“This was the second time Mary has kept Sadie for me and I wish I could leave 10 stars. She and Marc are exceptional. They both love dogs and it definitely shows in the care they provide. I love all the updates and adorable pictures they texted me each day. Thank you both for taking such great care of Sadie.”

“Krista was wonderful taking care of our family member while we were out for a week. Love her daily updates and pictures! Krista was also generous with her time and gave us additional time to pick up our little one after a 6 hour flight delay.”

“We have no concerns once we drop Coco off with Laquitta and James. We get updates and photos throughout the day, which ensures us that Coco is in safe hands. Highly recommend their services.”

About: Hi my name is Cassandra. I have owned dogs for most of my life so I have a good sense of how to tell what your furry friend wants. Provided hair clips for your little girl and bandanas for the boys. All animals love me so if you have cats or other animals that won't bother me. So please contact me if you are interested. Thank you very much. I am available weekday and nights and weekends for your pet sitter needs. I accept all pups as my own with loving arms. Thank you I have a fenced yard and two playful pups to keep your little one company. I can easily crate if needed. You may also request your pups to be crated.
About: I love animals, especially dogs and cats. I am respectful and considerate, and I spoil and pet them all the time. I have been taking care of animals practically since I was a child. I am aware that they have important basic needs to consider, such as bathroom time, meal time, walk time. If they need special care or to take any medication, I am also happy to fulfill them. I work remotely from home, so I'm available to provide objective, dedicated, and responsible care. I can answer your questions via text message. And if you decide to, give me a call; I'll be happy to help your furry friends. Abrir en They will be in my constant company. I have a living room with a dining room and an additional room, spacious spaces, and a small balcony in my apartment if they like to look outside. This would be accompanied by me, of course. They will never be alone. I am very affectionate with them. I can follow the routine you have planned (as similar as possible) to your pet's so that your absence is bearable and pleasant. Just write to me and tell me what you are looking for. I will be happy to help you.

About: I've been caring for cats and dogs for over 5 years, looking after pets for friends, family and neighbours. As a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Oxford, I'm responsible, detail-oriented and great with routines — your pet's feeding, medication and walk schedule will always be followed precisely. I have my own car, so vet visits or unexpected trips are never a problem. I genuinely love spending time with animals, whether that's long walks, play sessions or quiet cuddles on the sofa. Your pet will get attentive, affectionate care while you're away. I work flexibly from home most of the time, which means your pet will rarely be left alone*!!!!!! The only exception is Monday and Tuesday daytime, when I'm out at the office — outside of those hours, I'm fully available evenings, nights and all weekend for feeding, walks, play and cuddles. This makes me a great fit for boarding, drop-in visits and dog walking throughout the week. I own my home, so there are no landlord restrictions or sudden moves — your pet will stay in a stable, welcoming environment. The apartment is clean, quiet and pet-friendly, with a small private garden where dogs can safely stretch their legs, sniff around and enjoy some outdoor time. Inside, I'll set up a comfortable spot for your pet to relax and settle in. I always make sure doors and gates are secure before letting them out, and I stick closely to any feeding, medication or walking routine you provide. You'll get daily photo and video updates, and I'm always reachable by message if anything comes up.
“Andi was absolutely amazing taking care of our dog, Rico. We have not had him very long and we were filled with nerves leaving him so early. Andi updated us regularly and completely eased our minds. She took fabulous care of him and we look forward to her watching him again.”

“This is the first time I used Rover and i was so happy with the care Heidi provided to my dogs. She was very accommodating and was always available for any short changes. I would definitely recommend her.”

“Linda took care of our GSD Dolly like she was her own. After a very pleasant meet and greet with Linda we felt she would work well with our Dolly. Having her own personal ownership of a large, protective breed, her understanding of them was an asset to be able to work with Dolly, who is loving, and very protective of both her family and friends. Linda was amused by Dolly's protection of their home by ferociously barking at the UPS man making a delivery! lol Linda was more that diligent taking care of Dolly and sending many photos and videos throughout the day. Dolly was obviously happy and content in her care. Thank you Linda and we will definitely be booking with you again! Dolly send kisses to both you and your husband.”

“What a terrific person Rebecca is! She's very easy to talk with, understands my pups needs and quirks, and...she sent me pictures of my boy every day! This was my first time using Rebecca. I went on a cruise, so you could imagine that I'd be a bit nervous. But Rebecca put me at ease on day one and every day going forward! I didn't worry at all!! He got lots of attention and love! Great job Rebecca! And your wonderful family, too!”

“Lorraine is amazing! This was the first time we left our dog in awhile and she made us feel so comfortable about leaving him behind. She sent lots of updates with photos and videos twice a day. We knew our dog was safe, happy and healthy. He also had the best time running around and playing with other dogs all day long. You won’t have to worry leaving your pets in the care of Lorraine!”

About: When our sweet dog of 14 years passed away Nov 2017 I started volunteering as a dog walker at Homeward Pet in Woodinville where I received rigorous dog walking training. While working there I enjoyed the interaction with many different types and temperaments of dogs. A true blessing being able to give them love, protection, reassurance and fun when they most needed it. I've always loved animals my entire life and would very much enjoy taking care of your precious baby. Looking forward to seeing your dogs smiling face I'm retired and have extra time to spend having fun with new pets and helping neighbors with thier babies. Plus I live right here in Harbor Hills. Visiting your fur baby in your home, using all leashes, harnesses and collers provided by family. All babies will need to be secured in golf cart.
“Kristin was very understanding of Teddy's anxiety and was great overall. Regular updates, and great at communicating throughout my trip. Would recommend anyone looking for a place to board their pet to give her a call!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Oxford
Peggy took wonderful care of our Rottweiler and treated him like her own. We received daily updates along with pictures and videos. Peggy is very professional and a great communicator. We highly recommend her and will definitely use her services again for our next vacation.

After investigating a number of overnight options for our sweet Standard Schnauzer, we were delighted to find Sarah! At the initial meeting, it was evident Sarah would be able to offer Eli a safe and secure home away from home while still keeping him active and healthy. We have received daily updates and feel comfortable that our pup is having a wonderful time at his sleep away camp! Thank you Sarah! Garrett & Mary

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
