“I’m so thankful for Dianette and her daughter and the amazing care they gave my dog Hunter. They were patient, loving, and very attentive. I really appreciated the updates with pictures and messages—it gave me so much peace of mind. Hunter was happy, safe, and well taken care of the whole time. I’ll definitely trust them again in the future and highly recommend their services!”

“This was our first time using Rover and couldn't be happier we found and used Andrea. She was absolutely wonderful. My husband and I were on a nine day cruise and Andrea kept us updated, sent pictures of our fur baby Chloe every other day. She took such good care of Chloe. Our girl had some other friends to play with along with Andrea's two boys. I am sure her large fenced yard was great for running and playing. We would highly recommend Andrea and will definitely use Andrea again.”

“Super sweet, lots of communication. I felt super comfortable leaving my baby. I got picture mail throughout, and could tell she and her family genuinely love and care about animals. Will definitely be using again!”

About: I've taken care of pets my entire life. I enjoy getting to know their personalities and interacting with them . I have plenty of time and availability to provide one to one care because I work from home. Pet care fits in perfectly to my schedule. I work from home so I have plenty of one to one time to provide to your pet. I set my own schedule and I have flexibility to do walks or play whenever it suits us. I live in a very quiet Country Club golf course community.
“Katherine took care of Buster while I was out of town. Buster suffers from bad anxiety and does not travel well. Katherine’s care allowed Buster to remain in a familiar environment and familiar faces. I could tell he was sad to see her go. I will definitely reach out to Katherine in the future to care for Buster.”
“Winston loved staying with Debra and she was amazing keeping us updated with pictures and news about his day. He was happy to see us but we could tell he enjoyed himself thoroughly.”

“June has a tremendous amount of love for the furry friends she takes care of. Our cat Tucker adapted very well to her home. He was treated like a king while he was in her care. June sent videos and pictures at least once a day, sometimes twice. Her pictures brought me peace of mind so I could enjoy time with our family. I highly recommend June. Thank you, June!”

“Alexa had a good time and came home happy, her second time with Janelly. Great to have someone close to home when we have to leave for a few days. She is easy to work with, and we will leave Alexa with her again.”

“Amy is a great dog sitter! Our pooch had a wonderful time and we felt totally confident leaving him in her care. She communicated well, sent us photos of him during our stay and went the extra mile. Highly recommended!”

“If I could give more than five stars, I would. Being this sitter's very first Rover client turned out to be a wonderful experience, and I wouldn't hesitate to book with her again. From the very beginning, she was communicative, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in making sure my pup felt comfortable and cared for. She treated him like one of her own, and it was clear that his happiness and well-being were her top priorities. I received updates that gave me complete peace of mind, and when I picked him up, he was relaxed, happy, and clearly well loved. Everyone starts somewhere, and if this first experience is any indication, she's going to be an incredible asset to the Rover community. Don't let the lack of reviews fool you—she exceeded my expectations in every way. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and dependable sitter. We'll definitely be booking with her again!”

“Julia was absolutely wonderful! This was the first time in a long time that our dog had stayed with someone other than family, so naturally, we were a little anxious about how she would adjust. From the moment she arrived, Julia went above and beyond to make her feel safe, comfortable, and right at home. She kept us updated throughout her stay with thoughtful messages and adorable pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear how attentive and caring she was, especially when it came to helping ease our dog’s anxiety and making sure all of her needs were met. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and, without a doubt, will be reaching out to Julia again to care for our fur baby. Thank you so much, Julia, for treating her with such kindness, patience, and love. We truly appreciate you! ❤️🐾”

“Clara had a great time with Peggy. She is a high energy dog and needs a place that is understanding of this and has a facility that is stimulating. Communication was top notch throughout the registration process (meet & greet, pre-boarding info, boarding time and post boarding).Peggy has a real interest and competency in dealing with animals. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
