“Katherine was an excellent sitter for my two dogs. She kept me up to date throughout the day and shared pictures and videos of my girls. She took care of my girls as if they were her own - spoiled and pampered. Katherine was great and I highly recommend her for your pet sitting needs! I'll definitely call on Katherine again in the future to take care of my girls.”

About: When our sweet dog of 14 years passed away Nov 2017 I started volunteering as a dog walker at Homeward Pet in Woodinville where I received rigorous dog walking training. While working there I enjoyed the interaction with many different types and temperaments of dogs. A true blessing being able to give them love, protection, reassurance and fun when they most needed it. I've always loved animals my entire life and would very much enjoy taking care of your precious baby. Looking forward to seeing your dogs smiling face I'm retired and have extra time to spend having fun with new pets and helping neighbors with thier babies. Plus I live right here in Harbor Hills. Visiting your fur baby in your home, using all leashes, harnesses and collers provided by family. All babies will need to be secured in golf cart.

“We have no concerns once we drop Coco off with Laquitta and James. We get updates and photos throughout the day, which ensures us that Coco is in safe hands. Highly recommend their services.”

“This was our first time using Kristin and we were very happy with her care of our 3 dogs and overall services. She watched them over a hurricane weekend (which made us nervous), but she was calm and managed the whole situation very well. We would highly recommend Kristin!”

“Andrea is great to work with and provides the perfect place for my energetic Catahoulas. I was happy they had other friends to play with and had many squirrels and lizards to chase. They were completely worn out after their 2 night stay! I’d recommend Andrea to anyone! Thank you for everything!”

“Heidi was absolutely awesome taking care of Luigi and Penny. From the start, I felt completely at ease knowing they were in such caring and attentive hands. She treated them like her own, kept me updated, and clearly understood their different personalities and needs. I came back to two happy, relaxed pups which says everything. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to book Heidi again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and genuinely great with dogs.”

So very happy I found Robin. It was a last minute decision to leave town for the weekend, and she responded right away. Assured us that she would take wonderful care of our George and she did just that. Plenty of pictures, loves and walks. Very happy with Robin and she is definitely on my list now.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
