“Adrienne has watched Buster and Franky several times and it has been a great experience each time! They love being with Adrienne and Steve and feel right at home. They are treated as part of the family.”

“I'm so glad I found Maxine! This is my second time using her service.. and I will definitely rebook with her! Thanks for another fun doggy vacation time for Daisy. She loves the walks and the chance to play with other doggies! You're the best!”

“Jill is fantastic! It's obvious she loves the pups and connects easily with them; her daily updates are reassuring, and the pics are great. She has rearranged her schedule to accommodate mine, which I truly appreciate. I foster dogs, and when the occasional boarding need arises I always use Jill. Her calm demeanor and the socialization with other dogs, cats and horses is so very helpful for them to gain confidence and learn the skills that will help them find their forever families. I encourage you to use Jill the next time your pup needs a place to crash- she's the absolute best!”

“Amy is a great dog sitter! Our pooch had a wonderful time and we felt totally confident leaving him in her care. She communicated well, sent us photos of him during our stay and went the extra mile. Highly recommended!”

“We left Rue with Kristin for 3 days. She was very responsive and sent us a few pictures each day. The first day we did experience a little less communication, but after chatting and stating our preferences Kristin was great! She was also very flexible with our pickup time due to delayed flights. Very appreciative of her!”

“Super sweet, lots of communication. I felt super comfortable leaving my baby. I got picture mail throughout, and could tell she and her family genuinely love and care about animals. Will definitely be using again!”

“We rebooked with Andi since our dog, Mabel, seemed to love her time with Andi & her family! They took great care of her, sent lots of updates, & even cared for Mabel when she unexpectedly went into heat early. Thanks again Andi for taking care of our berner bear!”

“This was our first time using Rover and couldn't be happier we found and used Andrea. She was absolutely wonderful. My husband and I were on a nine day cruise and Andrea kept us updated, sent pictures of our fur baby Chloe every other day. She took such good care of Chloe. Our girl had some other friends to play with along with Andrea's two boys. I am sure her large fenced yard was great for running and playing. We would highly recommend Andrea and will definitely use Andrea again.”

“Lorraine was great. She provided multiple photos, videos and updates during the day. My dogs had a great time playing with the other pups in her care, and they seemed well-adjusted and happy upon pickup.”

“Bridgie and Charly had a Great stay for 7 days with Jerarlin and her pups. Charly developed an ear infection and I was able to send meds quickly via Amazon. Jerarlin administered drops and wipes daily and he felt better quickly. My pips love hanging out in the large, fenced in yard. Thanks!”

“June has a tremendous amount of love for the furry friends she takes care of. Our cat Tucker adapted very well to her home. He was treated like a king while he was in her care. June sent videos and pictures at least once a day, sometimes twice. Her pictures brought me peace of mind so I could enjoy time with our family. I highly recommend June. Thank you, June!”

About: What sets me apart is my lifelong experience caring for both dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and personalities. I was raised with pets and have hands-on experience caring for dogs ranging from Boxers and German Shepherds to Terrier mixes. I understand that every pet has unique needs, energy levels, and routines, and I strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I have also completed a Leash Reactive Dog Course Certification, which has given me valuable training in understanding and safely handling dogs that may be reactive, anxious, or overstimulated on walks. This helps me provide calm, confident care while prioritizing your dog's safety and comfort. In addition, I have experience caring for cats of many breeds, including Siamese, Himalayan, Maine Coon, and both long-haired and short-haired domestic cats. I've cared for cats from playful kittens to senior companions, giving me experience with age specific needs and senior care. Whether your pet is young, energetic, shy, reactive, or in their golden years, I provide dependable, attentive care and treat every pet as if they were my own family. I currently work from home while my husband grows our family inspection business, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time for walks, playtime, enrichment activities, and lots of belly rubs. Animals have always been a big part of my life. Recently, I lost my beloved cat after 17 wonderful years. While we're not quite ready to welcome another permanent pet into our family, the universe seemed to have other plans. A wounded stray cat found her way into our driveway and into our hearts. We took her in, got her the care she needed, and are now helping her heal and thrive. Caring for animals brings me so much joy, and I'd love the opportunity to provide the same love, attention, and dependable care to your pets while you're away. I provide a calm, low-stress home environment where pets receive plenty of individualized attention. Because I work from home, I'm able to give pets lots of supervision, companionship, and engagement throughout the day. Whether your pet prefers relaxing in a quiet setting or needs extra playtime and exercise, I tailor my care to their unique personality and routine to help them feel safe, comfortable, and right at home.

I think is Alexa's fifth stay with Sandra, Alexa always gets good care, and Sandra is flexible to meet our schedule. Her place is very close to home so it's convenient to pick Alexa up on the way home after a trip, this time was a 2-night visit. I never have to worry while I'm away.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
