“I’m so thankful for Dianette and her daughter and the amazing care they gave my dog Hunter. They were patient, loving, and very attentive. I really appreciated the updates with pictures and messages—it gave me so much peace of mind. Hunter was happy, safe, and well taken care of the whole time. I’ll definitely trust them again in the future and highly recommend their services!”

“Kristin took such great care of our boy Rocky. She sent pictures and updates several times a day to keep us posted on his care. Rocky came home happy and relaxed. We recommend Kristin and will be using her in the future.”

“My dog (Marty) stayed with Marcela and her family from January 1st to January 5th. This was our first time using DogVacay and we were nervous to say the least. Marcela was very responsive each time we emailed to check in on Marty... she even sent me pictures which really helped put us at ease. We would recommend Marcela, especially given her responsiveness. Marty came home happy.”
“June was so nice, easy to work and communicate with, and most important of all she took great care of Sadie. She sent updates and pictures frequently. I’ll definitely have her sit for Sadie in the future if she’s available.”

“So very pleased with the care our dog was given! Charles kept in touch with pictures and comments. We have never left our dog this long before and couldn’t be happier. Will Definately use him again!”

“Taylor did AMAZING! She kept us updated and took pictures of our pups! She also let our dogs interact with her dogs and cats! Our pups came back exhausted so that means they had a ton of fun! I will recommend Taylor to anyone and definitely go to her again for our dogs to be watched and cared for”

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I have years of hands-on experience caring for them and truly enjoy spending time with them. I provide patient, loving care and make sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and happy. I currently work from home, so I have plenty of time to care for and play with your pups. I’m available for boarding seven days a week. I have a good- sized fenced yard and a friendly medium-sized dog to keep your fur baby company. I can also crate your dog if needed.
“Julia and Alllen took a good care of my two beautiful cata They responded to my messages , sent me pictures everyday , and hand fed my cat when she was anxious and refused to eat They are a great pet care giver and i will use their service again”

“To say Jerarlin is a blessing would be a understatement! She and her family are hands on. My one year old Bentley, a bernedoodle is nothing short of a handful. Jerarlin knows the right amount of discipline needed to keep him in line. Yet manages to lavish him love throughout his stay. She has a well mannered doodle herself who also keeps Bentley in check by teaching him boundaries and dog manners. lol Her home is beautiful, very clean and spacious. The yard is lush with grass having plenty of room for run and play. I've fostered poodles for 15 years and highly recommend Jerarlin for your fur babies stay, weather it be a day, a night or on a weekly basis. Jerarlin sparkles and shines. She stands out on the highest level of humanity. Regards, Penny M”

“My St.Bernard, Mila, spent a night/day with Angel and Taylor last week. This was her first time being boarded in over a year and my first time trying Rover.com. Everything went great! Mila was running with them in the field while I was leaving. They sent pictures of her on their couch! There was another large dog there as well, no issues. I will definitely use them again, and would recommend them to anyone! This is so much nicer than a kennel!! My girl was happy, I could tell!! Thanks ladies!!!”

“Tifany was incredible with our puppy! Only 2 months old and we had a last minute trip come up, she taught him new commands, took such great care of him and he was so excited to be there. We got pics and videos every day of him having fun and being loved. Already booked for future events when we are in need of a sitter. She also has a doggy hang out bus in her backyard which is so cool! Highly recommend!”

About: I've had dogs for over 60 years. All my dogs have lived long and happy lives. Animals are the best creation by God! I have a heart for all animals but I truly love dogs. I want to help others by being the best caregiver out there to leave their fur babies with. I'm picky and understand the need of someone you can trust while you are away. Boarding in a kennel is not an option for me and I understand safety is paramount along with quality care. I have a Shit-zu and a Chihuahua whom both are my life and my husband always says: If he was a to come back in another life as a dog, he wants to come to my house! Best description I can think of for what they mean to me and the care they receive.

I think is Alexa's fifth stay with Sandra, Alexa always gets good care, and Sandra is flexible to meet our schedule. Her place is very close to home so it's convenient to pick Alexa up on the way home after a trip, this time was a 2-night visit. I never have to worry while I'm away.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
