“Laquitta and James were simply great. They put you at ease from the moment you contact them! I know Rocky had a great time with them and I would not hesitate leaving my baby with them again! Thank you so much for all you attention.”

“This was my dogs first time staying the night with someone outside of family. My dog was nervous at first and went straight to his crate. By the time I picked him up the next morning he was so happy. He warmed up to Kristin and her family and played well with the other dogs. Kristin updated me with a picture and that he was able to sleep through the night no problem. This put our minds at ease. We will be booking again in the future.”

“We absolutely love Diana and couldn’t recommend her more. We’ve been going to her since Ares was just a puppy, and she has always been so accommodating and loving with him. It’s clear she truly cares about the dogs she watches. She even offered to take my father-in-law’s dog as well so they could stay together while we’re out of town, which meant so much to us. Diana is very responsive, quick to communicate, and makes the whole process stress-free. We always feel confident knowing our boy is in great hands with her.”

“Cooper had the best time! 🐾 He was happy, relaxed, and clearly having a good time with the other dogs while I was away. I loved getting the updates and pics, it made me feel so at ease. I’ll definitely be booking again!”

“June has a tremendous amount of love for the furry friends she takes care of. Our cat Tucker adapted very well to her home. He was treated like a king while he was in her care. June sent videos and pictures at least once a day, sometimes twice. Her pictures brought me peace of mind so I could enjoy time with our family. I highly recommend June. Thank you, June!”

“The dogs seemed to have a great time. They were happy and healthy when we picked them up. Korie has several acres for the dogs to run and play. Korie is very responsive and sent lots of pics and videos of the dogs which made me happy and comforted. We will definitely bring our babies back to Korie!”

“My son dropped off our dog, but said that Rebecca was very pleasant and the transition of leaving our dog with her went smoothly. I received pictures of our girl every day, and Rebecca reassured us that she was doing great. Our dog seemed to enjoy her visit with Rebecca :)”

“Jordi and Jewels are always happy to arrive to Jeralins and sad to go. We get updates whenever we ask. She always makes any concerns known (such as their eating). Jewels has severe anxiety and Jeralin is the only sitter she has done well with.”

“Super sweet, lots of communication. I felt super comfortable leaving my baby. I got picture mail throughout, and could tell she and her family genuinely love and care about animals. Will definitely be using again!”

“Dennis was wonderful!! He sent several pictures of Misa to let me know how she was doing and I was able to enjoy our trip without worry. He was very accomadating with drop off/pick up making it a very smooth visit. It was a great stay!!”

About: I have taken care of lot's of animals my whole entire life both dog and cat pet sitting for years. All of my friends, family and patients have relied on me to take care of their Pets for short and long periods. I am home during the day and especially at night -so it is Very easy for me to include them in my daily schedule. I am available most weekends and holidays. I have a front and backyard -the back has a linai and a pool but it is enclosed. I have access to multiple fields nearby to my house. I allow dogs to swim in the pool with the owner's permission. My house flooring has no carpet so messes are easy to clean up. Requirement: For the safety of our future dogs we will be sitting,we require proof of up to date vaccinations and flea/tick treatment. A copy or picture of your pets most recent veterinarian visit summary will be fine.

This was my first time leaving mylo with any sitter and was very nervous but they reassured me with ease he would be in great hands! Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Weirsdale
Rachel has kept Huck and now my puppy Charlie as well for long stays while I've been overseas. I go the distance to take them to Rachel's because I know they're having a good time on a farm romping around with her dog Bailey. I have peace of mind and am able to enjoy time away. My doggos are golden retrievers and thrive in this type of environment. Rachel is a natural with animals. Mine come home happy and well behaved. Many thanks to Rachel for taking such good care of them!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
