“Dianette kept our fur baby Stormy while my family and I went on vacation. It was our first time leaving our dog with a sitter. I was a bit nervous but my dog had a great time with her dogs and loved her family. Dianette’s home has lots of outdoor space to offer. I could tell my dog felt safe and at home. Dianette has great communication, she provided daily updates and photos while we were away. Dianette is amazing and highly recommended.”

“Cooper had the best time! 🐾 He was happy, relaxed, and clearly having a good time with the other dogs while I was away. I loved getting the updates and pics, it made me feel so at ease. I’ll definitely be booking again!”

“Jill is absolutely fantastic! She loved our fur child like her own and he enjoyed every moment of it. Sheamus has definitely found his second home and will be visiting Jill and her family again soon!”

“We have no concerns once we drop Coco off with Laquitta and James. We get updates and photos throughout the day, which ensures us that Coco is in safe hands. Highly recommend their services.”

“Dennis was a great dog sitter! He made it easy for dropoff/pickup and kept me updated with pics throughout the stay. He took good care of my Ringo, and I could tell Ringo enjoyed his stay. Thanks, Dennis!”

About: I have lots of experience with big animals and small old and young and I also understand that they all can have different needs at different stages of life and I can help with that. I work Monday through Thursday so my Friday and weekends are free to help. I can do early morning walks mid and and evening times too depending on the needs My home is pet proof I do have animals of my own and they love it when new friends come over to play. I do pet sit for friends when they have to go out of town. If you are more comfortable with me coming to you. I always respect your house and fur baby just like my own and keep things clean
“Jerarlin was super! Cooper took to her right away. She took us on short notice but was very accommodating. Sent some great pics of Cooper having a good time. This was our first time using Rover and Jerarlin. We will definitely use her again if she will have us.”

“Amy is a great dog sitter! Our pooch had a wonderful time and we felt totally confident leaving him in her care. She communicated well, sent us photos of him during our stay and went the extra mile. Highly recommended!”

“I had a medical emergency and was recently hospitalized. I called Taylor & Angel to watch my little girl Cinnamon for 3 days and they not only did they drop everything and agree to take her but they drove over to my house, collect her dog food and get her out of her crate and take her back to their farm. You guys are the best!”

“Super sweet, lots of communication. I felt super comfortable leaving my baby. I got picture mail throughout, and could tell she and her family genuinely love and care about animals. Will definitely be using again!”

“I am so glad that I found Carolina and her family. She is a true animal lover, and it shows in how much attention and patience she had put into caring for my cat, Mochi. Carolina went far and above beyond expectations. My Mochi had a big beautiful room with a brightly quilted bunk bed to climb on and plenty of cat trees, scratching posts, and windows in which to luxuriate in the sun. He could also enjoy piped-in music throughout the day and a big flat screen TV. He was warmly welcomed into the family home, roaming freely and playing with Carolina's many pets. He loved his vacation at Carolina's as much as I had enjoyed mine! I might also mention one aspect of this Rover experience that is critical for me and should be important to consider for other pet owners. Carolina keeps her boarding spaces immaculate. Bedding, cushions, and bowls are spotlessly sanitized, and all of her pets are on a rigid flea and worm prevention program, so there is no danger of cross contamination. I am very pleased and feel that my Mochi had a five star hotel experience for a fraction of the price.”

“Winston loved staying with Debra and she was amazing keeping us updated with pictures and news about his day. He was happy to see us but we could tell he enjoyed himself thoroughly.”

“We couldn't be happier with the care our fur babies received during their stay with Andrea. This was the first time we left them with anyone other than family or friends. We will use Andrea again without hesitation”

About: As a devoted dog mom, I understand that pets are family. Caring for Molly and Thor every day has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and creating a safe, loving environment where every dog feels comfortable. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and needs so they receive personalized care. Whether your dog loves to play, go for walks, or simply relax, I’ll make sure they feel happy, secure, and loved while you’re away. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can have peace of mind knowing your best friend is in caring hands. I work from home most of the time, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. Caring for dogs is already part of my daily routine, so your pet will receive regular potty breaks, playtime, walks, meals on schedule, and lots of love. I keep pet parents updated with photos and messages so they always know how their furry family member is doing. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely play under supervision. When a new dog arrives, I keep them separated from my own dogs at first so everyone has time to adjust comfortably. If all dogs are relaxed and interactions go well, I gradually introduce them in a safe, supervised way. If a dog prefers their own space, I’m happy to keep them separated throughout their stay. My home is clean, calm, and pet-friendly, and every dog is treated with patience, kindness, and love like family.
“Andi took such exceptional care of our Harvey. She treated him as if he were her own puppy and kept me updated on how he was doing. I was a little nervous about leaving him, but that didn’t last long. She let me know how he was eating, getting along with her dog and how much he loved playing with their toddler . This all put me at ease! I can’t say enough wonderful things about her. We will definitely use her again. Thank Andi for taking such good care of our boy🥰”

“This family was amazing! Went above and beyond our expectations with our little old lady pup! Videos and pictures every day that she was with them! She was spoiled rotten by them and I think she was a little irked that she had to come home at the end of her stay!! We are 100% pleased with our experience with our experience!! Will use again in the future! ❤️”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Weirsdale
Rachel has kept Huck and now my puppy Charlie as well for long stays while I've been overseas. I go the distance to take them to Rachel's because I know they're having a good time on a farm romping around with her dog Bailey. I have peace of mind and am able to enjoy time away. My doggos are golden retrievers and thrive in this type of environment. Rachel is a natural with animals. Mine come home happy and well behaved. Many thanks to Rachel for taking such good care of them!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
