About: For 60 years my wife, Kathy (Recently deceased)) & I have welcomed dogs in our lives. For the past 8 years we’ve enjoyed furry friends through Rover as“MOM & POP’S PET SITTING SERVICE.” Top Rover Reviews. I am starting anew on my own through Rover as “PAPA’S PET SERVICE.” Sorry, I don’t sit cats. look forward to sharing time with your little doggy guy or girl some time soon.❤️🐶 Since. My wife’s passing, I am alone & retired. Looking to share some time with dogs again. I live in a courtyard villa that is a wall protected playground. My house is dog friendly, just waiting to share time with your little furry one. Your dog will get excellent attention, love & care while here. My furniture & floors are clean.& pet-friendly with plenty of toys to enjoy. Even a doggy door. Come for a meet & greet and see for yourself.❤️🐶
“We had to leave our two sweet boys, Bogey and Moose, over Christmas, and Gage & Annie made the whole thing feel like a cozy family vacation for them instead of just boarding. From the meet & greet to pickup, they were so thoughtful and easy to communicate with — quick responses, super flexible on timing, and always double-checking details like arrival times. They sent daily updates with adorable photos and videos: the boys playing fetch, getting belly rubs and snuggles at night, hanging out in their own spare room for quiet time, and even some special Christmas surprises like a stocking and new toys! They only take two dogs at a time so everyone gets tons of personal attention, and it really showed — my boys were happy, calm, and clearly spoiled with love and play. The updates kept me smiling the whole trip and made leaving them so much easier. When I picked them up, they were relaxed, excited to see me, and looked like they’d had the best time. If you want your pups to feel like part of the family while you’re away, Gage & Annie are the real deal. We’re already looking forward to booking them again! Highly recommend — thank you for making our Christmas trip worry-free and giving our boys such a special stay!”

“Alexus was great! She communicated with us. She sent us pictures and every time I checked in she responded, and she took very good care of our children!! She’s awesome I highly recommend her!”

“Our dog, Harper, is very timid around people, but did well in Bill and Krista's welcoming home. They frequently sent updates to assure us she was settling in and we were able to travel with peace of mind knowing Harper was in good hands.”

“Stefhany was great! I left my babies with her for a whole week while I was on vacation and every single day she sent me pictures and videos! I am so grateful for her and her kids who loved the doggies, and took great care of them. I am definitely rebooking with Stefhany again! Thank you so much! I was able to enjoy my trip and be at peace knowing that Toby and Roxy were in good hands.”

“Krista was wonderful taking care of our family member while we were out for a week. Love her daily updates and pictures! Krista was also generous with her time and gave us additional time to pick up our little one after a 6 hour flight delay.”

“Needed to board our dog max for 2 weeks during an international trip at the last minute. They were both very friendly and accommodating of our dog! Will definitely book again!”

“Beautiful home & perfect place for my dog! Her doggies kept mine company, and so did her kids. There is so much yard space (5 acres) to run around, and Diannette and her family cared for Buttercup like their own. He seemed very content in photos she sent. Highly recommend.”

“Very caring and loving sitter. The dogs were really well kept. She was extremely patient and went above and beyond with my geriatric dog, which was greatly appreciated.”

“We had a wonderful experience with Elisa while she cared for our dog, Lia. This was our first time using Elisa’s services, and she immediately made us feel comfortable and confident that Lia was in great hands. Throughout Lia’s stay, Elisa kept us updated with daily messages and photos, which gave us peace of mind and allowed us to see how well Lia was doing. She was also very attentive to Lia’s eating habits and took the time to ensure she ate her full meals, something we truly appreciated. Elisa’s care, communication, and genuine attention to Lia’s needs exceeded our expectations. We can honestly say that we will be bringing Lia back to Elisa in the future and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter.”

“Absolutely great service from the moment we dropped off our dog to the moment we got him back! They sent us photos throughout the few days he was with them and he certainly looked like he was having a great time. I would 100% recommend and will be leaving Cash with them again!”

“June did a superb job with Bentley & followed all of the instructions with his medications & feeding etc. She is obviously a dog lover & I think he got spoiled a bit as today he seems a bit off being back at home! Apparently he decided to get into bed with June to sleep, something he never does at our house! She responded to any questions via text or by phone and kept us informed through videos and photos every day. We would have no problem leaving him again with Miss June.”

“Shayla is wonderful. Shaggy came home happy and full of zest and for an old dog, that's great. Shayla's home has plenty of room for playing and exploring (something Shaggy does a lot of). She sent me many pictures while I was out of town and they are all keepers.”

“I absolutely could not have found a better couple to take care of my beautiful 12 lb Shih Tzu. I never let anyone take care of him but I had to because I was visiting here and they answered quickly and I was so overjoyed. I'm so blessed to have found them so quickly and my Giovanni was so blessed to have them take care of him. Thank you so much for taking care of my sweet boy and giving him a happy home for 6 nights. You all are amazing! God bless you.”

“This was the second time Mary has kept Sadie for me and I wish I could leave 10 stars. She and Marc are exceptional. They both love dogs and it definitely shows in the care they provide. I love all the updates and adorable pictures they texted me each day. Thank you both for taking such great care of Sadie.”

“I recently moved to Ocala and needed a new pet sitter. I felt comfortable with them at the Meet and Greet and my first sitting experience with Laquitta & James far exceeded my expectations! I received updates with several pictures EVERY DAY. They pampered Lucy and gave her extra attention since it was her first time staying with them. She was so well cared for and comfortable at their home. They will be my go-to sitters for any future trips!”

“Joanna was very flexible and patient with the schedule. I could tell she cared about my cats. I appreciate her being able to take care of my cats last minute. I will be definitely using her again.”

“I would definitely ask Melissa to watch my fur babies again! She went above and beyond providing love and attention to my kitty and lots of pictures and updates. Very happy with her service!”

“Teri is not only reliable, she go the extra mile to ensure your pet is safe, happy, content, rightly cared for. I promptly received a photo every morning, an update on his demeanor, an apology when a hairball was discovered on a white carpet, plus a sincere attempt in it's removal. My lil' boy was even gifted a new toy! How thoughtful and generous. I strongly recommend Teri for all you kitty owners, she's a godsend.”

“Our cat was very unhappy when we arrived home - because she clearly missed Berkley! Berkley is everything you want in a sitter: conscientious, communicative and caring. She was great with every aspect of our cat’s care, and had no aversion to administering medicine if needed. We will definitely use her again and highly recommend!”

“Attentive and responsive sitter. Victoria communicated with us during an unexpected neighborhood emergency, working with first responders to permit her access to our pets and relayed pertinent information to us. She thoughtfully informed us of issues which might point to a health concern. Will recommend and will certainly request her services again.”

“Sabrina was beyond phenomenal! From the first meet and greet, we immediately felt confident that she would be responsible to watch our home and our cat. She was timely, organized and clean, communicative, and sent us the cutest photo updates. She is also very detail oriented and shared a few updates on our cat to ensure we were aware of a few habits that could be indicative of a developing ear infection. We cannot wait to hire Sabrina again in the future!”

“Amazing, thank you for taking such good care of my boy! Shay goes above and beyond to make sure your pet feels comfortable and safe and always keeps you in the loop. I've gotten some great photos of my pup this week. Thank you again, Shay!”

“If you’re looking for a pet sitter who treats your fur baby like their own, look no further! She checked in on my cat every single day last week while I was out of town, and from the very first visit, I could tell he was in great hands. What truly set her apart was the communication — she sent photos and updates after every drop-in without me even having to ask. As a pet parent who worries from afar, that peace of mind was priceless. She made sure he was eating, drinking, and staying entertained with his toys, which is honestly everything you hope for when you can’t be there yourself. The trust factor is real — I’ve already booked her again for an upcoming work trip, and this time she’ll be caring for my dogs too. That says it all! If you want someone reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring, Carol Ann is your person!”

“Jessica was great! This was the 1st real vacation that we've taken in 10 yrs all because we couldn't leave our 3 kitties boarded. We agreed to try Rover & after meeting Jessica, we knew we were doing the right thing! Our kitties are spoiled... no doubt about it... and it was going to take a special person to be patient & loving enough for this task! Enter Jessica! We had the best person for the job! I see other vacays in our future! Thank you Jessica (& Rover).”

About: I love dogs. Friends call me the whisperer. I lost my Princess 2 years ago to cancer and I find that this is the best medicine for me. I love to travel so having another baby right now is not in the cards. Taking care of your baby is the next best thing. I have had people fly me out to Portland, California, and New York to pet sit for them. I absolutley love it. Some of the dogs I have cared for were sick or new family members. I love to take them on new adventures but only if Mom and Dad are okay with it. I also love to train, play, and hug on them. My only job is taking care of your dog, so I am with them the entire day and night. Sometimes they will go on a golf cart ride with me. My yard is not fenced in so your dog would be walked regularly. There are plenty of grassy areas next to and accross the street from me. If there is a schedule you have for the dog that is what will be followed.
“Thank God for Melissa… She took excellent care of my Kitties even though they are scared of strangers. I was out of the country during the cold snap and she walked into a very cold house, but got my thermostat working so it stayed at 70°… not in the 40”s she walked into and let me know what was going on every day she came. Everything was clean and taken care of. I will definitely call her again when I am traveling.”

“Angela was wonderful. My cat was put on twice daily medicine a week before I was scheduled to go on vacation. I was very worried about how she would handle me going away, but she loved Angela! Angela also gave all 14 doses at their prescribed times and sent me lovely pictures at every visit! I cannot recommend her highly enough!”

“Tammy responded to us quickly, communicated about our pets needs, and was very professional. After reading her background, I felt very secure and safe. She's in my area and I will definitely call on her again in the future!”

“Leaving your furry family members for an extended period of time is never easy. Hailey helped to make the situation as good as it could have been. She was conscientious of our needs and very respectful of our home. We loved receiving updates and pictures during her stay and she was always quick to respond whenever we would reach out. We found Hailey to be diligent, trustworthy and prompt. We have already scheduled her next stay.”

About: Hi! I’m an experienced and reliable dog walker with a genuine love for animals and a passion for providing safe, attentive care. I’ve worked with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities—from energetic puppies who love adventure to senior dogs who need a slower pace and extra patience. I understand that every dog is unique, so I take time to learn their routines, personality, and individual needs to make sure they feel comfortable and happy. My goal is to give your dog not only exercise, but also companionship, attention, and a positive experience while you’re away. I’m dependable, patient, and committed to treating every dog like family. Safety is always my top priority, and I believe in positive reinforcement, consistency, and building trust with both pets and owners. You can count on regular updates and communication so you can feel confident knowing your furry friend is in caring hands. I look forward to meeting you and your pup and becoming someone both of you can rely on! I don’t have a daily routine or pets of my own at this time, I have learned that pet care becomes a set of repeating rhythms spread across the day rather than one big task. A typical routine often looks like this: * Morning: feeding, fresh water, a walk or litter-box cleanup, and a quick check that the pet seems normal in energy and behavior. * During the day: exercise, play, mental stimulation, bathroom breaks, and attention that matches the animal’s needs. * Evening: another meal if needed, more activity or bonding time, grooming for some pets, and preparing a comfortable sleep setup. * Less frequent tasks: brushing, nail trims, cleaning habitats or bedding, training, medications, and vet appointments. Different pets shift the balance a lot. A dog may anchor your day around walks and exercise, while a cat may need shorter play sessions and litter maintenance. Good home pet care usually includes consistent food and fresh water, regular exercise and play, a clean living space, grooming, and attention to health and behavior. Dogs often need walks and training; cats need litter-box maintenance and play. I also watch for changes in appetite, energy, or behavior because those can be early signs that something is off.
“Chrissy was quick to respond, which was so appreciated when we realized we needed a dog sitter at the last minute. Our dog Elsa was spoiled with healthy treats and play pals- dog tv and attention. We recommend Chrissy and who knows if she’s doing a pick up anyway, she may pick your dog too. Pleasant experience working with her.”

About: I have been a pet owner (dogs and/or cats) for over 30 years of my life. I have past experience as a vet tech and a groomer, and I would love the opportunity to meet and treat your pup as one of my own. We have two other pups in the home who love other dogs and are hoping they’ll have a chance to play with your dogs soon! I currently work remotely, from my home for my job, so I am available to care for your pet(s) any time they may need it. I have a fenced back yard (half of which is 6ft vinyl privacy fencing) and two energetic pups of my own, to keep your doggo(s) entertained for hours.
“Janelle was super responsive and accommodating. I was driving from Georgia to get something’s done in Ocala. Unfortunately, I was unable to leave our two pups at home. She was willing to take them in with less than 24 hours notice. Every message was responded to within a couple of minutes, if not seconds!”

About: I’ve taken care of animals for as long as I can remember. When I was a little girl I would always help take care of my animals with my mother. I used to live on a farm and I have had experience with many different pets/animals. I have experience with dogs, cats, reptiles, farm animals and small animals. I also have experience with bathing, trimming nails, cleaning ears, and expressing anal glands. I can also administer medications. This is my full time job so I can do my very best to accommodate anyone who needs a pet sitter who truly cares about their pets. My wife and daughters help me sometimes as well. Our daughters are also knowledgeable in pet care from getting hands on experience through me. My wife just come with me every where I stay for Moral support. 💕 I have a fully privacy fenced in yard. If the pet is in a home without fence I will be sure to leash walk your pet for safety reasons. If your pet feels comfortable in a crate feel free to bring it. Also if there is a special toy, bed or something they enjoy or prefer they can bring it along for their stay.
About: Certified by the American Red Cross in Dog and Cat First Aid/CPR, includes training on CPR, choking, wound care, seizures and general care. Our family has had dogs for over 20 years. We have loved and cared for them from puppies to seniors. We currently have 2 gentle dogs in our household that play well with other dogs. Dogs are invited to play in our fenced in yard and swim in our pool. My husband and I both work from home that provides us with ample time during breaks and lunches to play and care for ours and your pets. My husband works 7 days on and then has 7 days off. This provides him with a lot of flexibility to provide attention to our furry friends. When our teenage son is home from school, he too enjoys playing with the pooches. We split our time between Florida and Minnesota, so some of our pictures may have palm trees or pine trees, depending on where we are. :) Our yard is fenced in and we do have access to a field for dogs to play fetch. We allow dogs to swim in the pool with the owners permission. Our flooring has no carpet so messes are easy to clean up. Vaccination & Flea Treatment Requirement: For the safety of our dogs, and the future dogs we will be sitting, we require proof of up to date vaccinations and flea/tick treatment. A copy or picture of your pets most recent veterinarian visit summary will be fine.
“Tifany is incredible. She has made lulu feel right at home while we were away and provided tons of photos and videos to ease mom’s mind! With lulu being so young and a puppy, we weren’t sure how she was going to do her first night away but we will absolutely be back with Tifany. This was great for socialization for a new puppy! Lulu has the best time. Thank you Tif!”

“Amazing person, communication, easy to get along, understanding, patient, my baby was happy because she have 2 other babies so he was able to have play time, she send video and pictures all the time , I had to extend my stay to 2 other days and she was happy to accommodate me, another thing I love I can tell she take care of him, he come back the way he was drop off, smelling good, no poop under his feet or smell like he was rolling in pee. He is not a cage dog I will recommend her 100% and rebook all the time”

“Alexus was able to accommodate Sammy on short notice for a day stay. This was the first time I needed to leave him in awhile so it was the first time I met Alexus. I immediately liked her demeanor which is very calming. Her home is lovely and clean and she allows pets in home which is good especially in warmer humid weather. She took Sammy on several walks. I was very rushed that day, late dropping Sammy off and picking him up. I would like to spend more time with Alexus next time I book!”

“My golden doodle, Brandy had her first sleep over with Charles and she loved it! While there, Brandy was treated like family. She was comfortable, happy, and well cared for. I received pictures of Brandy and updates. The yard is incredibly big, fenced in, lots of shade. This is a perfect place for any dog to be!”

“Gage and Annie did an awesome job taking care of our two pups! They provided updates throughout the day which we really appreciated. We will definitely be using them again.”

Jennifer was also so kind to make last minute arrangements for Lacey to stay with her parents when we had to head out of town. She’s a marvel, she is trustworthy- & comes & goes from our home when we are not here. Jennifer gets 10 star rating!”

I also have a 6 month old baby and I am adapted to being a mother at the same time. I make sure they have their water bowls filled. Also will make sure to feed them based on what feeding schedule they are on at the time, and take them for walks daily. Also I’ll make sure they get enough love and affection while their owners are gone.
“Angela has been very patient with me trying to learn how to use Rover. She's done an excellent job with my little Yoshi. He can be a bit of a wild card out on walks and she has handled him very well and he enjoys his walks very much.”

“Krista was wonderful taking care of our family member while we were out for a week. Love her daily updates and pictures! Krista was also generous with her time and gave us additional time to pick up our little one after a 6 hour flight delay.”

“Shayla is wonderful. Shaggy came home happy and full of zest and for an old dog, that's great. Shayla's home has plenty of room for playing and exploring (something Shaggy does a lot of). She sent me many pictures while I was out of town and they are all keepers.”

“We left Rue with Kristin for 3 days. She was very responsive and sent us a few pictures each day. The first day we did experience a little less communication, but after chatting and stating our preferences Kristin was great! She was also very flexible with our pickup time due to delayed flights. Very appreciative of her!”

“This is the second vacation that we’ve left Benji with Debbie and she is the BEST! Her home is perfectly setup for doggies and her little guy Teddy is the greatest playmate!! I will absolutely continue to book Debbie as often as possible!”

“Teddy and Gina enjoyed their stay with Rebecca. During their visit, Rebecca sent pictures of Teddy and Gina playing and snuggling. Rebecca was easy to communicate with and was responsive to all our questions. This was a great first experience.”

“I just can’t say enough good things about our little Shih Tzu boarding with Andrea. We were very apprehensive about boarding our dog anywhere, but after reading her excellent reviews and coupled with the reliability and convenience of using Rover, we decided to board with Andrea. She cared for our dog as if she were a trusted family member. She also took her and picked her up from a grooming appointment. We had peace of mind that our dog was being extremely well cared for. She’s fantastic! Thank you Andrea. We look forward to boarding with you again anytime we go away.”

“Melissa was excellent and Sam and Bailey really took to Melissa. We were kept in constant communication and she made their visit personable. They were relaxed and felt like they were home. We appreciate the way she cared for our fur babies. We will definitely use Mellisa any time we are out of town. She cared for Sam and Bailey as we would.”

“Rudder had an awesome time with Jerarline and the other dogs she was watching! She was fine even though he is super high energy and wants to play all the time. I got him home and now all he is doing is sleeping!”
