“Korie was great! Our two dogs loved their stay at Korie's place. We got photos and updates on their stay during our trip. Only problem we thought we might have is that our dogs might not want to come back home with us !!”

“I had a fantastic experience with The Pruitts. They were incredibly caring and attentive towards my Lena, ensuring her well-being and happiness throughout. Communication was excellent, with regular updates and quick responses to any inquiries. Denny and Robert provided a safe and secure environment, following my dog's routine diligently. They went above and beyond, engaging in interactive play and forming a strong bond with Lena. Booking was convenient, and the overall experience left me with peace of mind and a contented pup. I highly recommend their dog sitting service for its exceptional care and professionalism.”

About: I have taken care of my family and friends animals since I was 14, I am now 20 and have worked with Animak Enforcement for a year at the LCSO. I have also volunteered at many Animal Shelters! I’m currently available at any point in time, animals fit into my active routine as taking on walks and caring intensively is something to look forward with me! I cannot do boarding at my home due to mom and sister being allergic :( I plan on having an animals sanctuary when I move out!

“This was my first appointment on Rover and Ann was wonderful helping me set the request and of course also great while taking care of my 3, attention demanding, frenchies! She was also very flexible on adjusting to the time needs of the day, dogs loved her right away like they knew her for a long time even though this was the first sitting. Thanks Rover and pet sitters for all you do !!”

“What an awesome family!!! They took care of Milo so well. My flight from a short trip was delayed almost 2 days and they were very accommodating. I highly recommend them and will use them again!! They are definitely 5 STAR!!!”

“This was my first time boarding with Nikhol and it was such an amazing experience. It was an unintended last minute booking which had me anxious but she was immediately understanding and excited to take my pup. The level of communication was top notch. Sent lots of pictures and updates which made me feel comfortable from the start to finish. I will for suuureee be using Nikhol again.”

“Judi did an amazing job caring for our two Chihuahuas! She and her husband are so loving. Staying in an unfamiliar place with new people can be very stressful for our little dogs. Judi went above and beyond to ensure they felt comfortable and loved. She took the time to find out about their routine, likes, and dislikes. One of our dogs is almost blind and Judi used her own throw pillows to make a soft barrier so Leah wouldn't run into their sliding glass doors. We could tell from the photos that our dogs felt safe and comfortable. We highly recommend Judi as a care giver!!”

About: When our sweet dog of 14 years passed away Nov 2017 I started volunteering as a dog walker at Homeward Pet in Woodinville where I received rigorous dog walking training. While working there I enjoyed the interaction with many different types and temperaments of dogs. A true blessing being able to give them love, protection, reassurance and fun when they most needed it. I've always loved animals my entire life and would very much enjoy taking care of your precious baby. Looking forward to seeing your dogs smiling face I'm retired and have extra time to spend having fun with new pets and helping neighbors with thier babies. Plus I live right here in Harbor Hills. Visiting your fur baby in your home, using all leashes, harnesses and collers provided by family. All babies will need to be secured in golf cart.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
