About: We come from a loving pet family and love meeting new ones. My name is Mike, my wife is Ruby, and our son Lincoln, who is now in the Navy. We treat our two dogs like children. There are toys all over the house to play with and whenever they are tired they lay on our recliners or couch to sleep. We are able to follow any schedule and can provide medication if needed. Your loved ones will be treated like family ❤️ I will provide hands on care such as playing, walking or anything extra required. There will always be either myself or my wife at home. I work during the week days but my wife Ruby is home during the day. During the weekends we both are home. We have a fenced in yard and a park near by that we can walk to. Our two male dogs are neutered and we will only care for one family's pet(s) at a time.
“Holly was on time and extremely responsive. I was in a bind and needed someone next day to let Nash out in the evening and in the morning. She responded within 5min of me reaching out and we scheduled a meet and greet 1st thing in the morning and she was on time and extremely professional. On both days she was on time and walked him as expected and communicated updates and pictures. Really put my mind at ease while I was out of town”

“My dog Hazel absolutely enjoyed walking with Dustin!! She waited for him at our parents’door every time he pulled his car at the drive way. He sent us details about how she walked everyday, which made us feel totally at ease on our trip. We highly recommend him!! 🐕 Thank you Dustin😊🙏”

“Carolina is the BEST! Her connection with the dogs is amazing and wonderful to watch; as is their response to her. She is highly qualified, but more important, she has a natural affinity for the animals in her charge. I highly recommend her to care for your precious pet.”
“Jaclyn was amazing, I could tell she really cared for my pets felt very safe leaving them in her hands. She was always very on time and sent me so many pictures 💗 We also had a large storm which caused some property damage and she kept me informed so we could start to handle from a distance. Would really recommend Jaclyn, I hope she is available for my times away in the future 💗”

About: I have my veterinarian assistant diploma. I have also worked with animals the majority of my life. I have three cats and two dogs. I am also a very caring clean person. I will be out of a job on May 1st so i will have plenty of time to take care of your pets needs and more. I have a fenced in yard, and I have a mother in lawsuit that your animals would be very comfortable in. There is a bathtub, sink, and a fridge in the room.

About: My Pet Care Experience I have been surrounded by animals my entire life. Growing up, my family raised a high energy Jack Russell Terrier, which taught me a lot about patience, smart play styles, and managing bold personalities. Today, my fiancé and I share our home with a happy Golden Retriever/Labrador mix and a 2 month old kitten. Caring for them daily keeps me sharp on big-dog stamina, training reinforcement, and the delicate routine needed for a growing kitten. What Sets Me Apart Multi-Breed Comfort: I am equally comfortable with small, fast-paced terriers and large, strong retrievers. Puppy & Kitten Experience: Raising a 2 month old kitten means I am used to active supervision, tracking strict feeding schedules, and managing young pet energy. Owner Peace of Mind: Because I am a pet parent myself, I know how hard it is to leave your babies behind. I focus on clear communication and sending frequent photo updates so you know they are safe and happy. My Availability & Schedule I offer flexible daytime and evening care tailored around my weekly class and work schedule. I am strictly available for Dog Walking and Drop-In Visits during the following times: Sunday & Monday: Fully available all day and evening. Tuesday: Available for morning and afternoon visits. Wednesday: Fully available all day and evening. Thursday: Available for afternoon and evening care. And weekends if needed. Because I prioritize the safety and comfort of my own pets at home, I do not offer overnight house sitting or boarding services. This allows me to dedicate 100% of my energy to focused, high-quality walks and quick drop-in care for your fur babies! My Approach to Client-Home Care & Safety Because I strictly offer Dog Walking and Drop-In Visits, my priority is keeping your pet safe, happy, and comfortable right in their own familiar environment while respecting your home. For Drop-In Visits (Dogs & Cats): Arrival & Security: I enter your home carefully to ensure pets don't slip out the door. I strictly follow your entry, alarm, and lock-up instructions. Routine & Care: I stick closely to your specific feeding, fresh water, and medication schedules. For cats, I handle litter box scooping and clean up any messes. Attention & Play: I dedicate my full visit to keeping your pets company, offering plenty of focused playtime, scratches, and mental stimulation. For Dog Walking:Safety First: I always check that collars, harnesses, and leashes are secure before stepping outside. I keep dogs on a secure, short leash and avoid interactions with unknown dogs on the street. Weather & Hydration: Living in Florida, I make sure the pavement isn't too hot for their paws, keep walks a comfortable pace, and ensure they have plenty of fresh water immediately when we get back. I always wrap up every single visit by ensuring your home is perfectly locked up and sending you a quick summary with cute photo updates!

About: Years of experience with cats and dog. Comfortable with any and every size, large or small. I am a runner, so if you have a high energy baby I would love to run with them! Get off at 7:00 Fridays I go in at 6:30 and get off at 1:00. Off on the weekends I would love to spend time with your fur babies playing with them, making sure they're fed with water brushing them playing with them for however long you see fit. You can count on me to follow your pet’s routine, keep you updated, and make sure they feel comfortable and loved while you’re away. I’m currently not working, which means I have plenty of time and flexibility to give your pet consistent attention and care throughout the day. Pet care isn’t something I fit in around a busy schedule — right now it IS my schedule. For house sitting I treat your home with the same respect I’d want shown to my own. I follow your pet’s established routine closely, keep doors and gates secured, and I’m attentive to your pet’s behavior and needs at all times. I have three cats of my own, so I understand how important a calm, safe environment is for animals.

About: I’m Brooke! Lover of all pets, young and old, big and small. I can do walks, hikes, swimming, even to a play day at the park, I am sure I will pamper your pooch. For me, it’s their stay, their way! They lead me on their walks, so I allow them to safely do what they want, within reason of course. I might even bring them along for a beach trip and can make some new friends! Pet stores are a given. Starbucks pup cups are a given. Any specific requests for them? Let me know! I allow them on my bed and couch, unless you prefer them not to. I always keep the water bowl full and pets happy and healthy. Allow me to meet y'all and let’s play fetch! I’ll even give them a bath if you want! Just bring their shampoo if they have sensitive skin! 🐶 I’m currently a Paralegal remote, so I have plenty of time to play with your pups and attend to them! ❤️ Some call me the dog whisperer but I credit my dog attraction success by understanding that “it’s the dogs world and I’m just living in it”. Dogs come first in my house. I’m always excited to take my dogs on a hike, walk or puppy play date. I live in a dog friendly house with a fenced in yard. I have sat numerous dogs both young and old and enjoy pup slumber parties. If your pup needs a bath, I am willing to scrub them in the tub. If they need certain medications, I can do so. I am also known to make cute treat dog baskets. They’ll be spoiled by me! 🐾❤️ Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate quality time to each pet, whether that means walks, playtime, feeding, medication administration, or simply providing companionship and attention. I understand how important consistency is for pets, so I make it a priority to follow their normal routines as closely as possible. Throughout the day, I provide regular potty breaks, exercise, enrichment activities, and plenty of affection. I also make time to send updates and photos to pet parents so they can feel connected and reassured while they’re away. Whether caring for a playful puppy, an active adult pet, or a senior companion who needs extra patience and care, I am committed to making sure every pet receives the attention, love, and individualized care they deserve. My goal is to help pets feel relaxed and at home while giving owners peace of mind. Whether I am caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I take the time to learn their individual needs, personality, feeding schedule, exercise requirements, and any special instructions. In a client’s home, I respect both the pet’s routine and the owner’s home. I provide feeding, fresh water, walks, potty breaks, playtime, exercise, medication administration if needed, and plenty of affection and companionship. I know that many pets are most comfortable in their familiar environment, so I work to keep their routine consistent and stress-free. If caring for pets in my home, I provide a clean, safe, and welcoming environment where pets can relax and feel part of the family. I ensure they have plenty of attention, supervised playtime, exercise, comfortable resting areas, and constant access to fresh water. I closely monitor pets for any signs of stress or discomfort and adjust care to meet their needs. No matter where I am caring for your pet, I treat them as if they were my own. I believe communication is important, so I provide regular updates and photos so pet parents can feel confident knowing their furry family member is receiving loving, dependable care every day.
About: I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember. I’m currently a dog sitter for my mom whenever she goes out of town. At most, I have taken care of 3 dogs and 2 cats at one time. I have a 6 month training in pet grooming where I learned how to read the signs of a scared or uncomfortable dog/cat, and will always respect their space when it comes to a stranger in their area! I’m currently working part time, so it’s easy for me to stop by and check on your pets! It’s more of a hobby for me than a way to make money. I love all pets! I will always make sure your dog or cat is comfortable with me. Whether that’s giving them the space they need, or making sure they received plenty of affection, or simply making sure they’re in the home!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
