My dog Hazel absolutely enjoyed walking with Dustin!! She waited for him at our parents’door every time he pulled his car at the drive way. He sent us details about how she walked everyday, which made us feel totally at ease on our trip. We highly recommend him!! 🐕 Thank you Dustin😊🙏

About: Please note: my phone goes on do not disturb at 10pm. If you reach out after 10pm, please be patient and know that I WILL respond to you IMMEDIATELY in the a.m. I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and currently share my home with three cats and a 30-year-old Amazon parrot. My pets are my family, and that’s exactly how I treat the animals in my care. I’m attentive, patient, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals of all personalities — from snuggly lap cats to high-energy dogs. You can count on me to follow your pet’s routine, keep you updated, and make sure they feel comfortable and loved while you’re away. I’m currently not working, which means I have plenty of time and flexibility to give your pet consistent attention and care throughout the day. Pet care isn’t something I fit in around a busy schedule — right now it IS my schedule. For house sitting I treat your home with the same respect I’d want shown to my own. I follow your pet’s established routine closely, keep doors and gates secured, and I’m attentive to your pet’s behavior and needs at all times. I have three cats of my own, so I understand how important a calm, safe environment is for animals.

About: I’m Brooke! Lover of all pets, young and old, big and small. I can do walks, hikes, swimming, even to a play day at the park, I am sure I will pamper your pooch. For me, it’s their stay, their way! They lead me on their walks, so I allow them to safely do what they want, within reason of course. I might even bring them along for a beach trip and can make some new friends! Pet stores are a given.

Starbucks pup cups are a given. Any specific requests for them? Let me know! I allow them on my bed and couch, unless you prefer them not to. I always keep the water bowl full and pets happy and healthy. Allow me to meet y'all and let’s play fetch! I’ll even give them a bath if you want! Just bring their shampoo if they have sensitive skin! 🐶 I’m currently a Paralegal remote, so I have plenty of time to play with your pups and attend to them! ❤️ Some call me the dog whisperer but I credit my dog attraction success by understanding that “it’s the dogs world and I’m just living in it”. Dogs come first in my house. I’m always excited to take my dogs on a hike, walk or puppy play date. I live in a dog friendly house with a fenced in yard. I have sat numerous dogs both young and old and enjoy pup slumber parties. If your pup needs a bath, I am willing to scrub them in the tub. If they need certain medications, I can do so. I am also known to make cute treat dog baskets. They’ll be spoiled by me! 🐾❤️ Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate quality time to each pet, whether that means walks, playtime, feeding, medication administration, or simply providing companionship and attention. I understand how important consistency is for pets, so I make it a priority to follow their normal routines as closely as possible. Throughout the day, I provide regular potty breaks, exercise, enrichment activities, and plenty of affection. I also make time to send updates and photos to pet parents so they can feel connected and reassured while they’re away. Whether caring for a playful puppy, an active adult pet, or a senior companion who needs extra patience and care, I am committed to making sure every pet receives the attention, love, and individualized care they deserve. My goal is to help pets feel relaxed and at home while giving owners peace of mind. Whether I am caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I take the time to learn their individual needs, personality, feeding schedule, exercise requirements, and any special instructions. In a client’s home, I respect both the pet’s routine and the owner’s home. I provide feeding, fresh water, walks, potty breaks, playtime, exercise, medication administration if needed, and plenty of affection and companionship. I know that many pets are most comfortable in their familiar environment, so I work to keep their routine consistent and stress-free. If caring for pets in my home, I provide a clean, safe, and welcoming environment where pets can relax and feel part of the family. I ensure they have plenty of attention, supervised playtime, exercise, comfortable resting areas, and constant access to fresh water. I closely monitor pets for any signs of stress or discomfort and adjust care to meet their needs. No matter where I am caring for your pet, I treat them as if they were my own. I believe communication is important, so I provide regular updates and photos so pet parents can feel confident knowing their furry family member is receiving loving, dependable care every day.

Viana was absolutely wonderful with my dog, Lucy! She arrived right on time, took Lucy on a nice long walk, and followed every instruction I left. I asked her to wipe Lucy’s paws after the walk since I have white furniture and to give her a treat afterward, and she did both without me having to remind her. It gave me peace of mind knowing Lucy was well cared for and that my home stayed clean. I really appreciate Viana’s reliability, attention to detail, and care for Lucy. I would definitely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy dog walker!

About: I’ve always loved animals, exactly the reason I’m a chicken father of 4. I enjoy taking care of my animals to the best of my abilities, so I figured I could extend the love and quality care I give to my animals to yours. I know it can be a challenge to find a pet sitter or walker that’s right for you. And even more difficult to find one you can trust with your four legged loved ones. If you ask my chickens, they’d say go with me (maybe just to overthrow my house but they do still agree I’m your guy). I’m capable of caring for dogs, puppies, senior dogs, most reptiles, hermit crabs, rodents, and cats. If your loved one has any special needs I’m more than happy to fulfill them. As of right now I’m free almost every day. Whether it be morning, noon, night, or for multiple days I have plenty availability for your little guys. I care for your pets, so if there’s anything in particular you wouldn’t want your animal doing just let me know! Other than that I ensure your bundle of joy is safe at all times.

About: PLEASE READ ALL!! ⚠️ Hi!! I’m Elizabeth! I have a ton of fun experiences with dogs, cats, avians, fish, and reptiles! For a paw-sitive pet experience, choose me to give your family member the love and attention they deserve when you’re gone! A home away from home 🏡 Need a pet sitter but can’t afford it? No problem!! I can modify the cost just for you. I am here to save the day and enjoy a relaxing time with your babies! ❤️ I ask that every boarding owner to please bring a full roll of paper towels or some wipe-like cleaning supplies. I will also be starting an inconvenience fee if a pup has potty accidents. Thank you for understanding! I also have a 7-day cancellation policy, as stated on my profile. Any refunds will be through rover’s cancellation policy but outside the app there will be no refunds if it is not an emergency (or) if I did not do the canceling. Thank you for your understanding! I have an open and flexible schedule! I can meet during the week, weekends, and holidays when it is most needed at your inconvenience! ☺️ I do have an unfenced yard so I carefully watch or leash any dogs during potty time. I allow pets on my own furniture and I make sure to update any pet owners if needed! I do require every boarding pet owner to bring at (least) 1 roll of paper towels. Thank you for understanding!

About: I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember. I’m currently a dog sitter for my mom whenever she goes out of town. At most, I have taken care of 3 dogs and 2 cats at one time. I have a 6 month training in pet grooming where I learned how to read the signs of a scared or uncomfortable dog/cat, and will always respect their space when it comes to a stranger in their area! I’m currently working part time, so it’s easy for me to stop by and check on your pets! It’s more of a hobby for me than a way to make money. I love all pets! I will always make sure your dog or cat is comfortable with me. Whether that’s giving them the space they need, or making sure they received plenty of affection, or simply making sure they’re in the home!

Holly was on time and extremely responsive. I was in a bind and needed someone next day to let Nash out in the evening and in the morning. She responded within 5min of me reaching out and we scheduled a meet and greet 1st thing in the morning and she was on time and extremely professional. On both days she was on time and walked him as expected and communicated updates and pictures. Really put my mind at ease while I was out of town

About: I’ve had rescue dogs for over 50 years. I’ve had medium and large dogs. I have flown to different states to babysit my kids dogs for weeks at a time. I work part time with a flexible schedule and would be able to stop in and take care of your dog anytime of the day. I have a condo that has a large back yard that your dog would have plenty of room. About: I am an animal lover with hands-on experience caring for my own dogs and other animals. I am home full time, so dogs are never left alone and receive constant attention. I share my home with three happy dogs—Shadow, Sasha, and Misha—who are part of my family. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and loving stay for your dog while you are away. I speak English and Spanish, and I treat every pet as if they were my own, with extra care and lots of love. I am home most of the time, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, and care throughout the day. My routine is flexible and centered around the dogs in my care, including feeding, walks, playtime, and rest. Because I am home, dogs are never left alone for long periods and always receive consistent love and monitoring. I provide a calm, safe, and loving environment in my home. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions regarding feeding, walks, routines, and special needs. I can separate dogs if needed and always supervise interactions. I make sure doors and gates are secure, keep a clean space, and prioritize each dog’s comfort, safety, and emotional well-being at all times.

Liz did a great job walking my 8 year old dog twice a day while I was out of town for work. She was very communicative, responded timely, and prompt, even with the early morning walk time. Both my dog and my 5 month old baby took very well to Liz’s wonderful and kind demeanor. I am so happy I found her on Rover.

She is experienced with dogs, and I have no problem entrusting my dog into her care. She even managed to come and help me out at a very short notice, which was absolutely amazing. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
