To me this won't just be another job or a check-in, I want to get to know your dog, cuddle them, and have playtime with them for enrichment. I can train puppies, so if you are working long hours and need help with potty training, crate training, or mastering basic commands such as sit, I would love to help you with that while I'm there! My schedule is currently open for the entire summer, Monday through Sunday. If I am needed early morning hours or late evening hours, I am also open to discussing this. During in-home check-ins for dogs, only with your approval, I will give your pup treats for training purposes. Typically I will use single pieces of your dog's kibble to motivate them in learning commands. When it comes to cats, if you are hiring me to take care of your cat while you are gone for work or a trip, I will treat them as an indoor-only cat, no exceptions.

About: While I may not have years of experience like some, my love for animals does not fall short. I have taken care of dogs, big and small. Some with dietary restrictions and rigid feeding routines and others with a more lax regimen. I have house sat/pet sat and stayed in the owner’s home on multiple occasions. I’ve taken care of four dogs of various sizes at once, done drop-ins to feed/change water and let the puppers out for friends and family members, and I’ve also stopped by to do something as simple as a quick walk. Whatever you need, I can do it! I can assure you that I will treat your pet as my own. I currently work full time at a law firm in downtown but I live in Sanford. I have a reliable car and I don’t mind driving. I can pet sit/house sit on weekdays but I have work so it would be morning care and evening/night. I can also take a midday break if needed. I am off on the weekends so I will be able to be there full time. Depending on the owner, I have put pets into their crates when leaving the house or at night for sleeping but I have also let them roam freely, if the owner allows it.
