About: I have experience with dogs of all ages from puppies to seniors, and I can even administer medications, if needed. To me this won't just be another job or a check-in, I want to get to know your dog, cuddle them, and have playtime with them for enrichment. Puppies each have their own personalities and I have taken care of pups with challenging and sassy personalities, including my own 6 month old coonhound who is super independent. I can train puppies, so if you are working long hours and need help with potty training, crate training, or mastering basic commands such as sit, I would love to help you with that while I'm there! My schedule is currently open for the entire summer, Monday through Sunday. If I am needed early morning hours or late evening hours, I am also open to discussing this. During in-home check-ins for dogs, only with your approval, I will give your pup treats for training purposes. Typically I will use single pieces of your dog's kibble to motivate them in learning commands. When it comes to cats, if you are hiring me to take care of your cat while you are gone for work or a trip, I will treat them as an indoor-only cat, no exceptions.
“Viana was absolutely wonderful with my dog, Lucy! She arrived right on time, took Lucy on a nice long walk, and followed every instruction I left. I asked her to wipe Lucy’s paws after the walk since I have white furniture and to give her a treat afterward, and she did both without me having to remind her. It gave me peace of mind knowing Lucy was well cared for and that my home stayed clean. I really appreciate Viana’s reliability, attention to detail, and care for Lucy. I would definitely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy dog walker!”

About: Please note: my phone goes on do not disturb at 10pm. If you reach out after 10pm, please be patient and know that I WILL respond to you IMMEDIATELY in the a.m. I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and currently share my home with three cats and a 30-year-old Amazon parrot. My pets are my family, and that’s exactly how I treat the animals in my care. I’m attentive, patient, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals of all personalities — from snuggly lap cats to high-energy dogs. You can count on me to follow your pet’s routine, keep you updated, and make sure they feel comfortable and loved while you’re away. I’m currently not working, which means I have plenty of time and flexibility to give your pet consistent attention and care throughout the day. Pet care isn’t something I fit in around a busy schedule — right now it IS my schedule. For house sitting I treat your home with the same respect I’d want shown to my own. I follow your pet’s established routine closely, keep doors and gates secured, and I’m attentive to your pet’s behavior and needs at all times. I have three cats of my own, so I understand how important a calm, safe environment is for animals.

“Jennifer was great! She took care of my 7 cats and 1 dog and all went smoothly. She contacted me with questions and sent me updates and pictures. She was very kind and my babies loved her. I will definitely use her again... if she will come back! ?”

I’m reliable, communicative, and always happy to send updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is safe and happy. Your pet will be treated like one of my own! As a realtor, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to plan my day around pet care visits and walks. This flexibility means I can provide reliable care, midday visits, and consistent attention for your pets while you’re away. I’m happy to accommodate different routines and do my best to work around your pet’s specific needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. As a former veterinary technician with two years of clinical experience, I’m trained to safely handle animals, recognize signs of stress or illness, and respond calmly if a concern arises. My experience also includes volunteering at a zoo, where I worked with animals of many different species and temperaments, which helped strengthen my understanding of animal behavior and patience. I am comfortable with medications and recovery.

“Kayla was awesome! She was super flexible and took good care of our 2 boys. One had a small cut on his leg that bled a bit . She informed us, assisted in cleaning up the mess, and made sure that he was good for the night. We appreciate the extra effort and care! Definitely would book again!”

About: I treat every pet as if they were part of my family. I understand that every animal has unique needs, from energetic puppies to senior pets who require extra patience and specialized care. I have experience caring for elderly pets, including administering medications and following detailed care routines to keep them comfortable, healthy, and happy. Whether your pet needs playtime, cuddles, or a little extra attention, you can trust they'll receive compassionate, dependable care in a safe and loving environment. I offer pet care seven days a week and maintain a fairly flexible schedule to meet your needs. I spend my daytime hours caring for my young child and studying at home, which allows for plenty of attention and companionship. I have a very large fenced in yard that's perfect for getting those zoomies out! I do also have one other dog (a border collie named Nori). She is very friendly and would love to play with your fur baby during the day. We have plenty of toys to go around from frisbees, to tug-of-war, to balls, to squeakers, to chew toys. About: What sets me apart is the combination of my calm, nurturing approach and my hands‑on experience with pets at every life stage. I’m not just a sitter, I’m someone who truly pays attention to what each animal needs to feel safe, understood, and cared for. Here are a few things that make my care unique: 🐾 Puppy Training & Routine Building I’m experienced with young pups who need structure, patience, and consistency. Whether it’s reinforcing crate training, practicing basic commands, or establishing bathroom and feeding routines, I help puppies gain confidence and learn good habits early. 🧡 Senior & Special‑Care Experience I know how to adapt care for older pets who move a little slower or need extra gentleness. This includes administering meds (oral, topical, or drops), monitoring mobility, offering joint‑friendly walks, and creating calm, predictable environments that help reduce stress. 🎯 Behavior‑Aware, Needs‑Focused Care I pay close attention to body language, triggers, and comfort levels; especially with anxious pets or those who need a slower introduction. My goal is always to build trust, not rush interactions. 📋 Clear Communication for Peace of Mind You’ll always know how your pet is doing. I send regular updates, photos, and notes so you feel connected even when you’re away. 🏡 Respect for Your Home & Routines I follow your instructions carefully: feeding schedules, training cues, medical needs, house rules, and preferred routines, keeping life consistent for your pet while you’re gone. 🐾 Caring for Pets Fits Right Into My Day Pet care blends naturally into my routine since I work from home full‑time. I’m around all day, which means I can easily step away for potty breaks 🚶♀️, walks 🌿, playtime 🎾, or just some extra love and attention 💛 whenever your pet needs it. I like keeping pets on a steady routine, so I make sure feeding times 🍽️, outdoor time ☀️, and check‑ins 👀 stay consistent. With a flexible schedule, I can adjust to whatever your pet needs; more exercise, extra cuddles 🤗, or a midday drop‑in. It never feels like I’m squeezing anything in… caring for pets just naturally fits into my day. 💕 🐾 How I Care for Pets (In Your Home or Mine!) When I care for pets in their own home, I make sure their normal routine stays the same so they feel comfortable and secure. I follow your instructions closely—feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, meds, and all the little quirks that make your pet who they are. My goal is always to keep things calm, consistent, and stress‑free while you’re away. I also offer care in my home for pets who are toddler‑friendly and dog‑friendly. I live on an acre lot with a large fenced‑in backyard, which gives dogs plenty of safe space to play, explore, and burn off energy. It’s perfect for pups who enjoy room to roam or lounging outside in the sun. No matter where I’m caring for your pet, they’ll get lots of attention, love, and quality time. I’m around throughout the day to keep them happy, active, and cared for.

“Liz did a great job walking my 8 year old dog twice a day while I was out of town for work. She was very communicative, responded timely, and prompt, even with the early morning walk time. Both my dog and my 5 month old baby took very well to Liz’s wonderful and kind demeanor. I am so happy I found her on Rover.”
