Our usually shy, anxious kitty Daisy warmed up to her immediately which is incredibly unusual, but Jaclyn clearly has an innate ability to make pets feel safe, secure and loved in her presence. Her communication is excellent- she sent multiple photos, videos and updates with every drop in and went above and beyond to take care of not just Daisy, but also a group of outside community cats that we feed who *also* took to her right away. When we got home from our trip, our kitty was calm, content and like we’d never left (whereas in the past when others have fed her in our absence she would be anxious and hide for a couple of hours until she re-acclimated). Jaclyn is kind, calm, observant, caring, thorough and communicative. I now can’t imagine ever asking anyone else but Jacky to take care of Daisy when we’re away, and am so grateful to have found her. About: I have been taking care of pets most of my life. Between having many pets in our home such as cats dogs and birds I also have helped those in my neighborhood and other family members care for their pets since I was in high school. About: I began watching dogs in my neighborhood about two years ago and have LOVED it since. I do all breeds and sizes! I am capable of watching multiple dogs at once if needed! Despite me working part-time in Mount Dora and in Clermont, neighbors and I have always found a way to work around it, whether I come right before/right after a shift or just simply depending on their dog’s own capabilities. In Mount Dora, I am typically only gone for about a maximum of 5-6 hours, while Clermont may be a little over 8. When watching inside the homes of my clients, I ensure to keep attentive focus on the dog(s) at all times. I ALWAYS use a leash when letting them out unless it is already a fenced in area. On walks, I use caution and stay alert with other possible dogs walking. I try to keep distance if I know a dog is reactive by either moving to the other side of the street or simply turning and walking the other direction.

I currently work full-time with a strange schedule. Mondays and Wednesdays I work from 7:30. Take a break at 11:00. Go back at 2:30. Get off at 6:00. Tuesdays and Thursdays go in at 12:00. Get off at 7:00 Fridays I go in at 6:30 and get off at 1:00. Off on the weekends I would love to spend time with your fur babies playing with them, making sure they're fed with water brushing them playing with them for however long you see fit. If walks are required that is absolutely no problem. Would also love to work with your dogs with obedience and toy play.

From the very beginning, she made us feel completely at ease, and it was clear that Teddy was in loving, capable hands. One of the things we appreciated the most was the constant communication. She sent us tons of pictures and updates every day, which truly helped us stay connected with Teddy and enjoy our time away without worrying. It meant so much to see him happy, relaxed, and well-cared for. She was attentive, responsible, and clearly passionate about what she does.
