“Dennis has been great with my 3 month old Chocolate lab puppy. Romeo really seems to enjoy being with him. I greatly appreciate his patience when deal with a puppy and flexibility to accommodate my change in schedule as an educator. Thank so very much.”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter than Kayla! She and her husband welcomed my pup and it was clear she was happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. Also, thank you Coco for sharing your space with Porsche, you are an angel! Can’t wait to see you all again.”

About: I love animals and dogs have always had a special place in my heart. I’ve had dogs growing up and in all my adult life. I spent a couple of years volunteering at Pet Alliance, have been a foster and often dog sit for family and friends. Your dog will feel right at home with us. We have 3 kids a large home and large fenced in yard and a beautiful neighborhood for walks! All pups must be up to date with vet care and free of fleas/ticks for their stay with us 💕 I have been working remotely for the past 8 years. I am home all day during the week with a few scheduled outings some weekends for church and other planned events. Typically only take 1 additional dog at a time unless they come from the same home. Will make accommodations for my regular customers if dog behaviors align. I have a 7 yr old bully breed who has shared his home multiple times with fosters and family dogs.
About: Hi, I’m Carrie! I’ve been around animals my whole life - dogs, cats, guinea pigs, birds, rabbits, and even a frog! I currently have a dog and two cats of my own, so I know how important it is to find someone you trust when you can’t be there. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and ages, from energetic puppies to senior sweethearts. Whether it’s drop-in visits, walks, or just some extra love and attention, I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine! As a pet parent myself, I’m already used to scheduling my day around walks, feedings, playtime, and lots of cuddles. I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to prioritize drop-in visits and dog walks throughout the day. Whether it’s early morning, midday, or evening, I’m happy to work with pet parents to find the best times for their pets’ needs When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to stick to their normal routine so they feel safe, comfortable, and stress-free while you’re away. Whether it’s feeding, walking, playtime, or just keeping them company, I treat every pet like they’re my own - with patience, love, and attention to detail. I’m respectful of your home and always make sure things are clean and just as you left them. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pets (and your space) are in good hands.
“Thank you for taking such good care of Coco! We appreciate you for always being so kind and flexible. We know she loves going to your house because she runs out of the car to your front door - she can't wait to stay with you!”

“We needed a daycare spot for a few days with a nice yard for our high energy pup as our fence was getting replaced. When looking for a sitter, Jonathan and Jennifer checked all of the boxes. We are so thankful for you both welcoming Sailor into a safe and fun environment. We received regular updates with photos (some of those were hilarious). She came home happy after each visit and was excited to see them every morning we dropped her off. We will definitely reach out in the future!!”

“Thank you for everything you did and your help for us out of town out of state! Max had a great time and if and when we come back down I’ll reach out again, very welcoming and knowledgeable with the area and flexible with our unexpected issues (losing a phone) she is someone you can trust with your care! Love love the card and pictures ❤️”

“Lili is THE absolute best there is. If you want your baby to feel right at home, get personalized attention (if that’s what they need), come home exhausted from playing, fed, pooped, and happy, then look no further!! Lili isn’t just a dog sitter to us, she’s FAMILY! I don’t know what I would do without her. Honestly. Tanner knows as soon as we turn onto her street, and gets SOOOO excited! We have used other hosts, and the result is not the same…not all hosts are created equal!! There have been times with others when Tanner doesn’t even want to get out of the car. With Lili, I feel bad picking him up because I know he’s having the best time and living his best life! She has been flexible, caring, understanding, and gone out of her way MANY times, just to make Tanner (and me) happy! So, of you’re looking for a host whether it be consistently or just one time, you will NOT be disappointed!! I cannot say enough great things about her! Be like Nike and JUST DO IT!! You won’t regret it!!”

“This is our first time using Rover. We were out of town and needed someone to take care of our fur-baby for a day due that he had an emergency surgery. We are very pleased with Lee-Anne. Our fur-baby doesn’t stay just with anyone. He loved Lee-Anne from the time he arrived. That kept me at ease and happy. Lee-Anne asked us if it was ok to send us texts with updates. I told her that I truly appreciate asking becuase we wanted updates. Lee-Anne send us tons of videos and pictures. Lee-Anne followed our furbaby’s medicines and feeding instructions. We are very pleased with Lee-Anne services and highly recommend her. We will be using Lee-Anne when he come back to the Orlando area. Thank you for taking great care of our fur-baby. Our fur-baby was very happy.”

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
