“Brittany did a wonderful job sitting my pup! She was super communicative and was very accommodating when we needed to bring our pup over early. She also sent updates with pictures as well. Would recommend Brittany to anyone!”

“Laurie was wonderful! Our pups had an absolute blast! She sent updates, videos and pictures throughout their stay. Reached out with questions and let us know any concerns. Will book with her again!”

“Kayla really is the best!! This was our second time booking her to dog sit for us. She is very friendly, caring and warm. We can really tell that our dogs have a good time with her. She also sends plenty of pics, which is comforting when your away from your fur babies.”
“Milo had such a good time and we felt so at ease leaving him with Rebecca and Sophie. She kept us updated daily with pictures and videos, and Milo came back to us as happy as ever! Highly, highly recommend!”

“This was my Luna’s second time staying with Alexander while we were out of town. He is so patient with her and reads her emotions and demeanor very well and tries to adjust according to her needs. She always looks so happy when he sends me picture updates!”

“This was my first appointment on Rover and Ann was wonderful helping me set the request and of course also great while taking care of my 3, attention demanding, frenchies! She was also very flexible on adjusting to the time needs of the day, dogs loved her right away like they knew her for a long time even though this was the first sitting. Thanks Rover and pet sitters for all you do !!”

“Judi did an amazing job caring for our two Chihuahuas! She and her husband are so loving. Staying in an unfamiliar place with new people can be very stressful for our little dogs. Judi went above and beyond to ensure they felt comfortable and loved. She took the time to find out about their routine, likes, and dislikes. One of our dogs is almost blind and Judi used her own throw pillows to make a soft barrier so Leah wouldn't run into their sliding glass doors. We could tell from the photos that our dogs felt safe and comfortable. We highly recommend Judi as a care giver!!”

“Tisha was an amazing sitter! She was able to watch my dog at the last minute. London and Lilly had fun together and became couch buddies. Very communicative and sent pics 😊 Will definitely be booking with you again. Thank you so much!”

“Beautiful home & perfect place for my dog! Her doggies kept mine company, and so did her kids. There is so much yard space (5 acres) to run around, and Diannette and her family cared for Buttercup like their own. He seemed very content in photos she sent. Highly recommend.”

“If I could give more than five stars, I would. Being this sitter's very first Rover client turned out to be a wonderful experience, and I wouldn't hesitate to book with her again. From the very beginning, she was communicative, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in making sure my pup felt comfortable and cared for. She treated him like one of her own, and it was clear that his happiness and well-being were her top priorities. I received updates that gave me complete peace of mind, and when I picked him up, he was relaxed, happy, and clearly well loved. Everyone starts somewhere, and if this first experience is any indication, she's going to be an incredible asset to the Rover community. Don't let the lack of reviews fool you—she exceeded my expectations in every way. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and dependable sitter. We'll definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I have my veterinarian assistant diploma. I have also worked with animals the majority of my life. I have three cats and two dogs. I am also a very caring clean person. I have a fenced in yard, and I have a mother in lawsuit that your animals would be very comfortable in. There is a bathtub, sink, and a fridge in the room.
“My golden retriever loved staying with Connor for the weekend. He took great care of her & kept me updated with pictures. I will definitely book with him again!”

“Nikhol is wonderful! She is so caring with my pup! She was able to train him in ways I could not. If you want your dog in a family friendly environment, I highly recommend Nikhol. I could have not been happier!”

“We are so glad that we found Cristy! This is the first time we leave our dog with someone that we don't know and we were worried that he would get drepressed or anxious. Everything went great! Since the Meet & Greet until the end, she was very kind, communicative, send us pics and updates about how he was doing. Now we know who to reach to if we need future care of our dog.”

“Brittany was amazing with our two dogs. We had a last minute out of town trip and she was a huge help for our family. Local, nice, responsive and very good to our doggos. I will definitely be using her again in the future.”

“We are so happy we met this family to watch after our puppy while we were away!! They were so kind, sent pictures, had toys and treats. Even did an egg hunt for Easter with the dogs🐣 stayed in contact and really took care of our pup and spoiled him. We would definitely recommend them to anyone that needs a sitter and would use them again in the future. Thank you so much for taking such good care of Winston🐕”

“Caroline was absolutely amazing with my Mocha! Mocha is a funny elder dude, with sometimes special needs. I worry often when I leave him, Caroline kept me up to date with pictures every day! It’s a relief to know that we have a trustworthy sitter nearby!”
“Christina was so great with Clover! She sent me pictures and/or videos each day of the week. She looked so happy to be there. I highly recommend and will definitely have Clover return.”

“Jennifer is so great! I booked kind of last minute and she was was willing to work with with me. She and her family were very sweet and treated my fur baby like their own. They provided their own crates and food/water bowls. I appreciate their prep and care to detail! I will be working with Jennifer again! If you are looking for a caring and safe stay for your pup, please consider Jennifer!”

Charli has been taking care of our dog Jack since 2019, and he always has the best time. She has always gone above and beyond, for example: taking him on walks, bringing him along on outings like trips to Renninger’s, and making sure he feels comfortable and loved while we’re away. Now that Jack is a 15 year old senior, it means even more to us to have someone we trust completely. Charli took exceptional care of him during our most recent mini-vacation, and it’s clear how much she genuinely cares for him. We can tell Jack is happy and relaxed in her care, and she treats him like part of her own family. She even gives him a bath when on longer stays. We highly recommend Charli to anyone looking for care for their loved ones!

Kimberly was wonderful taking care of Ruby (a Corgi/CattleDog mix) over the Christmas Holidays. She sent great pictures & updates so I could relax knowing Ruby was comfortable and in good hands. Kimberly was also very understanding as bad weather delayed my flight and planned pick up time. I would recommend highly for future stays.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
