Having supported my own dogs through their later years, I understand how important gentle, attentive care is. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work Monday through Friday from 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM, which means I’m available for early morning visits before work and have my full afternoons and evenings open for walks, drop-ins, feeding, playtime, and overnight care. Because I’m off mid-afternoon, your pet won’t be waiting all day for attention. I’m able to give them consistent, reliable care and quality time — whether that’s a calm check-in, an energetic walk, or simply extra cuddles to help them feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I will always care for your pet the way you feel most comfortable, especially in your own home. I carefully follow any instructions you leave — from feeding routines and medications to favorite toys and bedtime habits — because I know how important consistency is for their comfort and your peace of mind. If they stay in my home, they’ll be welcomed into a calm, loving environment alongside my two pets. They’ll have access to a fully fenced backyard where they can safely explore and enjoy fresh air. I’m able to separate from my cat if needed to ensure everyone feels secure and comfortable. While I’m not able to separate from my dog, he is well-socialized and used to being around other animals. About: Most people know me as “B.J.” Short for Betty Jean. I love animals. I have had dogs & cats all my life. I have a rescue lab mix & who is my world. Also our feral rescue kitty.
