“I just want to start off by saying Sheryl & James were the best pet sitters ever! This was my first time leaving mylo with any sitter and was very nervous but they reassured me with ease he would be in great hands! Sheryl kept me updated and sent me tons of photos and videos with updates. Tucker and Mylo became best friends and enjoyed his time there☺️ So glad I found a sitter I can trust and leave my Mylo without having to worry! Can’t wait for future visits”

“Thank you very much for taking care of my 3 fur babies on such a short notice. I know they can be a handful at times but they came home as happy as when they were dropped off and that means the world to me.”

“Great dog sitter! Her house has a ton of land for your buddy to run around and they are going to have a blast. Kept me updated with lots of pictures, will definitely be using again next time.”

“This family was amazing! Went above and beyond our expectations with our little old lady pup! Videos and pictures every day that she was with them! She was spoiled rotten by them and I think she was a little irked that she had to come home at the end of her stay!! We are 100% pleased with our experience with our experience!! Will use again in the future! ❤️”

“Isabella was amazing. She took care of my two small dogs for six days. I got daily pictures, sometimes more. and they were so happy. She was quick to respond to messages. If I lived in the area I would be hiring her on the regular. Best dog sitter we have had.”

“This was the first time I’ve left our fur babies with someone who wasn’t family. Debbie took great care of them and gave me updates about their stay with photos. It eased my mind about leaving them.”

“We used Anne for the first time for a weekend overnight at her home with our dog. She arranged for us to meet before the weekend to get everyone comfortable, which was very much appreciated. During our dog's stay, Anne stayed in touch with videos and photos. The visit was a huge success! We recommend Anne for anyone looking for dog watching services.”

About: I have taken care of lot's of animals my whole entire life both dog and cat pet sitting for years. All of my friends, family and patients have relied on me to take care of their Pets for short and long periods. I am home during the day and especially at night -so it is Very easy for me to include them in my daily schedule. I am available most weekends and holidays. I have a front and backyard -the back has a linai and a pool but it is enclosed. I have access to multiple fields nearby to my house. I allow dogs to swim in the pool with the owner's permission. My house flooring has no carpet so messes are easy to clean up. Requirement: For the safety of our future dogs we will be sitting,we require proof of up to date vaccinations and flea/tick treatment. A copy or picture of your pets most recent veterinarian visit summary will be fine.

“Chrissy did a great job staying in touch with us while our dog Bentley was with her. She sent quite a few photos and updates throughout the day. I will definitely use her again.”

“Clara had a great time with Peggy. She is a high energy dog and needs a place that is understanding of this and has a facility that is stimulating. Communication was top notch throughout the registration process (meet & greet, pre-boarding info, boarding time and post boarding).Peggy has a real interest and competency in dealing with animals. Clara came home safe, tired and well cared for, which is exactly why we booked with Peggy, I look forward to our next visit. I highly recommend her.”

“I picked up my Kiwi today and I m thankful I found Stephany on Rover. She sent me updates throughout the weekend she was with her. This was my Kiwi’s first time away from me but I know she was very well cared for and she looks like she had lots of fun. I will definitely recommend and reuse Stephany & Jeans service!! Plus she smelled sooogood when I picked her up. Thank you so much!”

About: When our sweet dog of 14 years passed away Nov 2017 I started volunteering as a dog walker at Homeward Pet in Woodinville where I received rigorous dog walking training. While working there I enjoyed the interaction with many different types and temperaments of dogs. A true blessing being able to give them love, protection, reassurance and fun when they most needed it. I've always loved animals my entire life and would very much enjoy taking care of your precious baby. Looking forward to seeing your dogs smiling face I'm retired and have extra time to spend having fun with new pets and helping neighbors with thier babies. Plus I live right here in Harbor Hills. Visiting your fur baby in your home, using all leashes, harnesses and collers provided by family. All babies will need to be secured in golf cart.
“One that was an amazing dog sitter she loved our dogs as if they were her own. She communicated daily and followed specific instructions as it relates to food and medicine. She is highly recommended. We will definitely be using her again soon.”

“Connor was great and also shared pictures. Our dog had unexpected tummy issues when we dropped her off a day before we left and he was amazing taking care of her with a bland diet. We know it might have been tough but Connor was so gracious and understanding with the whole situation.”

“Susan was absolutely wonderful! I was so nervous to leave our babies while we went on a cruise, especially since I wouldn’t have service/internet but Susan made sure to give me updates as long as possible and when we got back. Drop off & pick up were quick and easy, even though both my pups are clingy. I will most definitely be using Susan anytime we need a sitter.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Fruitland Park
Shayla and her family were great with my boys! She sent pictures, videos, and comments that proved to me that she spent time getting to know them and caring for them. She even sent them home with the cutest treat bags! I appreciate that she had everything packed and together for me when I picked up. I'm usually in a hurry to get home after my trips and not waiting around to gather all their things is an extra nice touch. However, she didn't make me feel rushed and was happy to share about the highlights of their stay.

Maria was amazing with my very energetic dogs! She made me feel completely comfortable leaving them with her for a couple of days. They had plenty of playtime and running around, and she sent lots of pictures and check-ins throughout the day. They came back home happy and well cared for!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
