“Bri had such a great time with Jackie and Victor. I could tell she was comfy and felt right at home. I was also given plenty of updates and photos. Will definitely use them again. Thanks so much for taking care of Bri!”

“Denny took wonderful care of our dog! She sent pictures every day, gave him lots of play time, and even took care of a small ailment he had. She was also very flexible given our changing travel plans. Would highly recommend!”

“This was our first experience with Rover and having our two girls stay at a sitters home. My wife and I were absolutely pleased with Shayla and the service she provided us and our pups! We also enjoyed the photos of our girls throughout their stay. Shayla takes excellent pics! Shayla deserves more than a five star rating!! Thank you Shayla!”

“Charles and Rebecca were fantastic. Accommodated last minute request. Very flexible. Friendly, gentle people - terrific with animals. Great house with large fenced yard. Will definitely take Tucker there again.”

“We had an amazing experience with our Krista! From the moment we met her, we felt completely comfortable leaving our dog in her care. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. Our dog, Aries, absolutely adored her, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We received updates and could tell our pup was happy, relaxed, and well cared for the entire time. We will definitely be booking with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!”

“Dennis and his son took great care of our puppy Phoenix. They even helped him stop jumping so much and he learned a trick. :)! Received updates and pictures. Definitely will use again. Sheila”

“Rudder had an awesome time with Jerarline and the other dogs she was watching! She was fine even though he is super high energy and wants to play all the time. I got him home and now all he is doing is sleeping!”
“This was my dogs first time staying the night with someone outside of family. My dog was nervous at first and went straight to his crate. By the time I picked him up the next morning he was so happy. He warmed up to Kristin and her family and played well with the other dogs. Kristin updated me with a picture and that he was able to sleep through the night no problem. This put our minds at ease. We will be booking again in the future.”

“I am so glad that I found Carolina and her family. She is a true animal lover, and it shows in how much attention and patience she had put into caring for my cat, Mochi. Carolina went far and above beyond expectations. My Mochi had a big beautiful room with a brightly quilted bunk bed to climb on and plenty of cat trees, scratching posts, and windows in which to luxuriate in the sun. He could also enjoy piped-in music throughout the day and a big flat screen TV. He was warmly welcomed into the family home, roaming freely and playing with Carolina's many pets. He loved his vacation at Carolina's as much as I had enjoyed mine! I might also mention one aspect of this Rover experience that is critical for me and should be important to consider for other pet owners. Carolina keeps her boarding spaces immaculate. Bedding, cushions, and bowls are spotlessly sanitized, and all of her pets are on a rigid flea and worm prevention program, so there is no danger of cross contamination. I am very pleased and feel that my Mochi had a five star hotel experience for a fraction of the price.”

“They took great care of our 4-year old poodle. They sent many videos and updates throughout the stay that gave us peace of mind and let us know that he was in good hands. We would definitely use them again!”

“Super sweet, lots of communication. I felt super comfortable leaving my baby. I got picture mail throughout, and could tell she and her family genuinely love and care about animals. Will definitely be using again!”

“We absolutely love having Andrea watch our Labrador. He doesn’t even look back when it’s time to go to her home. We know he’s well taken care of and we’ll continue to use her.”

“Mary and Mark were wonderful to work with. Molly is a senior dog and she was well taken care of for our long weekend away. I was comfortable with the environment right away. Mary was very loving with Molly and she worked with me to understand the needs she has. I received pictures, texts, and video updates throughout the weekend and knew that I had nothing to worry about. So happy to have found her. Highly recommend and have booked her again in November! Thank you for being so caring.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Fruitland Park
Shayla and her family were great with my boys! She sent pictures, videos, and comments that proved to me that she spent time getting to know them and caring for them. She even sent them home with the cutest treat bags! I appreciate that she had everything packed and together for me when I picked up. I'm usually in a hurry to get home after my trips and not waiting around to gather all their things is an extra nice touch. However, she didn't make me feel rushed and was happy to share about the highlights of their stay.

Maria was amazing with my very energetic dogs! She made me feel completely comfortable leaving them with her for a couple of days. They had plenty of playtime and running around, and she sent lots of pictures and check-ins throughout the day. They came back home happy and well cared for!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
