About: My morals represent a caring, loving, sentimental, responsible pet owner who has cared for friends and family members pets. I definitely care above and beyond. I currently express to show my love and care for others pets as I lost my 14 year old American Foxhound early this year. We were very active together enjoying hiking, dog park adventures, her first beach trip together and sharing our kindness with all who encountered us during our visits. Safety is my first priority for your loved pet. I make accommodations for their comfort and well being a huge priority, for me it's first.
“Mary Catherine was excellent! Communication was great from the start and our dogs were well cared for and we were totally at ease! We highly recommend Mary Catherine! 🐾🐾”

“Carol Ann does such a wonderful job. You can tell by her interactions and the pictures she sends just how much she loves animals and loves her job. We love having her take care of our dog when we go away.”

“Kayla came through for me at the last minute. Tax season is summing up and breeder could not delay delivery and good thing I got him when I did because the rest were gone in a week so got him earlier than I wanted and needed help, so I reached out late at night on Rover.com and Kayla responded. I have used Rover in the past so I was familiar with them but I am so grateful for Kayla and Kou Kaz loved her on first meeting her. Kayla has a very sweet spirit. Perfect spirit for a 10 week old pup with a lot of energy.”

About: Precious Paws loves to take care of dogs of every kind. My friends rely on me to take care of their pets, walk and feed them. I currently work part time. I have time to take care of your fur babies. I'm available to work on weekdays after 2pm. On weekends anytime. I'm able to take your dogs for walk and I live close by to a dog park. Most of all your fur baby will have lots of fun

“Our cats were very well taken care of by Vanessa. She was able to drop in last minute, voiced any concerns quickly, and even made us feel great about our home. 10/10 would recommend!”

About: I love dogs. Friends call me the whisperer. I lost my Princess 2 years ago to cancer and I find that this is the best medicine for me. I love to travel so having another baby right now is not in the cards. Taking care of your baby is the next best thing. I have had people fly me out to Portland, California, and New York to pet sit for them. I absolutley love it. Some of the dogs I have cared for were sick or new family members. I love to take them on new adventures but only if Mom and Dad are okay with it. I also love to train, play, and hug on them. My only job is taking care of your dog, so I am with them the entire day and night. Sometimes they will go on a golf cart ride with me. My yard is not fenced in so your dog would be walked regularly. There are plenty of grassy areas next to and accross the street from me. If there is a schedule you have for the dog that is what will be followed.
“Elizabeth was the best! We received pictures and updates and our girl was so happy which gave us piece of mind. This our first time doing this we couldn’t be happier. Thank you.”

“Was very attentive to my cats needs and making sure they have food. Water. Medicine. Are comfortable. Ect! I was literally sick to my stomach before leaving my cats cause I was so worried. Ashley put those worries to ease with updates and pictures!”

“So nice and understanding! I'm an awkward person so I feel like I have to talk but she never put that pressure on me and just talked when I kind of make it more obvious that I was going to keep awkward talking xD.”

“My one-year old Havanese pup is an "attach dog" who suffers from separation anxiety. Toby quickly adapted to Melissa's patient and loving care during his recent stay during my daughter's wedding festivities. Communication was great! Highly recommend.”

About: I provide reliable, flexible in‑home care with the calm, experienced touch of a pet parent who has been around all kinds of furry pets since childhood. My babies at home include a reclusive and sweet cat, an cute energetic Frenchie, a friendly fluffy Maine coon-mix and a problematic but loving pug-chihuahua mix. This wide variety of pet personalities at home, gives me the ability to deal with all sorts of cuddly companions. I'm currently unemployed so my schedule is wide open and I can visit most days of the week at any time. I will make sure to visit as often as you like! When I visit your pets I will make sure to give them as much attention as possible. Walk's, feeding, litter changes, playtime and lots of love. I do not currently offer take-home pet sitting though.
About: I’m home all day/night pet sitting full time! Once I became a pet owner I never looked back. My fury child is my life. As a pet owner for 14 years I am very skillful in all areas of pet car from teeth brushing to tick picking. I have seen them grow old, loose their hearing, sight and ability to walk, but never once treated them like an old dog. I take seriously the need for touch by brushing their hair as often as possible and giving belly ribs when they turn on their backs for that special attention. My bed is their bed as they like to cuddle and feel safe and secure. I am a morning person and love feeling the brisk air as I watch pets take to the grass for their morning outing. I am home all day/night! I am available as early as 5:30am to receive your fury child into my home. I have plenty of space for them to play and I for one like to keep them in my site. Especially the little ones, they can get into so much. I have 4 dogs parks right in my community and each one is covered in grass. I love to walk, so your pet will never be taken off schedule. I have the best water-resistant floors in the event of any accidents, just wipe and go. I take work/life balance breaks so always free to play with your pets. I am currently home all day/night! I can feed twice a day or more, and I offer treats, walks and lots of play time. I can separate your pet, if need be. I have lots of sleeping space for those that are just tired little pups. My house is quiet, no children so no bother. I have a closed in balcony which provide a nice look out point for your pet. I have stuff animals and dog toys that I leave around the house for playmates as well.
“This is the 2nd time Sophia has watched my cat while I was away on a trip and she is phenomenal. She sends lots of pictures and specific updates. When I come home I can always tell my cat has been well cared for! I highly recommend booking her for your pet care needs 😊”

About: I've been blessed to have had dogs and cats most of my entire life. This is the first time I haven't had my own dog and I miss her daily. Pet sitting fills a void in my heart and I will do everything to ensure your pet is happy, healthy and well taken care of. I recently relocated back to California from Lake Lure, North Carolina. My entire community in Western NC was devastated by Hurricane Helene and I was evacuated and returned home near my family. I have enjoyed all of the amazing dogs and animals I have had the pleasure of sitting in the past through Rover.com. Now that I am back in CA I would like to continue my work with animals. I am a responsible caring person who loves animals and am currently available to help with your pets in Santa Maria, Santa Barbara, or Santa Ynez Valley. I would never trust a client's dog off a leash. Your animals will never be left alone and always escorted on their walks, unless otherwise told by the owner. Your pets will enjoy the comforts of their own home and be safe while you are away.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Fruitland Park
Nicole stepped in to assist with our dog during a family emergency where I had to travel out of state at the last minute. Without hesitation she took care of our very particular Lacey - walks to the pond close by, and tackled the process of feeding Lacey - which is not easy - but handled it like champion! We are forever grateful for Nicole’s help and we will reach out to her in the future as our dog walking needs arise. AND she was kind enough to bring us ice cream treats 🍦

Jennifer went above and beyond for us. When someone else bailed for one of the two visits we needed, Jennifer stepped up and provided a second visit at the last minute. She was exceptionally pleasant during the meet and greet, and the dogs loved her. She will definitely be requested again.

So thankful Tyson was available to help us with our pooches while our family was traveling. We were able to enjoy our vacation with our minds at ease while Tyson dropped in to our home where he provided the best care and fun for our boys! Tyson’s an awesome communicator and just a super nice person. I hope the next time we are traveling we are lucky enough to find him able to help us again! Thank you so much Tyson!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
