“I cannot say enough about how great Berkley was. She went above and beyond while dropping in on my cats. Berkley took extra care in making sure the cats were happy and cared for. I received plenty of videos and pictures of all 3 of my cats while I was away. Made me feel at peace knowing they were so well cared for while I was out of state. I would absolutely use Berkley again!”

“Lori was incredible! Leaving us lots of pictures and reviews for the day. We couldn't of found anyone as perfect as Lori. We will definitely be using her in the future”

“This was our second time using Jodi, and today we needed two drop-in visits. She was punctual for both, communicated clearly, and sent thoughtful updates with photos each time. My dog can be particular about her routine and quirks, and Jodi handled everything with patience and confidence, never made it feel like a hassle. I came home to a relaxed, happy pup (well as much as a Frenchie can be ha!). Consistent, reliable, and caring: thanks, Jodi! Looking forward to booking more.”

“Melissa is so kind and thoughtful. She takes care of my fur babies that I have no trouble leaving them. She’s wonderful. I’d recommend her for any job. She goes up and beyond. Thanks”

“I really appreciate the kind attention that Nicole showed .y pet border collie. I am a first time rover user, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Nicole to come to your home to mind your pet in your absence. The other Nicole stood apart washer excellent communication. I give her 5 starts!”

“Joanna took great care of our cat, Henry, while we were away. She was reliable, caring, and even came on extra days to see him. It gave us great peace of mind knowing Henry was well taken care of. We came home to a happy, healthy cat, and we couldn't have asked for a better pet sitter. I would definitely recommend Joanna to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and compassionate to care for their pets!”

“Holly did a great job with my boxer. I went in for surgery and was worried for the care of my boxer and Holly did job which left me to take care of myself. Definitely hiring her again”

“Nicole stepped in to assist with our dog during a family emergency where I had to travel out of state at the last minute. Without hesitation she took care of our very particular Lacey - walks to the pond close by, and tackled the process of feeding Lacey - which is not easy - but handled it like champion! We are forever grateful for Nicole’s help and we will reach out to her in the future as our dog walking needs arise. AND she was kind enough to bring us ice cream treats 🍦”

“I could tell once I came home my dogs (2 big 65 lbs boys) were super happy and relaxed after Ernest's visits. He is great with communication and I feel has proven to be very dependable. You can see he loves dogs and dogs love him. I look forward to working with him again in the future.”

“Nikki did everything we asked and more. We will definitely use her again when we travel. We have one cat that hides from everyone and the very first day she was at the house, she sent a picture of her petting that cat. She is a “cat whisperer” for sure.”

“I can’t say enough good things about Mahaila. From our very first meet and greet, it was clear how much she genuinely loves animals—my girls warmed up to her right away, which never happens! She was attentive, patient, and incredibly thoughtful every step of the way. While I was away, she kept in consistent contact, sending updates and the cutest pictures—my dogs looked so happy and relaxed, which gave me such peace of mind. It’s hard to trust someone else with your pets, but Mahaila made it easy. I’ve never felt more confident leaving them in someone else’s care. She’s officially our go-to now, and I’m so grateful we found her!”

“Teri was terrific with our little man. We are visiting Florida so was unsure how it would work in our rental but it was great! She even gave him a new toy! Will definitely request her again when we need good care for Deuce.”

“Hailey was amazing! I was able to relax the whole time I was away. She was prompt and went above and beyond to hang out and play with my dog. Seeing all the pictures each time made me so happy! Definitely recommend!”

“Misty came by for a third meet and greet with Mia and we went over feeding instructions and the walking route for her morning post breakfast walk. Mia recognized Misty and was wagging her tail. Misty was good with Mia and there were no problems walking, or coming in the house. Misty was on time, even for early morning visit which was appreciated. Thanks!”

“I cannot recommend Jessica highly enough! She took such wonderful care of my Betty Boop, stopping by three times on Wednesday to let her out in the yard and spend quality time with her. This is our second Betty watch. Jessica is incredibly responsive, answering questions quickly, sending updates and photos throughout the day, and putting my mind completely at ease while I was away. Which helps a tremendously as Betty and I don't often spend time apart, ha! Her availability has been a lifesaver. You can tell she truly loves what she does, and even more importantly, she truly loves the animals she cares for. Betty Boop came running to greet me, happy and content, clearly having enjoyed all the attention and yard time. Reliable, kind, communicative, and so much more, she's the real deal. If you're looking for someone you can trust with your furry family member, look no further!”

Jennifer went above and beyond for us. When someone else bailed for one of the two visits we needed, Jennifer stepped up and provided a second visit at the last minute. She was exceptionally pleasant during the meet and greet, and the dogs loved her. She will definitely be requested again.

So thankful Tyson was available to help us with our pooches while our family was traveling. We were able to enjoy our vacation with our minds at ease while Tyson dropped in to our home where he provided the best care and fun for our boys! Tyson’s an awesome communicator and just a super nice person. I hope the next time we are traveling we are lucky enough to find him able to help us again! Thank you so much Tyson!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
