“My dog daughter loves being with Angie and her husband. They take care of her as if she were her family. They allowed her to sleep with them and made her feel happy with games and walks. I would really book again and I recommend that if you want your furry ones to feel at home that you do it too. Pd. Thank you for all the photos and videos during her care.”

“Hugh watched my little lotus for two nights and made me feel completely at ease about leaving him for the first time. Very thankful for Hughs love of dogs and opening his home. I will definitely be bringing Lotus back!”

“Stefhany and Jean did an amazing job taking care of our little dachshund!! I was a little nervous to leave him with a sitter, but they were awesome! They would send me pictures everyday and I saw that he was taken care of, so my worries disappeared. Thank you again, and we will be back!”

“Alia is a great person who puts your dog 1st no matter what!! She has so much knowledge, understanding and empathy. I feel so blessed to have such a great sitter for my dog, Zoe. Thank you so much Alia!! LeslieAnn”

“Katherine took care of Buster while I was out of town. Buster suffers from bad anxiety and does not travel well. Katherine’s care allowed Buster to remain in a familiar environment and familiar faces. I could tell he was sad to see her go. I will definitely reach out to Katherine in the future to care for Buster.”
“Keliecathran is so caring and inclusive with our girls. She makes them feel comfortable and welcome, and they love to be with her dog, Coconut, too. They will be staying again, soon.”
“First time using Susan to watch my cat and it was great! She's very gracious and any trepidation was put to rest after meeting her. Great communication. Highly recommended!”

“Elisa did an amazing job watching my Beagle. She sent videos of their time together which was very thoughtful. Thanks so much for taking great care of her. Will definitely book again when needed.”

“June has a tremendous amount of love for the furry friends she takes care of. Our cat Tucker adapted very well to her home. He was treated like a king while he was in her care. June sent videos and pictures at least once a day, sometimes twice. Her pictures brought me peace of mind so I could enjoy time with our family. I highly recommend June. Thank you, June!”

About: I have lots of experience with big animals and small old and young and I also understand that they all can have different needs at different stages of life and I can help with that. I work Monday through Thursday so my Friday and weekends are free to help. I can do early morning walks mid and and evening times too depending on the needs My home is pet proof I do have animals of my own and they love it when new friends come over to play. I do pet sit for friends when they have to go out of town. If you are more comfortable with me coming to you. I always respect your house and fur baby just like my own and keep things clean
“This was our first stay with Charles and everything went very well! He was a great communicator with sending updates and asking questions in order to make our pup’s stay go as smoothe as possible and ease any concerns I had. We will definitely book again!”

“We had to leave our two sweet boys, Bogey and Moose, over Christmas, and Gage & Annie made the whole thing feel like a cozy family vacation for them instead of just boarding. From the meet & greet to pickup, they were so thoughtful and easy to communicate with — quick responses, super flexible on timing, and always double-checking details like arrival times. They sent daily updates with adorable photos and videos: the boys playing fetch, getting belly rubs and snuggles at night, hanging out in their own spare room for quiet time, and even some special Christmas surprises like a stocking and new toys! They only take two dogs at a time so everyone gets tons of personal attention, and it really showed — my boys were happy, calm, and clearly spoiled with love and play. The updates kept me smiling the whole trip and made leaving them so much easier. When I picked them up, they were relaxed, excited to see me, and looked like they’d had the best time. If you want your pups to feel like part of the family while you’re away, Gage & Annie are the real deal. We’re already looking forward to booking them again! Highly recommend — thank you for making our Christmas trip worry-free and giving our boys such a special stay!”

“If you're looking for someone to trust with your pup, definitely recommend Bill & Krista! Bill was so kind and great to work with. And by the sounds of it (confirmed with pictures) our anxious Mara Bear was living her best life while we were out of town. Will definitely be using them again!”

“This was the first time we ever used Rover and we were so happy with the care Diana and her husband gave our dogs!! She was very accommodating to the last minute changes we had to do and she always sent updates of our pups (pictures and videos)! The dogs seemed so happy when we picked them up!”

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
