Since. My wife’s passing, I am alone & retired. Looking to share some time with dogs again. I live in a courtyard villa that is a wall protected playground. My house is dog friendly, just waiting to share time with your little furry one.

It’s important to know a dog’s habits, health issues and social likes & dislikes. Encouraging a meet & greet is key to getting off to a good start before the sit date. You & your pet deserve to learn what they’re getting into, familiarize with my home, and space, as well as to get to know each other. It’s not always a perfect fit, so it’s good to be assured ahead of time and address any concerns.

I love stimulating a dog’s interest. Good instincts about when a dog wants loving attention and when it wants to be left alone are skills I bring to the table. I like to win a dog’s confidence as soon as possible. Let him/her sniff around, explore outdoors and reassure them that they’re safe with me.This helps them accept me faster as well as removes any separation anxiety.

For 60 years my wife, Kathy (Recently deceased)) & I have welcomed dogs in our lives. For the past 8 years we’ve enjoyed furry friends through Rover as“MOM & POP’S PET SITTING SERVICE.” Top Rover Reviews. I am starting anew on my own through Rover as “PAPA’S PET SERVICE.” Sorry, I don’t sit cats. look forward to sharing time with your little doggy guy or girl some time soon.❤️🐶

What a pleasant experience with Hugh! Ladybug clearly enjoyed her stay. Hugh was communicative and genuinely enjoyed sharing time with the doggies. Highly recommend!
Mr. Hugh Dermody is a natural with dogs. He and the late Mrs. Dermody have always been very devoted to their fur babies. Anyone who leaves their dog with Hugh will surely be comfortable. Hugh will reassure that your dog will receive the best care possible. You'll never have to worry because Hugh's house is clean and is completely set up to accommodate your wonderful fur baby.
Hugh and Kathy (aka. Mom and Pop's) have been lovingly caring for small to medium fur babies for 8 years running. Now that Kathy has passed on to the next life Hugh must rename their pet sitting service but rest assured the same great service remains. Hugh has a nice size walled in backyard with pet friendly door for the pets to use at their leisure. Also, Hugh has been a life time dog owner and loves taking care of them.
Hugh takes care of your dog as if it was his own. I've seen how happy the dogs are when they stay with him, making themselves right at home. Since he's a retiree, he spends all day with your dog, so your pet is not only well cared for, but also happier. I highly recommend Hugh's pet care while you travel for your peace of mind, and your pet's too!
