“Such a pleasure to deal with her from the very beginning, and I had peace of mind from there on. She continued to contact me throughout the eight days and give me updates and pictures and videos. I would certainly use her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for wonderful care for their beloved pet.”

“Magdaliz is excellent dog-sitter. She took care of my two little dachshund babies. They did wonderful with her and were happy when I got them. Also she is so warm and kind. Lovely person. I recommend her 100%.”

“I am very happy with the care Olga provided for my dog; she was kind, affectionate, and attentive from start to finish, and Rocco looked very happy and comfortable with her. Knowing that he was in good hands gave me peace of mind. I would undoubtedly entrust Rocco to her again, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an attentive and reliable pet sitter!”

“They were great!! I was so nervous about leaving my puppy because I have never left her with anyone before. They took very great care of her and sent plenty of pictures. I would highly recommend.”

“Denise took good care of my sweet girl. Her dog Casey and Bubbles got along great. Denise took lots of pictures and sent them to me while I was away which helped alot especially when you miss and worry about fur baby. I recommend Denise to anyone looking for a sitter and I will be using her again in September.”

“Migdalia did a great job taking care of my little Yorkie Shamrock while I was out of town. My dog is shy with new people. He does not want to meet strangers and would run away. She knew what to do and quickly won him over so he was comfortable with her. My dog would sit in her lap at night while she was watching TV. She was able to take him on walks during the day. I would highly recommend her for your pet care needs.”

“We are so glad we found Marina! We decided to try Rover last minute to board our dogs before a trip and her profile immediately stuck out. She was professional, gave our dogs great care and kept us updated throughout. We were able to really enjoy our time away without having to worry about how our dogs were doing. We would use her again and again to watch them! She also gracefully dealt with our very active puppy who presents her own set of challenges! She was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. We really can’t say enough good things! Thanks again Marina!”

My currently have 4 dogs that range from a little Chihuahua to a big Newfoundland. Since I am at college I miss the companionship of having a dog around. I am a very responsible and caring person and would make sure your dog has its walk and bathroom time if I have to house sit or if they stay with me I will make sure they are cared for with love and attention and they will have a good stay. I enjoy going on walks so I will make sure that is always done. I am very trustworthy with your pet, they will be in good hands.

About: I have been caring for dogs since I was about 10 years old. I've grown up with dogs of all sizes and understand that every dog has its own unique personality and needs. As lifelong dog lovers, I'm committed to providing a safe, loving, and comfortable environment where your pup will be treated like part of our family. Whether it's walks, playtime, cuddles, or sticking to your dog's routine, I'll make sure they receive the same care and attention we'd want for our own pets. I work from home and will be there to take care of your puppies. I let them run in the yard, but keep them in the a/c throughout the day. Your dog's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priority. My home is a clean, safe, and loving environment where every dog is treated like family. I take the time to learn each dog's routine, personality, and any special needs so they feel comfortable and secure while you're away. I provide plenty of supervision, exercise, playtime, and affection, and we'll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind. I understand how important trust is when leaving your pet in someone else's care, and we're committed to giving your furry family member the same love and attention we'd give our own.

I am so grateful for them and for their wonderful care for our girl. We would highly recommend them to anyone. About: I am a huge animal lover who grew up on a horse farm in MA and competed with and cared for all our animals and friends pets! I’ve owned and cared for almost every kind of domestic(some wild) animal from emus to donkeys. I worked as a vet tech and have a degree in Animal Science from NMSU! I still have my childhood horse of 20 yrs, 18 chickens, and 2 sweet dogs🙂 I’m a PATH certified horseback riding instructor as well. Animals have always been my biggest passion in life and I love taking care of them and watching them thrive🙂 I’m currently home with my 4 year old daughter, while my husband is working and my son is in school. We adore our 18 pet chickens, 13 yr old lab mix and 2 yr old PekaPom that live at our home. I’m home most of the day, only leaving for 30 min drop off/pickup from school during the day and a few hours in the evening when the kids are in sports. About 2 hrs is the max im gone during the week. I have a fully privacy fenced half acre home where my chickens have a big coop and dog kennel run and our lab mix and PekaPom(neutered males) are able to get their energy out and enjoy free run of the house. I currently can only take smaller, neutered, well behaved dogs who are friendly, but I can care for other dogs in your home🙂
“Shorty just loved his visit with Patricia and her family! Without hesitation I would recommend their services! From the beginning Shorty was completely comfortable and I knew he was in good hands. Paula”

“I recently left my dog with Erica, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. From the moment I booked the service, the communication was excellent. Erica was incredibly friendly, professional, and passionate about caring for pets. I was provided regular updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind knowing my furry baby was in good hands. King seemed happy and well-cared for when I picked him up, and he had clearly enjoyed his time there. I highly recommend Rover to anyone looking for reliable and loving pet care. I will be using Erica's services again in the future!”

About: I grew up with dogs all my life. I appreciate what they do for me. I have owned dogs of a variety of sizes Big (Labradors - Sassie and Flounder), Cocker Spaniel (Cleo), Basset Hound (Ginger), Terrier (Kush), and Pomeranian (Foxy). I learned by caring for these dogs that the most important thing is to identify each dog's individual needs by paying attention to how they are feeling and how they interact with me and the other dogs. I personalize my care for each dog. I am experienced with: - puppies as well as elder dogs and all ages in between. - administering medications as needed. - personalized feeding schedules. - personalized walking schedules and outdoors time. - crate trained or not. I am currently a stay at home wife who has plenty of time to take care of dogs up to 40 lbs. My home is pet friendly, with doorway gates to make sure that each dog has a safe place to eat and enjoy their stay at my home. My schedule is flexible and can be changed and updated on an as needed basis, I have a back yard and a safe sidewalk that is easily accessible outside my front door. My back yard has grass and a screened in porch for those days when it is comfortable for dogs to be outside.
About: My expertise include training puppies and adult dogs, which entails learning fundamental obedience, socializing, and house-training procedures. Understanding animal behavior and body language is also important. Patient care skills include dispensing medications, providing mobility support, and understanding prevalent age-related diseases and how to manage them compassionately. Certifications and training include CPR and first aid. I feel that effective communication with pet owners or relatives of those in care is critical for assessing any requirements, providing updates, and responding to any concerns as soon as possible.Being consistent and adaptable to shifting schedules or needs can make not just your life, but also your fur baby's life, less stressful. My name is Olivia and I am currently in school full time and have plenty of flexibility to adhere to any of your schedule preferences. Ragnar, a German Malinois, and Riley, a German shorthaired pointer, are my two adventurous fur babies. I make every effort to have a consistent schedule. Every day, I aim for at least one hour of vigorous exercise and consistent training for obedience. We love to play fetch, go on hikes and to swim in the warmer months.

Samantha took great care of my 2-year-old chocolate Lab, Milo, while we were away. It was such a relief knowing he was in good hands. She kept us updated, and it was obvious Milo was happy and well cared for. I would definitely trust Samantha to watch him again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter! Thank you, Again Julie

Kim, thank you so much for you and wonderful family taking such good care of Niles! I was so pleased to hear about how much of a good boy he was the entire time and I was even amazed how quickly he warmed up! I can tell Niles had an amazing time! I appreciate that you kept in touch with me and even sent me some photos! It really put me at ease. I am eternally grateful, thank you! <3

Jodi was absolutely fabulous with our pups! Judging by how tired they were after we picked them up and from the pictures I think they had a great time! Jodi is a wonderful communicator and provided updates and pictures throughout the stay. She took our dogs for walks and was the perfect caregiver for our dogs. I am sure we will be back!

My experience with Denise was more than 5 stars, she looked after my two Maine coon's for a week and she was very understanding, gentle, and took very good care of them, her house is very pet friendly and I will recommend her to everyone in my area, she sent photos of my kitties, and kept them fed and happy, if I could give above 5 stars I would 😊

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
