About: I grew up with dogs all my life. I appreciate what they do for me. I have owned dogs of a variety of sizes Big (Labradors - Sassie and Flounder), Cocker Spaniel (Cleo), Basset Hound (Ginger), Terrier (Kush), and Pomeranian (Foxy). I learned by caring for these dogs that the most important thing is to identify each dog's individual needs by paying attention to how they are feeling and how they interact with me and the other dogs. I personalize my care for each dog. I am experienced with: - puppies as well as elder dogs and all ages in between. - administering medications as needed. - personalized feeding schedules. - personalized walking schedules and outdoors time. - crate trained or not. I am currently a stay at home wife who has plenty of time to take care of dogs up to 40 lbs. My home is pet friendly, with doorway gates to make sure that each dog has a safe place to eat and enjoy their stay at my home. My schedule is flexible and can be changed and updated on an as needed basis, I have a back yard and a safe sidewalk that is easily accessible outside my front door. My back yard has grass and a screened in porch for those days when it is comfortable for dogs to be outside.
“Lenise is amazing. I know my labs are a lot to handle and she was noting but great. They were there 4 nights and were treated as they were her own. She sent pictures and videos and updates daily . She got them bones too. We will be using her for all our future pet sitting needs!”

“We are so glad we found Marina! We decided to try Rover last minute to board our dogs before a trip and her profile immediately stuck out. She was professional, gave our dogs great care and kept us updated throughout. We were able to really enjoy our time away without having to worry about how our dogs were doing. We would use her again and again to watch them! She also gracefully dealt with our very active puppy who presents her own set of challenges! She was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. We really can’t say enough good things! Thanks again Marina!”

“They were fantastic and took good care of my boys which many people shy away from just because they are so big. Very happy with the care and compassion that this family showed to my big bears. They even got a bath and that's not an easy task for any Bernese not that they don't like baths they're just big and fluffy and their fur is like a sponge. Thank you!”

“Renee took excellent care of Ben, thank you! We are nervous let parents who left our fur child away for the first time, and the experience was great. We will be asking again in May, for another trip. 🐕”

“Lisa and Scott treated Darla like she was their own. Allowed her to be who she is. Being a rescue I didnt know if she had interacted with other dogs. They were very good about introducing Darla to their dogs. HIGHLY recommend.”

“Bridget was really great. We are very happy that we chose her to take care of our puppy while we were gone. She send us daily updates and pictures. I definitely recommend her.”

“Jean and AL watched our Ophelia, and she had a wonderful time. She felt right at home with them and their pups, she loved playing with them and snuggles on the couch. I am so grateful for them and for their wonderful care for our girl. We would highly recommend them to anyone. They kept us updated throughout the day with how she was doing and even sent us pictures of her, it truly helped because we missed her dearly. Ophelia can't wait for her next stay with them, I just know it 🩷 she adores them💕”

About: I have owned dogs most of my life, big and small. I have pet sat for family, I take care of most of my own dogs needs (baths, teeth, hair and nail cuts) Most importantly I understand the guilt of having to leave your fur babies home while you are at work all day. I love the idea of being that person to bring some joy to their day and give the potty and exercise break they need. As well as lots of lovin! I have had hamsters, guinea pigs and chickens as well. My husband calls me the dog whisperer (bit dramatic) but most dogs tend to trust me right away I’ve had quite a few surprised people when their dog comes right over and gives me kisses seconds after meeting. I have trained several puppies basic commands as well. I look forward to hearing from you and creating bonds with more animals! <3 I am around most days so I have plenty of time to check in with your animals! I can be there anytime after 8:00am and availability is 7 days a week. I have a fenced in yard, 2 happy playful pups, 2 dog loving respectful kids. Extra dog crate if quiet breaks are needed. Sunbathing on the screened in lanai. Lots of toys and fun to be had.

“Our dogs loved their time with Kim and she definitely treated them as her own. She communicated frequently and always kept me up to date on how they were doing. My grumpy little man who hates walks even seemed to enjoy walking with her. Her home was cleaner than a lot of homes I've done meet-and-greets at. And she was flexible when I had to adjust my pick up time. Thank you so much Kim!”

“Sara was amazing! She kept me informed on how my girl was doing the entire time she was away from me? My Khloe had an awesome time and got to go on long walks, played with her children and got lots of cuddles in. Thank you so much for everything!”

I would love to give your pet lots of love. ❤️ We currently just have a cat and a dog in our home. Your dog would get walks and lots of potty breaks. Not to mention lots of love.
“Thank you, Laura (and Elvis!), for allowing Tuxy to be a part of your family. He's always so excited to get to your house and play with all his friends. And the pics show what a fun time he has, and how relaxed he is in your home. We will be back!”

“Kaylee was so friendly and accommodating. I had to book a last minute booking. She watched my two dogs and they were receptive to her. She loved on them and sent me photos. Very communicative. I appreciate her”

About: I am a very fun and outgoing person. Since I was born I have always had pets. I have had pets from a guinea pig to a huge dog. My currently have 4 dogs that range from a little Chihuahua to a big Newfoundland. Since I am at college I miss the companionship of having a dog around. I am a very responsible and caring person and would make sure your dog has its walk and bathroom time if I have to house sit or if they stay with me I will make sure they are cared for with love and attention and they will have a good stay. I enjoy going on walks so I will make sure that is always done. I am very trustworthy with your pet, they will be in good hands.

“Kelli is the best! We treat our pup like a daughter and Kelli did the same. We received pictures and updates daily. It was obvious our girl was very happy at Kelli’s home. She even gave her a bath! We will be using Kelli as our go to pet sitter anytime we leave town.”

About: I recently house-sat for a friend’s 8-month-old puppy, and it gave me a crash course in high-energy puppy care — potty training reinforcement, chew-proofing the space, multiple daily walks, and keeping a consistent feeding and nap schedule. Puppies at that age need patience and structure, and I made sure mine felt secure and stuck to her routine even with me as a new face in the house. I’m comfortable handling the unpredictability that comes with young dogs, from sudden zoomies to middle-of-the-night bathroom breaks. I work remotely on my laptop, which means I’m home most of the day and able to build pet care right into my routine — walks, feeding, and playtime happen naturally between tasks rather than being squeezed in around a 9-to-5. This flexibility also means I can offer consistent, reliable care without long stretches away from your pet, and I’m generally available for both daytime visits and boarding. Since I work from home, I’m able to keep a close eye on your pet throughout the day rather than leaving them alone for long stretches. I keep a calm, clean environment and stick closely to any routines or instructions you provide — feeding times, medication, exercise needs. I’m attentive to safety details like secure doors/gates and keeping harmful foods or items out of reach.

I couldn’t have imagined better people to have watched Zeus and Remi! The communication and updates on how they were doing were above and beyond! And they took the best pictures to let us know how they were doing or what they were up to! And we loved that so much!!! Such kind people!! I think I have to just come back because Zeus and Remi had such a good time.

I am very happy with the care Olga provided for my dog; she was kind, affectionate, and attentive from start to finish, and Rocco looked very happy and comfortable with her. Knowing that he was in good hands gave me peace of mind. I would undoubtedly entrust Rocco to her again, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an attentive and reliable pet sitter!

My experience with Denise was more than 5 stars, she looked after my two Maine coon's for a week and she was very understanding, gentle, and took very good care of them, her house is very pet friendly and I will recommend her to everyone in my area, she sent photos of my kitties, and kept them fed and happy, if I could give above 5 stars I would 😊

Katherine was AMAZING!! Great communication daily w/pics and videos of our cats’ antics lol Our cats got along great with her and her small dog. We were a little apprehensive as we were gone for a week and this was the first time we’d tried a Rover cat sitter, but it went splendidly! Will definitely use her again - 10/10 highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
