“Samantha is AMAZING .. I have 4 bassets.. they LOVE her. She's a blessing to me😍 leaving my hounds stresses me... I know Samatha follows my over protective instructions .. I'm thankful for her💖”

“My first experience with rover.com and I couldn't be more pleased. Denise immediately bonded to my very senior dog and he simply loved her. She was punctual. Kind. Provided complete communication and an abundance of photos. Because my dog is a senior and on meds, several issues arose which Denise immediately handled. She purchased some items for which I reimbursed her. She assembled a cage I ordered online. Again, she gave more than 110% and I found her completely trustworthy. Kudos to you, Denise!”

“Krystal was amazing! We booked somewhat last minute and she was quick to reply with a meet and greet. She sent updates while we were out of town with photos. We had a special needs kitty (one who is diabetic and likes to hide). Krystal was patient and able to give him his insulin without issues. Would highly recommend and would use her again for our next vacation!”

“I really can’t thank Osvaldo enough for being available and so kind when it came to checking in on my cats. I frequently have to travel and it’s hard to get people to stop by. It really gave me peace of mind that Osvaldo was so responsive and helpful. I will be booking him every chance I get and recommend you do too!”

“She was very accommodating to both our schedule and our cats needs. Communication was excellent, and she kept us updated on how our cat was doing while we were away. We truly appreciated the care and attention she provided. I would definitely recommend her and would gladly use her services again. Thank you so much! 🐾💕”

“Five-Star Review for Lori: A Lifesaver for Zeus and Apollo! I had the pleasure of using Lori's services for our two standard poodles, Zeus and Apollo, and I cannot recommend her enough. Finding someone you trust to take care of your fur babies can be challenging, but Lori made the process seamless, especially on such short notice. For two consecutive days, Lori was the superhero for Zeus and Apollo. She visited our home twice daily, ensuring that they were not just cared for but also given the attention and affection they deserve. Her dedication to their well-being was evident in how happy and calm Zeus and Apollo were upon our return. Lori's reliability, care, and genuine love for animals shine through her work. She went above and beyond, and because of that, I am looking forward to entrusting her with Zeus and Apollo's care in the future. A big thank you to Lori for being so amazing!”

About: Hi, I’m Bryanna! Caring for animals has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember 🐶 I’ve had three German Shepherds over the years, so I’m very comfortable with larger breeds, high-energy dogs, and everything that comes with them, including barking, whining, and big personalities. Because of that experience, I’m confident handling dogs of all sizes and energy levels. I’ve cared for: 🐾 Puppies (including training patience and high energy) 🐾 Senior dogs (gentle care, slower pace, extra attention) 🐾 Rescue dogs (understanding unique behaviors and needs) 🐾 Cats (including drop-in visits and care) For the past 4 years, I’ve been the go-to pet sitter for family and friends, helping with everything from daily walks to extended stays. I also currently volunteer with HCSO Animal Services, which has given me even more hands-on experience working with dogs of different backgrounds and personalities. This has really strengthened my ability to read behavior, build trust, and provide calm, attentive care. Weekdays: 🐾 Morning visits before work (7:00–9:00 AM) 🐾 Evenings fully available after 5:00 PM Weekends: 🐾 Fully available and flexible I do my best to accommodate different schedules, so feel free to reach out with your needs! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are my top priorities. When caring for pets in your home, I make sure to follow your instructions closely so your pet can stay in a familiar, stress-free environment. I stick to their normal routine as much as possible, including feeding schedules, walk times, and any specific care needs. I’m very attentive to behavior and surroundings, and I always make sure: 🐾 Doors, gates, and leashes are secure 🐾 Your pet is safe and comfortable at all times 🐾 Any changes in behavior are noticed and communicated With my experience owning three German Shepherds, I’m comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, including strong or high-energy breeds. I’m also experienced with puppies, senior dogs, and rescues, so I understand that every pet has different needs and personalities. For everyone’s comfort and safety, I do require a meet-and-greet with you and your pet before any booking. This helps ensure a good fit and allows me to understand your pet’s routine, personality, and needs. I treat every home with respect and every pet like my own. You can expect regular updates, photos, and open communication so you always feel at ease while you’re away.
“I would definitely recommend Michelle! She kept trying to get my shy cat to come out and play and eventually he did! I felt very secure and happy having Michelle take care of my fur babies!”

“Katherine was an excellent sitter! She visited on time, was a solid communicator, left treats out for our cats and made sure they were feed and watered while we were away. Highly recommend!! She has a wonderful spirit and clearly loves animals.”

About: I’ve always had dogs and cats of all sizes, and every animal is family to me. I work from home, so your babies will always be well cared for. My teenage daughter loves them just as much as I do. I work from home so your fur babies will be cared for around the clock. All of their needs will be taken care of in a timely manner and lots of time for cuddles! I do not have any animals currently as our “old man” recently passed over the rainbow bridge. I have a large fenced backyard for your dog to run around and play in. I love to go for walks and play with them in the backyard.
“I spent the day at Disney and Amanda did two drop in visits for me. She provided updates and lots of pics. Both of my dogs seemed very happy when I got home! I always feel nervous leaving them with someone for the first time but Amanda was great!”

About: Walks, Wiggles & Belly Rubs Guaranteed ! Every dog has a unique temperament — playful, shy, energetic, or relaxed — and I adjust my approach to match. I’m patient, observant, and committed to building trust so your dog feels safe and understood.” I work from home, which allows me to offer flexible scheduling and consistent supervision. Caring for animals is already part of my everyday life. With my own cats and bearded dragon, I follow structured routines, and I bring that same level of consistency and attentiveness to every client. I make sure pets fit comfortably into my schedule — not the other way around I focus on creating a calm, safe, and structured environment whether pets are in my home or theirs. I work remotely, which allows me to provide steady supervision and flexible care throughout the day. I follow routines closely, monitor behavior carefully, and provide consistent communication so both pets and owners feel secure.
“Sharon was awesome. She helped us out in a pinch and was great to our little guy. Communicative and answered me right back when I reached out during our trip. We already booked her again!!”

About: Hi! My name’s Kristen! I’ve been raising dogs since I was a child. I’ve cared for dogs as small as Chihuahuas to dogs as big as Border Collies, though I’m willing to care for larger dogs. There’s nothing I love more than caring for dogs! I’ve tended to walk dogs regularly (every 3-5 hours), and absolutely adore playing with them! Alongside my experience with dogs, I’ve also taken care of cats in the past, only for about a year. Throughout pet raising/pet-sitting days, I’ve raised 3 dogs and cared for 2 cats. I’m willing to care for any pet, no matter their temperament or energy levels. I look forward to pet-sitting/walking for you! I am currently seeking for a job, but that can only mean more time to spend with your pets! I am available whenever need be, and look forward to watching your fur babies for you :) In my home environments, I’ve always kept dogs’ and cats’ safety, as well as owners’ boundaries, my main priority. If there’s a part of the house closed off for the pet, for whatever the reason may be, I’m always willing to ensure that the pet and your home are safe. I’m very familiar with pet-proofing, as well. I.E - putting away shoes so they won’t get chewed up, or keeping trash lids on, so that there’s no mess. Again, pet safety and owners’ boundaries are extremely important to me and I will follow any rule you may have to make sure all is well in your home and around your pet.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Spring Hill
Karin was absolutely fantastic! Before the visits even began, she asked thoughtful questions to make sure she fully understood our dogs’ routines and needs. It was clear she wanted to be well prepared, and we really appreciated the care she took. She took such great care of our dogs and went above and beyond during her visits. One of our dogs wasn’t feeling well, and Karin kindly cleaned up after her twice without hesitation. That meant so much to us. She left detailed updates after every visit, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was obvious she genuinely cared about our dogs and treated them with love. We are so grateful for her kindness, reliability, attention to detail, and excellent communication. We definitely plan to book Karin again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and dependable Rover sitter!

She was very accommodating to both our schedule and our cats needs. Communication was excellent, and she kept us updated on how our cat was doing while we were away. We truly appreciated the care and attention she provided. I would definitely recommend her and would gladly use her services again. Thank you so much! 🐾💕

You’re the best as always! Amazing communicator, takes the best pics, and dogs behavior is much better! Star is playing fetch now, Ben is a better listener, the two of them are getting along nicely now, and the two of them are becoming more independent with opening the screen door to use the potty. We are so grateful for you!!

My mom cats love Kyra! She took care of them while I traveled internationally. She sent daily updates and photos, and even got reclusive kitty to warm up to her. This gave me comfort as I was worried about leaving them for 9 days. A minor emergency occurred at my house and Kyra notified me immediately so I could have it taken care of. I can’t recommend Kyra enough!

Krystal was great with my kitties! They’re been a little uncomfortable since we’ve moved and she made me feel so at ease while on vacation. She gave detailed updates and communicated with me daily. Thank you, Krystal for going above and beyond and taking such great care of my girls.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
