“This was our first experience with a drop in service and we couldn’t be more pleased. Samantha was awesome! She on time for every visit, received updates every time including pictures. She was accommodating when I needed her to come earlier a couple days due to work demands. Our pups loved her. I have already rebooked her. The Rover App is very easy to use also.”

“Osvaldo did a great job with my cats. They warmed up to him throughout the week and everything was taken care of while I was gone to my expectations. I will be booking him again. Thank you!”

About: Hello, my name is Breanna and I am a huge animal lover with experience caring for both dogs and cats. I enjoy spending time with pets of all sizes and personalities, and I love making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I also have experience fostering animals, which has taught me patience, adaptability, and how to care for pets with different needs. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, snuggling on the couch, or simply having someone nearby, I'm happy to provide the care and attention they deserve. My goal is to give you peace of mind while you're away by providing dependable, loving care and keeping your furry family member happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I work from home, which allows me to provide flexible scheduling and plenty of attention throughout the day. I'm also currently a nursing student, with in-person classes in Tampa on Tuesdays, I am normally gone from 4:00pm to 9:00pm. Outside of that, I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate drop-in visits, walks, and overnight care. Because I work remotely, your pet won't be left alone for long periods and will receive lots of love, companionship, and attention Your pet's safety, comfort, and routine are my top priorities. I provide care in your home so your pet can stay in a familiar environment with less stress. I'll make sure they receive plenty of love, attention, exercise, meals on schedule, and any other care they need. I'll also send regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away.
“She was very accommodating to both our schedule and our cats needs. Communication was excellent, and she kept us updated on how our cat was doing while we were away. “Karin was absolutely fantastic! Before the visits even began, she asked thoughtful questions to make sure she fully understood our dogs’ routines and needs. It was clear she wanted to be well prepared, and we really appreciated the care she took. She took such great care of our dogs and went above and beyond during her visits. One of our dogs wasn’t feeling well, and Karin kindly cleaned up after her twice without hesitation. That meant so much to us. She left detailed updates after every visit, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was obvious she genuinely cared about our dogs and treated them with love. We are so grateful for her kindness, reliability, attention to detail, and excellent communication. We definitely plan to book Karin again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and dependable Rover sitter!”

“Just got back from vacation and I was extremely happy with the care I got from Michelle taking care of my cat always updated me with pictures and text, thank you very much!!”

About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life, and I’ve always been very hands-on with the pet care at home. I am a trusted pet babysitter amongst my family. I value the pet’s mental health and happiness especially while their owner is away. I am a part-time college student, and I work at a catering company with a highly flexible schedule, so I can work around your needs. I try to encourage a stress free environment by sticking to your pet’s normal routine while you’re away, making sure that they’re happy and healthy, as they would be under your own care.
“My first experience with rover.com and I couldn't be more pleased. Denise immediately bonded to my very senior dog and he simply loved her. She was punctual. Kind. Provided complete communication and an abundance of photos. Because my dog is a senior and on meds, several issues arose which Denise immediately handled. She purchased some items for which I reimbursed her. She assembled a cage I ordered online. Again, she gave more than 110% and I found her completely trustworthy. Kudos to you, Denise!”

“Sharon was awesome. She helped us out in a pinch and was great to our little guy. Communicative and answered me right back when I reached out during our trip. We already booked her again!!”

To care for the pets in your home, I feed them, play with them, and keep a close eye on them to keep them out of trouble, as well as anything else that could possibly be needed.

“Alyssa did a great job with my dog, Bandit. Bandit is 13 years old and has some special needs. Alyssa took care of Bandit and he was a happy camper. I would happily use her again.”

About: I’ve always had a pet of some sort my whole life. Mostly dogs and cats but while raising 5 kids we’ve had hamsters, gerbils, a bearded dragon, ducks, snakes, Guinea pigs and once a hermit crab, lol. My husband and I are snowbirds traveling to Minnesota in the summer and Spring Hill from October to May. We own a house on 1/2 acre with a large fenced in yard. We have one elderly male chihuahua and a 1-year-old male Yorkie. I'm home all day as is my husband so someone will be with your pets at all times. No areas of our home are off limits to pets because they are people too! I can administer oral medication as needed but have no experience in injections but willing to learn. We have experience with elderly dogs and can carry outside for potty breaks as needed. Both myself and my husband are home full-time (retired) so someone will always be with your animals. We are available Monday through Friday 24/7. Thanks! I have a large fenced in backyard that pets have access to at all times. My Yorkie is still a puppy and is very playful and loves to have friends come over. The older Chihuahua tends to keep to himself. My husband loves to take walks with the dogs. Also, no area in our house is off limits to the animals which includes furniture and beds. We normally sleep with our dogs and yours are welcome to sleep with us too. Of course, if you prefer them to be kennelled we will do that for you too.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Spring Hill
We've asked Denise to drop in on our fur-baby several times now when we go away, she's very reliable and thorough and we couldn't ask for a better care taker to give us peace of mind while we're away. We highly recommend her and will continue to request her should we need cat care in the future. Thank you Denise!

She was very accommodating to both our schedule and our cats needs. Communication was excellent, and she kept us updated on how our cat was doing while we were away. We truly appreciated the care and attention she provided. I would definitely recommend her and would gladly use her services again. Thank you so much! 🐾💕

It's abundantly clear how much Sindri truly cares for animals. I hate leaving our elderly and slightly neurotic cat at home, but from the first meet and greet to the very thorough check-in updates, I was actually able to be out of town with minimal anxiety. Sindri's experience really shined with the photos, detailed description of the interaction, and quick responses for each visit. Thank you for taking such excellent care of our meatball!

My mom cats love Kyra! She took care of them while I traveled internationally. She sent daily updates and photos, and even got reclusive kitty to warm up to her. This gave me comfort as I was worried about leaving them for 9 days. A minor emergency occurred at my house and Kyra notified me immediately so I could have it taken care of. I can’t recommend Kyra enough!

Krystal was great with my kitties! They’re been a little uncomfortable since we’ve moved and she made me feel so at ease while on vacation. She gave detailed updates and communicated with me daily. Thank you, Krystal for going above and beyond and taking such great care of my girls.

Bradley did a great job looking after our cat Figgy while we were on a cruise. I was able to pop on my security camera from time to time when he was there and I could tell he was kind and caring to our old finicky friend. Will definitely use him again. Highly recommended

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Spring Hill. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
