“I really can’t thank Osvaldo enough for being available and so kind when it came to checking in on my cats. I frequently have to travel and it’s hard to get people to stop by. It really gave me peace of mind that Osvaldo was so responsive and helpful. I will be booking him every chance I get and recommend you do too!”

About: I have a genuine passion for animals and hope to become a veterinarian in the future. I currently work with dogs, which has given me hands-on experience understanding their needs, personalities, and behaviors. I’m patient, caring, and attentive, and I enjoy building trust with every pet I care for. I’m comfortable working with dogs of different ages and energy levels, and I’m always willing to give extra attention to young, senior, or nervous pets. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. I have a flexible schedule and can easily fit pet care into my daily routine. I’m available for regular visits and can work around your pet’s feeding, playtime, and care needs. I’m reliable, responsible, and committed to giving each pet the attention they deserve. I always prioritize the safety, comfort, and well-being of every pet I care for. In a client’s home, I carefully follow their instructions and routines to make sure their pet feels comfortable and secure. I keep their space clean, provide fresh food and water, and make sure doors, gates, and other areas are safely secured. I’m patient and attentive with every animal and always treat them with the same care and respect I would give my own pets.
“Sharon was awesome. She helped us out in a pinch and was great to our little guy. Communicative and answered me right back when I reached out during our trip. We already booked her again!!”

“We started off with a meet & greet and ended up chatting for quite a bit. I felt comfortable leaving my furbabies in Katherine’s hands. She dropped-in a few times and made sure the babies were happy and safe while I was away”

About: I have been a responsible for taking care of pets since the first grade, thanks to my parents instilling responsibility from a young age with pet ownership. Since then, family, friends, and neighbors have trusted me to take of their fur-babies when they cannot be included on family adventures. I am currently available 7 days a week to play, walk, stay over night, or feed your pet while you are living your best life. When taking care of a pet in a client's home, I make sure to follow all instructions of care while still providing all the love and care to your pet.
“Just got back from vacation and I was extremely happy with the care I got from Michelle taking care of my cat always updated me with pictures and text, thank you very much!!”

About: For the past 20 years, I've had the joy of owning and caring for three wonderful dogs, each with their own unique personality and needs. Through every stage of their lives—from playful puppies to their senior years—I learned the importance of patience, consistency, love, and attentive care. My experience has taught me how to recognize a fur-baby's individual needs, provide a safe and comfortable environment, and make sure they feel happy, loved, and secure while their families are away. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else's care, and I treat every fur-baby as if they were my own. I work full-time from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with Tuesdays and Saturdays off. Before work, I make time to care for my own dog by taking her outside, going for a walk, and spending quality time together. After work, we enjoy another walk, playtime, and plenty of attention. On my days off, I have a more flexible schedule and enjoy taking longer walks with my dog, playing with her, and keeping up with everyday household chores. I understand the importance of maintaining a pet's routine and making sure they receive the love, exercise, and care they need. Whether it's a walk, playtime, feeding, or simply providing companionship, I'm committed to treating every pet like part of my own family. When caring for pets in their own home, I treat them with the same love, patience, and respect that I give my own dog. I know that staying in their familiar environment helps pets feel safe and comfortable, so I do my best to keep their daily routine as consistent as possible. I'll follow your care instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, fresh water, medications (if needed), and plenty of affection. I also respect your home, keeping it clean, secure, and exactly as you left it. My goal is to provide dependable, compassionate care so your pets feel loved while you're away and you can have peace of mind knowing they're in good hands.
About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life, and I’ve always been very hands-on with the pet care at home. I am a trusted pet babysitter amongst my family. I value the pet’s mental health and happiness especially while their owner is away. I am a part-time college student, and I work at a catering company with a highly flexible schedule, so I can work around your needs. I try to encourage a stress free environment by sticking to your pet’s normal routine while you’re away, making sure that they’re happy and healthy, as they would be under your own care.
“Krystal was amazing! We booked somewhat last minute and she was quick to reply with a meet and greet. She sent updates while we were out of town with photos. We had a special needs kitty (one who is diabetic and likes to hide). Krystal was patient and able to give him his insulin without issues. Would highly recommend and would use her again for our next vacation!”

About: Ever since I was little my family has always owned some type of animal. We’ve owned 4 English bulldogs, a cat, a hamster and 2 ferrets. Now, I myself own a 1 year old miniature dachshund named Franklin. I love taking care of all animals and making sure they get the proper care they need and more. I currently work about 30 hours a week. My schedule isn’t the same every week so depending on what time and days I work, I set aside time to make sure I can come and take care of any pets that need it, whether it’s on my days off, or before or after work. In my clients homes all pets will have clean fresh water and will be fed given the directions of the owner. The pets will also get plenty of exercise whether it’s playing in their backyard or going on a walk. Along with playing inside with their toys. I also make sure that pets feel comfortable in their own home and will make sure they get lots of love and attention.

About: I've volunteered at a variety of animal shelters in Hillsborough/Pasco county walking dogs of all different sizes, shapes, and conditions. I really enjoying being outside with the animals and getting to experience all the different types of personalities dogs have. I'm only free on the weekends since I work the weekdays. That allows me to spend all the required time with no distractions to take care of your pet(s). Currently I cannot take any pets into my home. However, I was raised well and understand common scene so I will always respect the homes of my clients
About: I’ve taken care of quite a few animals since I was about 14 years old. Neighbors and friends have reached out to me, and I have never gotten a bad review! I have a few childhood dogs, but I just got my first puppy to raise in my own, as well! I can’t wait to get back into caring for these loves again!! I’m currently free, as I am applying for jobs! I’ve always wanted to care for animals, and I feel that this is the perfect way to start! I will make sure to give your babies all kinds of love and snuggles! Animals are my life, so I truly cannot wait to love on all of them!
“Syndney was FANTASTIC! She is the sweetest dog sitter and truly loves to do this! She was so responsive and attentive; it gave us so much comfort during a day-trip away. She watched 3 dogs at once at our house and she did it seamlessly. Each one of the dogs has a unique personality and Sydney made sure they were so well cared for. The most wonderful touch to her booking was a very thoughtful note, polaroid picture for memories, and doggy treats!! She is just so wonderful, we couldn't have asked for better!”

About: Hi, I'm Johnnie! I have a background in Human Services and Counseling, so attentiveness and genuine care come naturally to me. I've helped look after family and friends' pets and understand the trust it takes to welcome someone into your home. I specialize in house sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walking. I show up on time, send regular photo updates, and treat every pet like my own. Looking forward to meeting yours! 🐾 Your pet is my top priority throughout the day and even at night no matter what! If I eat your pet eats if I go out for a walk most certainly your pet will be walking with me! Your pet will always align into my schedule perfectly synced. In my home I only hope that I am provided a thorough explanation of what type of care and personality your pet has so that I may adjust myself accordingly. Having the supplies needed to care for your pet is also a huge relief and is appreciated. In your home (should you allow me to) caring for your pet in your home is right next to caring for your pet in the president's own house, I'll settle for nothing but giving my best for you and your pet.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Spring Hill
First time using rover. Ended up in a crisis why I was out of town and Michelle was quick to accept my request and get there. She was so communicative, helpful & proactive. I am in the middle of work trip and she thought of things I didn’t cuz I am so distracted. Truly saved my bacon! Absolutely going to use her again.

We've asked Denise to drop in on our fur-baby several times now when we go away, she's very reliable and thorough and we couldn't ask for a better care taker to give us peace of mind while we're away. We highly recommend her and will continue to request her should we need cat care in the future. Thank you Denise!

It's abundantly clear how much Sindri truly cares for animals. I hate leaving our elderly and slightly neurotic cat at home, but from the first meet and greet to the very thorough check-in updates, I was actually able to be out of town with minimal anxiety. Sindri's experience really shined with the photos, detailed description of the interaction, and quick responses for each visit. Thank you for taking such excellent care of our meatball!

My mom cats love Kyra! She took care of them while I traveled internationally. She sent daily updates and photos, and even got reclusive kitty to warm up to her. This gave me comfort as I was worried about leaving them for 9 days. A minor emergency occurred at my house and Kyra notified me immediately so I could have it taken care of. I can’t recommend Kyra enough!

Bradley did a great job looking after our cat Figgy while we were on a cruise. I was able to pop on my security camera from time to time when he was there and I could tell he was kind and caring to our old finicky friend. Will definitely use him again. Highly recommended

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Spring Hill. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
