“Samantha has come to check on my pets twice, both last minute (24hrs), and she was there to help out and care for my pups! Very communicative and sends me pics always! Thank you so much!! Absolutely recommended.”

About: For 2 years I’ve took care of my neighbors dogs by letting them out, feeding them and playing with them. I love animals and I grew up in a household filled with animals. I believe a dog is a humans best friend and I’d love the opportunity to get to know you and your animal! I currently work nights at publix as a grocery stock clerk. I am very flexible and will be able to let your animals out and care for them whenever you need. I would love your trust to take care of them. I take my dog milo for a walk everyday when I get home so that way he gets most of his energy out and then he will lay down and relax for a little bit before wanting to play. I feed him twice a day and give him a bath once a week.

“Osvaldo did a great job with my cats. They warmed up to him throughout the week and everything was taken care of while I was gone to my expectations. I will be booking him again. Thank you!”

“Cayla took the best care of our pups while we were away for a few days! We have a nearly 5 yo golden retriever and a 9 mo Weimaraner… he is our wild man! Along with their daily routine, she took time to play ball with them! She sent us pics daily! Cayla went above and beyond and we will definitely ask her to keep our pups again!”

“She’s an EXCELLENT pet sitter and I would highly recommend her for anyone who needs someone to take care of their fur babies while they’re away. ESPECIALLY if this is your first time using this service and are having a hard time deciding who to choose for the job.”

“Shana took very good care of all three of our dogs while we were visiting family out of state. It was very comforting knowing our dogs were in good hands while we were enjoying our vacation. We will definitely be a repeat customer!”

About: Animals have always been attracted to me and felt comfortable with me. I have a few months experience in a vets office and over 1 year now as a private pet sitter. I work part time at a brewery, and have plenty of availability to watch pets. I can come to your house multiple times throughout the day and even stay over night if that’s what you prefer 😊 I usually like to set up a meet & greet and take notes on each pet to have as much information about them before my stay.
About: With over 5 years experience working in a doggy daycare handling everything from playtime, feeding and everything in between! Experience with every breed from Yorkies to Great Danes! I currently have open scheduling for anytime throughout the day, 7 days a week to take care of all of your drop-in or dog walking needs! Willing to travel to you, and make your pet feel as safe and sound as they are with their own humans around. I believe all pets deserve to be treated with the utmost care and attention and to treat every cat and dog as if they were part of my own family! ❤️
About: Hi! I'm Renee. Within the last year and a half both of our English mastiffs have passed. They have such a great life with us though and completed our family! I really want to have a dog in the home (temporarily, of course) since we do not plan on getting another one quite yet. Our mastiffs were truly our babies are were treated like royalty. I am a stay at home mom so I am home all of the time! Perfect for a needy pup. Haha. We have a fenced in yard, plenty of space and a fun toddler who can keep up with their energy. Reach out to book! :) *must be good around kids* I am home all of the time! I am very flexible. I go to the gym in the mornings for an hour and then right back home. My home already had two very big dogs for a long time before they passed away. We have a whole spare room if your pup needed their space and a fenced in yard so they can potty without worrying about escaping. I love to spoil them and would LOVE to have them in my home! My heart would be so happy to hang out with a dog again since we aren't ready to get another one just yet.
“We just recently bought a 2nd home in Hernando Beach, FL. I don't really know my neighbors much. So I decided to use the Rover App. as I knew there was gonna be a couple days, that we were going to be gone most of the day. I found Krystal and I am sure happy we found her. She was so loving and caring of our 3 little yorkie girls. When she would drop in she would check in on the app. and when she was leaving she would check out. During her stay, she would let me know through the app. what each dog did, meaning letting me know how many potty breaks and what duties they did outside. She also let me know if they drank some water during her stay or how long of a walk they did. She would hang out with them and give them time to chill before she left. The best part I got so many loving pictures and video's of our girls during Krystal's drop in. She also did feed my girls a couple of times when we needed her too. She did such an amazing job and took such good care of our precious babies. Thank you Krystal, when we head down to the home again, I am sure I will be in contact with you to watch the girls.”

About: I don't have formal training, but I've spent years as a hands on dog mom (with a soft spot for cats too), so I know what it's like to care for a pet like they're family. I have a special place in my heart for senior and special/needs pets I understand the extra patience, gentleness, and attention to routine they need, and I'm happy to accommodate mobility issues, medication schedules, or slower walks. Your pet will get the same care and attention I'd want for my own. Flexible 7 days a week. Early mornings, late nights, whatever your pet's routine calls for. our pet's schedule is my schedule, 'll work around your schedule, not the other way around. Your pet's safety and comfort come first, always. I'll make sure they have a secure, calm space to relax in, stick closely to their normal routine, and keep a close eye on them the whole time they're in my care. Whether it's a senior pet who needs a little extra gentleness or a dog who just wants their favorite spot on the couch, I'll treat your home and your pet with the same care and respect I'd want for my own
“My first experience with rover.com and I couldn't be more pleased. Denise immediately bonded to my very senior dog and he simply loved her. She was punctual. Kind. Provided complete communication and an abundance of photos. Because my dog is a senior and on meds, several issues arose which Denise immediately handled. She purchased some items for which I reimbursed her. She assembled a cage I ordered online. Again, she gave more than 110% and I found her completely trustworthy. Kudos to you, Denise!”

“Our cat babies LOVE Samantha! The couple of times we’ve had to travel she’s done a great job at caring for them during in-house visits! Our boy Oliver is extremely anxious and avoids interaction altogether (not even friends and family get his cuddles!) - however, he is comfortable with Samantha and that speaks volumes on her ability to connect with our animals ❤️. Highly recommend her services!”

About: Hello! I’m a lifelong animal lover with a deep respect for all living creatures. I live in a spacious home on 1/3 acre with 2 securely fenced back yards ideal for pets to run, play and relax. I’ve been caring for various pets since I was 12. I’ve had fur babies my entire life (mostly Shih Tzus) and helped care for livestock on my grandparents’ farm. Over the years, I’ve taken care of many cats and just about every dog breed—from gentle giants like Saint Bernards to tiny Chihuahuas—and pets of all ages, from playful puppies to sweet seniors. I’m experienced with both short visits and extended care, having looked after pets anywhere from a single day up to two months, in both my home and my clients’ homes. I believe love, exercise, playtime, and structure are important for a pet’s happiness and well-being. Pet transportation is available as well. Most importantly, I’ll love and care for your pets as if they were my own. My goal is always to make them feel safe, comfortable, and truly at home. I can send daily photo and video updates to keep you connected. Contact me to discuss your pets needs and arrange a meet & greet. I set my own work schedule but my goal is to pet care full time so I’m now currently fully available all days and hours. I have a large and small fenced yards in a quiet safe neighborhood great for walks. Furry friends are welcome on my sectional and in my pool if approved. My home is peaceful and calming. Whether in my home or yours they’re my priority and will be safely and lovingly cared for exactly as you request.

About: I've volunteered at a variety of animal shelters in Hillsborough/Pasco county walking dogs of all different sizes, shapes, and conditions. I really enjoying being outside with the animals and getting to experience all the different types of personalities dogs have. I'm only free on the weekends since I work the weekdays. That allows me to spend all the required time with no distractions to take care of your pet(s). Currently I cannot take any pets into my home. However, I was raised well and understand common scene so I will always respect the homes of my clients

I show up on time, send regular photo updates, and treat every pet like my own. Looking forward to meeting yours! 🐾 Your pet is my top priority throughout the day and even at night no matter what! Cat parents share their Rover experiences - North Weeki Wachee
My mom cats love Kyra! She took care of them while I traveled internationally. She sent daily updates and photos, and even got reclusive kitty to warm up to her. This gave me comfort as I was worried about leaving them for 9 days. A minor emergency occurred at my house and Kyra notified me immediately so I could have it taken care of. I can’t recommend Kyra enough!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
