About: Hi! My name’s Kristen! I’ve been raising dogs since I was a child. I’ve cared for dogs as small as Chihuahuas to dogs as big as Border Collies, though I’m willing to care for larger dogs. There’s nothing I love more than caring for dogs! I’ve tended to walk dogs regularly (every 3-5 hours), and absolutely adore playing with them! Alongside my experience with dogs, I’ve also taken care of cats in the past, only for about a year. Throughout pet raising/pet-sitting days, I’ve raised 3 dogs and cared for 2 cats. I’m willing to care for any pet, no matter their temperament or energy levels. I look forward to pet-sitting/walking for you! I am currently seeking for a job, but that can only mean more time to spend with your pets! I am available whenever need be, and look forward to watching your fur babies for you :) In my home environments, I’ve always kept dogs’ and cats’ safety, as well as owners’ boundaries, my main priority. If there’s a part of the house closed off for the pet, for whatever the reason may be, I’m always willing to ensure that the pet and your home are safe. I’m very familiar with pet-proofing, as well. I.E - putting away shoes so they won’t get chewed up, or keeping trash lids on, so that there’s no mess. Again, pet safety and owners’ boundaries are extremely important to me and I will follow any rule you may have to make sure all is well in your home and around your pet.
About: I grew up helping my grandparents take care of their rescues. Feeding, bathing, and walking them as well as vet trips. Because of growing up around animals I now have two dogs and three cats. I currently work 40 hours a week, however because my schedule has me working nights, and it’s a set schedule, it’s easy to help someone care for their pets. Growing up around dogs and dog sitting for a friend, I know how to treat dogs and know that all dogs are different. I’m willing to stick to a schedule if need be.
“Janicia was a blessing! I recently moved into a new area and she graciously took on my last minute request. She took great care of my cat and provided pictures (which highlighted my day each time). I would recommend her to anyone looking for someone to watch their beloved pets!”

“Shana took very good care of all three of our dogs while we were visiting family out of state. It was very comforting knowing our dogs were in good hands while we were enjoying our vacation. We will definitely be a repeat customer!”

About: Animals have always been attracted to me and felt comfortable with me. I have a few months experience in a vets office and over 1 year now as a private pet sitter. I work part time at a brewery, and have plenty of availability to watch pets. I can come to your house multiple times throughout the day and even stay over night if that’s what you prefer 😊 I usually like to set up a meet & greet and take notes on each pet to have as much information about them before my stay.
“Sam was a wonderful pet sitter and I highly recommend her to car for your fur babies. We had an out of town family emergency and she stopped by for a meet and greet with our German Shepherd who is very energetic and a big boy. She also feed and watered it outdoor cats and dwarf goats. Sam sent me pics during each drop in visit and refilled our duck/ chicken water bowls. She is a lovely and reliable sitter.”

“Miranda put my mind at ease knowing my dogs would be well cared for. This was my first time using a pet sitter. I loved the happy photos I received each day. I will absolutely hire Miranda again!”

About: I have decided to not work the 9to5 jobs anymore and to do what I'm passionate about, furbabies. I am not new to taking care of doggies and cats, just new to advertising. I've grown up with dogs. I have been fostering and rescuing for 10 years. I have experience with the bouncy happy dogs, the shy and skittish, the ones whom you have to earn their trust.Furbabies are my passion. Each fur baby has their own unique personality and quirks. I will follow the owners instructions on how they want their fur baby cared for. When I'm watching the fur babies it's all about them
About: I grew up with dogs all my life. I appreciate what they do for me. I have owned dogs of a variety of sizes Big (Labradors - Sassie and Flounder), Cocker Spaniel (Cleo), Basset Hound (Ginger), Terrier (Kush), and Pomeranian (Foxy). I personalize my care for each dog. I am experienced with: - puppies as well as elder dogs and all ages in between. - administering medications as needed. - personalized feeding schedules. - personalized walking schedules and outdoors time. - crate trained or not. I am currently a stay at home wife who has plenty of time to take care of dogs up to 40 lbs. My home is pet friendly, with doorway gates to make sure that each dog has a safe place to eat and enjoy their stay at my home. My schedule is flexible and can be changed and updated on an as needed basis, I have a back yard and a safe sidewalk that is easily accessible outside my front door. My back yard has grass and a screened in porch for those days when it is comfortable for dogs to be outside.

About: Hello! I’m a lifelong animal lover with a deep respect for all living creatures. I live in a spacious home on 1/3 acre with 2 securely fenced back yards ideal for pets to run, play and relax. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Spring Hill
Karin was absolutely fantastic! Before the visits even began, she asked thoughtful questions to make sure she fully understood our dogs’ routines and needs. It was clear she wanted to be well prepared, and we really appreciated the care she took. She took such great care of our dogs and went above and beyond during her visits. One of our dogs wasn’t feeling well, and Karin kindly cleaned up after her twice without hesitation. That meant so much to us. She left detailed updates after every visit, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was obvious she genuinely cared about our dogs and treated them with love. We are so grateful for her kindness, reliability, attention to detail, and excellent communication. We definitely plan to book Karin again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and dependable Rover sitter!

You’re the best as always! Amazing communicator, takes the best pics, and dogs behavior is much better! Star is playing fetch now, Ben is a better listener, the two of them are getting along nicely now, and the two of them are becoming more independent with opening the screen door to use the potty. We are so grateful for you!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
