“I would definitely recommend Michelle! She kept trying to get my shy cat to come out and play and eventually he did! I felt very secure and happy having Michelle take care of my fur babies!”

“Kiara did a fantastic job caring for my 6 indoor cats, 2 requiring meds and 2 on special dietary food. She went above and beyond to make sure everyone got fed (a challenge, since most of them are very shy & run & hide) and got properly medicated. She sent texts & pictures at both feedings, am & pm, every day which put my mind at ease being away from my cat family. I would highly recommend her and I will most definitely be using her again. I gave Kiara a tip (which she so deserved) when I saw her to return my house key after returning from my trip. THANK YOU Kiara!!!”

About: I have taken care of both my own and all the neighborhood pets since I was very small! I am an avid walker ready to wear your baby out for miles and miles a day if needed or just walking a slow few houses away if distance is a struggle. I know each sweet soul is different and deserves all the special attention to them so am flexible with whatever needed to make your pet happy and comfortable! Tough wild puppies and old grumpies in need of medications or treatments, I will handle them all! I currently travel too often to have my own pets so use my time at home to love on others! When I am pet sitting i am usually working from home those days with full access to your pet or half days so I can make sure im available full time. My home is free reign to your animal and they can treat it as their own. So no worries to couch cuddlers or bed sleepers! Runners and bolters will be closely watched and contained. For elderly mobility issue animals any stairs or hard to navigate issues will be blocked off. So safety is directly attended to!
“Ellen's a wonderful sitter. Trustworthy & dependable. I love the pics & updates showing what my cat's up to & how well my cat's doing. It give me peace of mind. Thank you so much for your care Ellen!”

About: I’ve always had a pet of some sort my whole life. Mostly dogs and cats but while raising 5 kids we’ve had hamsters, gerbils, a bearded dragon, ducks, snakes, Guinea pigs and once a hermit crab, lol. My husband and I are snowbirds traveling to Minnesota in the summer and Spring Hill from October to May. We own a house on 1/2 acre with a large fenced in yard. We have one elderly male chihuahua and a 1-year-old male Yorkie. I'm home all day as is my husband so someone will be with your pets at all times. No areas of our home are off limits to pets because they are people too! I can administer oral medication as needed but have no experience in injections but willing to learn. We have experience with elderly dogs and can carry outside for potty breaks as needed. Both myself and my husband are home full-time (retired) so someone will always be with your animals. We are available Monday through Friday 24/7. Thanks! I have a large fenced in backyard that pets have access to at all times. My Yorkie is still a puppy and is very playful and loves to have friends come over. The older Chihuahua tends to keep to himself. My husband loves to take walks with the dogs. Also, no area in our house is off limits to the animals which includes furniture and beds. We normally sleep with our dogs and yours are welcome to sleep with us too. Of course, if you prefer them to be kennelled we will do that for you too.

About: Hi, I'm Johnnie! I have a background in Human Services and Counseling, so attentiveness and genuine care come naturally to me. I've helped look after family and friends' pets and understand the trust it takes to welcome someone into your home. I specialize in house sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walking. I show up on time, send regular photo updates, and treat every pet like my own. Looking forward to meeting yours! 🐾 Your pet is my top priority throughout the day and even at night no matter what! If I eat your pet eats if I go out for a walk most certainly your pet will be walking with me! Your pet will always align into my schedule perfectly synced. In my home I only hope that I am provided a thorough explanation of what type of care and personality your pet has so that I may adjust myself accordingly. Having the supplies needed to care for your pet is also a huge relief and is appreciated. In your home (should you allow me to) caring for your pet in your home is right next to caring for your pet in the president's own house, I'll settle for nothing but giving my best for you and your pet.

“Five-Star Review for Lori: A Lifesaver for Zeus and Apollo! I had the pleasure of using Lori's services for our two standard poodles, Zeus and Apollo, and I cannot recommend her enough. Finding someone you trust to take care of your fur babies can be challenging, but Lori made the process seamless, especially on such short notice. For two consecutive days, Lori was the superhero for Zeus and Apollo. She visited our home twice daily, ensuring that they were not just cared for but also given the attention and affection they deserve. Her dedication to their well-being was evident in how happy and calm Zeus and Apollo were upon our return. Lori's reliability, care, and genuine love for animals shine through her work. She went above and beyond, and because of that, I am looking forward to entrusting her with Zeus and Apollo's care in the future. A big thank you to Lori for being so amazing!”

About: Walks, Wiggles & Belly Rubs Guaranteed ! Every dog has a unique temperament — playful, shy, energetic, or relaxed — and I adjust my approach to match. I’m patient, observant, and committed to building trust so your dog feels safe and understood.” I work from home, which allows me to offer flexible scheduling and consistent supervision. Caring for animals is already part of my everyday life. With my own cats and bearded dragon, I follow structured routines, and I bring that same level of consistency and attentiveness to every client. I make sure pets fit comfortably into my schedule — not the other way around I focus on creating a calm, safe, and structured environment whether pets are in my home or theirs. I work remotely, which allows me to provide steady supervision and flexible care throughout the day. I follow routines closely, monitor behavior carefully, and provide consistent communication so both pets and owners feel secure.
About: Besides growing up with many animals, I am well versed in the animal industry working with animals of all kinds. I have years of experience on farms, ranches, in veterinary hospitals, boarding facilities, pet stores, doggy daycares, and even owned my own pet courier business. From animal caretaker to animal program manager, I have experience with many different animals big and small (see photos) of all kinds of temperaments. I have dedicated time into successfully training German Shepards and working with dogs of all sizes, behaviors, ages, breeds, and needs. From chihuahuas to kangals I can handle any dogs in a great manor. I am very experienced in administering medications and handling emergencies. I am also Pet CPR and First Aid Certified. I’m currently available Monday-Friday from 6am-4pm to come give your fluffy babies some love! Being a mom, I would like to be able to bring my toddler with me if that’s something you’d be comfortable with. With that, I will give your pets the 1:1 attention they need and ensure safe boundaries. Whether your fur baby needs extra exercise or needs a quiet day inside, I can easily accommodate your pet’s specific needs. I am happy to travel to keep your fur baby comfortable in their own home and their own daily routine.

“I never leave my fur babies and I was so scared to. Katherine was amazing! She came an extra time each day and cared for our babies as if they were her own! I won't use anyone else! Amazing woman!”

About: I recently moved, but before that I used to dog sit and walk dogs for neighbors, family, and friends pretty often. I’ve always loved being around dogs and spending time with them. I’m comfortable with different sizes and personalities and can help with walks, feeding, playtime, or just keeping them company and making sure they’re cared for while you’re away. I’m available after 12pm during the week and have open availability on weekends. I’m flexible with walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting, and I’ll always make sure your pets get plenty of attention and care. I always want pets to feel comfortable and safe while their owners are away. I’ll follow any routines or instructions you leave for me and make sure your pets get lots of attention, playtime, walks, and care. I’m patient with animals and will treat your pets like they’re my own.
About: I have been around dogs my whole life and have been taught how to care for them since a young age.ive also helped train my dog with some basic tricks I work part time in retail in the morning a couple days a week so im available everyday after noon and some days in the morning. Safety is my top priority when it comes to caring for your pets! Your fur-baby is your baby and you want someone to take proper care of them. Every one's house is different its kinda hard to make a blanket statement on here especially when I'll also be dog walking but where ever I am, if I am with your dog you can trust they're health and safety is the top priority.
About: I have always had pets in my life! From turtles & fish to guinea pigs & mice to dogs & cats! I currently have two dogs, Mia and Brax! I rescued both of them as wee little puppies, so I understand the responsibility and work they can be (and trouble)! My childhood dog, Diesel, passed in February of 2018, so I also understand the precautions and limitations senior dogs can have. I currently work from home, so I am available for their needs throughout the day. I do have a two year old daughter who loves animals and is very gentle, but she is at preschool from 9am -5pm every weekday. I know the stress of trying to find someone you trust to take care of your fur babies while you're away, and I want to be that person that you trust and that they love to see! I will make sure they are comfortable, safe, happy and well taken care of :) I work from home, so I have open availability to fit your dogs needs. Potty breaks and play time can be often as often as they need! I am very cautious when it comes to taking pets outside. I always make sure there are no other animals outside before they are taken out, always leashed because I do not have a fenced yard yet (hoping to get one soon). I have two dogs that love to play and will make your baby feel at home. If you dogs need some space from time to time or get overwhelmed easily, I have no problem locking my dogs in my bedroom for a little while to give them space.
About: On top of pet sitting and dog walking prior, I have volunteered at a humane society, giving me experience with a variety of pets and temperaments. I'm a current college student, so I have plenty of time outside of classes to take care of your beloved pets as needed whenever you may need me. To care for the pets in your home, I feed them, play with them, and keep a close eye on them to keep them out of trouble, as well as anything else that could possibly be needed.
About: One on one k9 pet trainer, retired law enforcement k9 handler. Have owned dogs (large- small), African Gray parrot, cats, horses and loved them all. I am presently retired. A fair price, the cost of fuel and the ability to scoot home to tend to my own pets if need be. I am unavailable on Thursdays and Fridays. Putting the clients mind at ease knowing their precious pets are comfortable in their environment and their home is safe so they can enjoy elsewhere
“Cayla took the best care of our pups while we were away for a few days! We have a nearly 5 yo golden retriever and a 9 mo Weimaraner… he is our wild man! Along with their daily routine, she took time to play ball with them! She sent us pics daily! Cayla went above and beyond and we will definitely ask her to keep our pups again!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Weeki Wachee with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
