“Chris & Joann were wonderful, they treated our puppy (5 mos old) like their own. They are wonderful dog people, we couldn’t be more pleased. Our pup enjoyed their two dogs and their fenced in yard and screened in deck area. Our pup is only 6# so I was really worried about leaving him, but their two dogs were great with him. I highly recommend them, especially for smaller dogs, and I will be using them again and again. So happy to have found them!”

“This was the first time we ever used Rover and we were so happy with the care Diana and her husband gave our dogs!! She was very accommodating to the last minute changes we had to do and she always sent updates of our pups (pictures and videos)! The dogs seemed so happy when we picked them up!”

“Jasmine took care of our dog very well when we visited South Carolina during Thanksgiving Holidays. At first our dog was upset that we were leaving him, but Jasmine made him comfortable during his stay. Also she shared pictures and kept us updated. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone because Lucky had a great time staying with her.”

“Jessica was very accommodating to Bella’s and my needs. She sent pics to let me know that Bella was doing fine, and didn’t have an issue with Bella being active around her young child. Would definitely book her again in the future! She’s awesome!”
“Samantha did an excellent job taking care of our fur babies. She sent us pictures and videos almost daily to reassure us tgat they were doing well. We would definitely recommend her.”

“Hugh watched my little lotus for two nights and made me feel completely at ease about leaving him for the first time. Very thankful for Hughs love of dogs and opening his home. I will definitely be bringing Lotus back!”

“Cesar is the best!!!! Finding someone I trust with my working dogs is no small task, so I don't give recommendations lightly. From the start, Cesar was incredibly accommodating and took the time to understand their routines, expectations, and care requirements. What impressed me most was that he struck the perfect balance between being kind and being consistent. Cesar didn't let them get away with their usual shenanigans, maintained their structure, and clearly understood how to handle dogs that are used to having jobs and boundaries. Throughout their stay, I received plenty of photos and videos, which gave me peace of mind and let me see how much fun they were having. It was obvious they were getting both mental and physical enrichment, not just being watched. The biggest endorsement I can give is that I picked up two very happy, relaxed, and thoroughly worn-out dogs. They came home content, well cared for, and clearly enjoyed their time with him. For anyone looking for a sitter who goes beyond basic pet care and truly understands dogs, especially working dogs, I would not hesitate to recommend Cesar.”

“Very caring and loving sitter. The dogs were really well kept. She was extremely patient and went above and beyond with my geriatric dog, which was greatly appreciated.”

“I had a great experience leaving my dog in Sandra's care. The week before I went out of town we did a meet and greet at her house. The meet and greet completely reassured me that my dog would be left in good hands. Sandra supplied daily photos. I imagine that it was like a vacation for my dog! I would have zero hesitation booking boarding with Sandra in the future.”

About: I have always had pets, from small dogs and cats to big guardian dog breeds. I've also dealt with puppies, senior dogs, or pets with special health needs. I provide dependable, personalized care because I know every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away, so you can have peace of mind. I take the time to get to know each pet, whether that means keeping up with an energetic puppy's play schedule, giving extra patience and gentle care to senior pets, or helping shy or anxious animals feel comfortable at their own pace. I always follow your care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise routines, and any special preferences. You'll receive regular updates, photos, and messages so you always know how your pet is doing. I believe communication is just as important as great pet care. Whether we're going on walks, playing, cuddling, or simply keeping your pet company, I'll treat them with the same care, respect, and attention I'd want for my own. My focus is on creating a safe, fun, and stress-free experience for both you and your pet. My schedule is flexible for walks and feedings if necessary. My schedule is completely open if extended time is needed for longer walks, play time and belly rubs 🥰. I have an open floor plan which allows your fur baby to roam free with plenty of space. I also have space for a crate when needed. I have a friendly dog for him or her to play with.
“Blanca loved her stay with Toni and enjoyed playing with another big dog. She was really treated like part of the family and I know today she misses the attention. I will definitely use Toni again because I know my girl was safe and happy there. Highly recommend!!”

“Kelly made Zeus very comfortable and got plenty of exercise. We will definitely book with Kelly in future. I have a neighbor that will be reaching out as soon as I give her the information. Thank you Kelly.”

About: I've taken care of animals my entire life. Cats, dogs, birds, iguanas, ferrets and a few farm animals too. I was involved in an animal rescue group for several years, fostering many animals who had health issues. I firmly believe that all animals deserve love, shelter, safety, and food. I fall in love with almost every animal I meet! Even chickens! When I'm taking care of an animal, they get a majority of my attention and affection. I do some work from home so it should blend well. I like to meet with the owners and pets a couple of times before to be sure the animals are familiar with me and learn any important information for each pet. I try to follow the owners routine so that the pets are not confused.
“Macy was well taken care of and seemed happy and healthy when we picked her up. We appreciated Molly and her update on Macy while we were away. It even appeared that Macy was brushed out when we arrived. I would use Molly again next time I’m in Florida.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Beverly Hills
My girls had a wonderful time with Christopher and his wife. Both dogs came home happy and confident. Especially my Becky who is nervous and reactive, she came home so happy and confident I’m thinking we should arrange regular pup sitting just to keep this going. I got regular updates and pictures of how the girls were doing the whole time I was away. Would definitely recommend using them!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
