“Diana has been wonderful to work with and is always very accommodating and super responsive. She communicates clearly and is quick to address any questions or concerns. When she sent a photo of our dog wearing a walk collar, we asked for clarification and she immediately reassured us that it was removed after walks and completely understood our concern. That level of care and communication means a lot to us. We couldn’t recommend her more and feel very confident leaving our dog in her care.”

“Jessica was very accommodating to Bella’s and my needs. She sent pics to let me know that Bella was doing fine, and didn’t have an issue with Bella being active around her young child. Would definitely book her again in the future! She’s awesome!”
“Samantha was amazing with my fur babies while I went out of town! She sent regular updates and pictures and my pups clearly had a great stay! Would definitely book with Samantha again in the future if I need a dog sitter!”

“I knew from the first day that we met that Nickie would be in good hands. Adrienne and Steve went above and beyond to make my Nickie feel at home. I enjoyed the pictures they sent while I was on my cruise. I would very highly recommend them for your pet. In fact, I'm booking another reservation with them.”

“Samantha was a great dog sitter. She opened her house to our Dog Max within a short notice. She has a great heart with dogs and our dog Max loved staying with her along with the family. Max was well loved for and we really enjoyed the updates Samantha would send. Definitely reaching back ou to Samantha when we have to head out.”

About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 15 years. I speak fluent Spanish! I’ve raised my dog Zoso since I was 14 when she was a puppy, she recently passed away at 17 years old so having other dogs around makes me so happy. I also have two cats who are young, orange, and friendly, and I own horses, so I’m experienced with pets of all sizes and personalities. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, and care for their pets, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I am an expert on giving medication too from having a senior dog for many years! What sets me apart is my reliability, genuine love for animals, and the peace of mind I give owners knowing their pets are safe, comfy and happy. I spend most of the time at home working remotely so they will get all my attention! I currently work part-time from home, which gives me plenty of time and flexibility to care for pets during the week and weekends. I’m available for walks, drop ins, and boarding. I love spending time playing with animals, giving them attention, and making sure they feel comfortable while their owners are away. I provide a safe and comfortable environment where pets are treated like my own. I have a private yard linked to trails that I walk daily, and I’d love to bring your dog along for exercise and fresh air. Most importantly, I always follow the owner’s instructions closely to make sure every pet feels secure, comfortable with routine, and well cared for!
“I have 2 springer spaniels and they adore their visits with Renee and her family. I love their philosophies as pet sitters and I know my fur babies are in good hands here when I'm away. Happy to have found them!”

“Kelly made Zeus very comfortable and got plenty of exercise. We will definitely book with Kelly in future. I have a neighbor that will be reaching out as soon as I give her the information. Thank you Kelly.”

“I was so anxious to leave my dogs for a 9 day trip as I've never left them before. Lorraine was amazing with them and they came home happy and ready to snuggle up with my husband and I again. She sent videos and photos every morning evening and throughout the day! They were very well taken care of and my anxieties were calmed through this entire experience! I am absolutely recommending her to everyone I know who needs a sitter!!! ??”

“Sandra was the best! Sending pictures and updates everyday! Butters had the best care possible. I will book again in the future. Thank you very much providing best care.”

About: I grew up with dogs all my life. I appreciate what they do for me. I have owned dogs of a variety of sizes Big (Labradors - Sassie and Flounder), Cocker Spaniel (Cleo), Basset Hound (Ginger), Terrier (Kush), and Pomeranian (Foxy). I learned by caring for these dogs that the most important thing is to identify each dog's individual needs by paying attention to how they are feeling and how they interact with me and the other dogs. I personalize my care for each dog. I am experienced with: - puppies as well as elder dogs and all ages in between. - administering medications as needed. - personalized feeding schedules. - personalized walking schedules and outdoors time. - crate trained or not. I am currently a stay at home wife who has plenty of time to take care of dogs up to 40 lbs. My home is pet friendly, with doorway gates to make sure that each dog has a safe place to eat and enjoy their stay at my home. My schedule is flexible and can be changed and updated on an as needed basis, I have a back yard and a safe sidewalk that is easily accessible outside my front door. My back yard has grass and a screened in porch for those days when it is comfortable for dogs to be outside.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
