“Crystal is amazing! My dog had a wonderful time with her. Very good at keeping me updated with pictures. I would definitely recommend her and I will be requesting her again.”

“Melissa and co. were absolutely the best!!! We had a critical family emergency and they were so kind, helpful and most importantly wonderful with our dogs. God bless you and your family Melissa! Thank you so much!”

“I left my two frenchies with Tish for the first time for 3 nights. I could not have been more pleased with the way she took care of them. She sent lots of photos and made sure they were comfortable with their surroundings. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is as picky as I am with who my babies stay with. I will definitely book with her again”

“We got photos of our pup and lots of updates. She also got along with Cassandra’s pup for play time. Cassandra gave her the attention she needed while we were away. Thank you for taking care of our baby”

“Best dog boarding experience ever! I have a rescue puppy with really bad separation anxiety and I always get so worried when I leave her. But Patrigna made my puppy feel at home in no time and kept me updated all throughout the day with pictures and messages of how everything is going. Definitely would recommend her to anyone who’s looking for someone to watch your fur child. Easily 5/5!”

“Joseph & Reanaleena were great & we are definitely planning on bringing Auggie back to stay with them. He had lots of play time & they sent us frequent updates which we always appreciate!! Very responsive as well, would definitely recommend.”

“Jessie came to the rescue after another sitter we had booked (Allison Y) canceled on us, just 15 hours before our week long trip. She responded to our request immediately and offered a meet and greet at our home since she was out running errands. The drive was out of her way - way above and beyond. It was obvious when we met her, she loved animals. She was genuine, kind, friendly and asked all the appropriate questions. Because we were leaving the next morning, she offered to take our pup with her to save us some time in the morning. She administered medication for our dog Mel and made sure she was comfortable with her 2 dogs. Mel took to her 2 dogs right away with no issues, enjoying runs in their large fenced in backyard. Jessie gave us peace of mind during our trip, sending pictures and videos throughout the day. Pictures of Mel were proof that she was happy and having a good time. We were actually worried Mel would not want to come home. We highly recommend Jessie and will be using her again!”

“We are so grateful to Anolan for taking such amazing care of our two dogs, Maisy and Hendrix, this past weekend while we made a last-minute trip to New Orleans for the birth of our niece. From the very beginning, Anolan was incredibly kind, patient, and responsive. She sent us updates and pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind knowing our doggos were both happy and in good hands. Maisy and Hendrix absolutely loved her (and her sweet dog, Benji, who they got to go on walks and play with!), and they were clearly spoiled with love and treats. Anolan’s boyfriend was also great with them, and it was heartwarming to see how comfortable and relaxed our pups were in their care. We ended up being delayed in picking them up, and Anolan was nothing but understanding and gracious about it. We would 1000% recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving dog sitter. Thank you again, Anolan—you’re the best!”

“Such a great sitter for my dog! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! She took lots of pictures of my dog and he seemed very happy and well cared for. She took him of many walks and kept me updated on him.”

“The absolute best dog sitters in the world! Wonderful people and the only ones we trust with our dog. Truly such a wonderful experience knowing our dog is so happy whenever she’s with Kelli and Joseph!”

“We cannot thank Erica enough for the care she gave our fuzzy family member. She kept us updated with photos which our son loved getting throughout our time away. Without a doubt we would use Erica again!”
“I didn’t worry about Jax while in her care. She’s very knowledgeable about dogs and I would recommend her to anyone. She accommodated Jax on short notice and gave regular updates.”

“We had been fortunate enough to find Georgia and she was great with our senior doggie. Georgia was very sweet and caring. Her 3 dogs are very sweet as well. She has a nice backyard for the dogs to go outside and uses gates and dog bed areas to make the dogs comfortable & safe as needed. Our senior doggie enjoyed his visit with Georgia and her dogs . We brought his bed, his blanket, food & treats for his visit.. We will choose her again..”

“We are very happy with the care and the time he spent with Max he’s very attentive and you can tell he’s really serious and enjoys being a pet sitter. He sent pictures and kept us informed about how Max was adjusting We would highly recommend him”

About: Dogs have always been a central part of my life. As a longtime dog owner, foster volunteer, and animal rescue advocate, I understand that every dog has unique needs, routines, and personalities. As the proud dog mom of Scotty and Pancake, I understand how important it is to know your pets are safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, including senior dogs, rescue dogs, and pets requiring extra patience and attention. Through fostering and volunteering with rescue organizations, I've helped care for dogs during transitions, administered basic medications, managed feeding schedules, and provided plenty of exercise, enrichment, and affection. I currently share my home with two small dogs and know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. Whether your dog needs a comfortable place to stay, regular walks, drop-in visits, or extra cuddles while you're away, I'll treat them like part of the family and keep you updated with photos and messages for peace of mind. I currently work full-time Monday through Friday, so my pet-sitting schedule is best suited for weekend boarding, evening drop-in visits, and dog walking. I’m also happy to discuss weekday boarding depending on your pet’s routine and how long they are comfortable being home during the day. When I’m home, dogs in my care are treated like part of the family! We enjoy plenty of playtime, time in our fenced yard, walks, couch cuddles, and relaxing together. I do my best to maintain each pet’s normal feeding, potty, and bedtime routine so they can feel comfortable and settled while away from home. I also provide regular photo and video updates throughout their stay because I know how reassuring it is to see that your pet is safe, happy, and having a great time! Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have experience caring for my own dogs, foster dogs, rescue dogs, senior pets, and dogs with different personalities and energy levels. I understand that every dog is unique and I take the time to learn their routines, preferences, and any special instructions you provide. As a longtime rescue volunteer and foster, I have experience helping dogs feel comfortable in new environments and working with pets who may need a little extra patience and reassurance. In my home, dogs enjoy a clean, pet-friendly environment with plenty of attention, supervision, and opportunities for play and exercise. I have a fenced yard for safe outdoor time and two friendly small dogs who are accustomed to being around other pets. Introductions are always done carefully to ensure everyone feels comfortable. When caring for pets in a client's home, I respect your routines and home as if it were my own. I follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, exercise needs, and any household guidelines you provide. My goal is to make your pet feel secure, loved, and as comfortable as possible while you're away.
“Such a good experience for our puppy. You could tell he had a lot of fun and was happy with them while we were away. She kept us updated and sent us lots of picture. Would highly recommend !”

“Kristin was great, will definitely use her again. She was very flexible as our flight was changed twice. Our boy seemed to have a blast with her dog and precious little girls. Her home is clean and pet friendly.”
“Carol and Scott were incredible. They gave daily updates with photos, and were extremely responsive. They took the best care I could ask of, especially since we have a large dog. It was great they had a backyard with other dogs for our dog to play with. They both are very sweet and loving people who will take great care of your animal. Would very highly recommend them to anyone on this app. If I could give more than five stars I would. Thank you Carol and Scott and will definitely be using them again.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Fleming Island
Sarah was absolutely amazing with our senior dog, Charlee 🤍 Leaving an older dog can be stressful, but she made the entire experience feel so easy and reassuring. She was incredibly patient, gentle, and attentive to Charlee’s needs (medications), making sure she was comfortable, well cared for, and getting all the extra love senior pups deserve. We really appreciated the updates and knowing she was in such kind, capable hands. It gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. I would 100% trust Sarah again and highly recommend her to anyone. Thank you for taking such great care of our sweet girl 🐾

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
