My once lively Labrador is a bit more sedate at 11. My family has always taken care of friends’ dogs and served as a dog friendly destination to visiting guests. I only take on dogs when my schedule allows. I have a fenced yard and a very friendly senior lab that is happy to share her home. I also have a pool which is great if your dog likes to swim to stay cool.

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was a teenager. I currently watch over my boyfriends moms Rotties when she’s at work or out of town. I have 2 Dobermans my self and a beagle. I love dogs of all sizes :) Pet care is a big part of our daily routine! I walk my dogs every afternoon, whether it’s at Ed Austin Regional Park or just around our neighborhood. My boyfriend works from home, and I work full-time near the beaches, so we tag-team caring for the pups throughout the day. About: I’ve been a dog lover all my life and until recently been an owner of a small dog for 16 + years but unfortunately have lost him about a year ago to old age. Now I have retired and looking for something to do with my spare time. If you are looking for someone to take care of your small pet in a safe , cosy environment. You are at the right place. I am retired as I mentioned earlier and would be taking care of your fur baby like I took care of my own fur baby for all those years I have a nice fenced yard for your little fur baby to run around and have fun. I don’t like to keep your pet outdoors all the time in Florida heat like most places . They will be indoors with me. Our Boy, Clay, a young Vizsla. Spent 17 days at Barbara’s. We were afraid he wouldn’t want to come home, he was having such a great time! Lauren and her pup Brew were excellent hosts for our high energy dog Luna! The two dogs got along like best friends and Lauren was professional, communicative and clearly cared about our dog and worked to get her (high!) energy out. My little boy came back clean and soft with these adorable Polaroids pics of his 9 days away! Each day I had pictures and a little note of what they were doing for the day. This brought me so much peace while I was away. The true test of any dog is if they will go on a starvation strike the first few days. Morkie felt so comfortable with her that he ate more food than when he stayed with my sister! They even let him sleep on their bed with him. He was so loved!
