About: * Lifelong dog owner * Raised a litter of seven puppies * Experience with doodles, retrievers, labs, poodles, and mixed breeds * Comfortable with puppies and senior dogs * Comfortable following medication schedules and special feeding instructions * Frequent photo and video updates * Flexible with routines and exercise needs I have a hybrid work schedule so I work from home half of the week. We go to the dog park and walks daily. Sometimes going to the beach for fun! I have a fenced in yard with two doodles! They’re very friendly and fun. I’m a bit of a homebody so I spend a lot of with the pups.

“This is the second time my dogs have stayed at Randy and Mimi's and I'm sure they will stay there again in the future. I love to see all the frequent photos and videos, and they reassure me that my dogs are happy and comfortable. I would reccomend this sitter to anyone looking for someone to care for their pups!”
“We feel so lucky to have found Laura. We do not ever worry about our dog when she is in Laura’s care. The photos and videos that Laura constantly shares prove that she is treating our dog like her own every single day. We have been back server al times and will continue to book with her anytime we need.”

“Richard was the best! He went above and beyond all of our expectations. We were a little bit nervous at first because this was our dog’s first stay away from us, but Richard eased all of our nerves! He surpassed all our expectations. Not only did he take amazing care of our dog as if he was his own, but also sent lots of photos/videos throughout the week so that we never felt too far away. He even noticed some allergy hotspots and gave him a soothing bath to help. We would highly recommend Richard!”

“Lindsey was great with my boys an I appreciate her working with my crazy schedule. I would definitely recommend Lindsey an use her in the future. Thanks for taking such great care of my boys.”

“Kristall was great with my 2 dogs! I would not hesitate to leave them with her again! Even my mama’s boy that gets separation anxiety when I leave him had a great time.”

“Caroline and her mom were great with my dog Lili 😄😄😄😄😄they sent a pic, and they were able to give her a medication that needed to be giving without food. She also was able to accommodate me picking her up later than scheduled in the night 😬 thank you so much for watching Lili!!!”

“Chrissy took fantastic care of our dog while we were away for the weekend. She sent updates and photos, and had excellent communication. 10/10 would return and recommend!”

About: I worked in the dog grooming industry for 20 years. I've bathed and walked every kind of dog! I love animals and at my age walking is all I'm up for now lol I'm retired but still need the love of a dog. The variety I had at the grooming shop has left me wanted it again. I have 2 small older dogs whom I've had since they we're puppies. But they sleep a lot and aren't up to walking anymore... So this is a happy alternative for me. I'm a strong 68 yr old woman who would take great care in walking your dog 😊
“Ms. Beverly has the sweetest spirit. She's very responsive and sent us pictures while we were out of town. I would definitely recommend her. Oreo loves her.🩷”

“Eddie was so amazing with tyler, He made me feel safe leaving tyler with him over the night. Tyler wasn’t lonely he also made a new friend to play with was definitely a plus for us !”

“Tannia and Chris were great taking care of Ollie. They sent photos throughout the days showing how content he was. I would definitely recommend Tannia watching your fur babies when you can’t take them along.”

“Kaitland is the best! She has watched our pup a few times now and she has been amazing. I never worry when we drop our little guy off at her place. Thanks, Kaitland!”

“This was our first stay with Amber and she was great! She sent photos daily and reassured me everything was going well with Tucker’s stay. Amber was accommodating and a great caregiver. Thank you for taking such great care of Tucker!”

“This was the first time I’ve used a Rover to care for my dog Oaklie. Brenda, the rover, was absolutely fantastic. She took fabulous care of Oaklie taking him on walks, playing with him and cuddling with him. He really enjoyed her fenced in yard as well. He also got along very nicely with her dog and her daughter. She kept me informed of how Oaklie was doing each day. She sent me numerous pictures and I could see how happy he was. Brenda was very trustworthy with him and took great care of him. I am definitely using her again.”

“Jessica was great!! She sent lots of pictures and kept in touch to let me know how my dog was doing on a regular basis. My dog often can have anxiety, but she was very comfortable with Jessica and her pets. I would absolutely use her again in the future!”

I cannot say enough good things about Hannah. She accommodated a very last minute request to board one of my dogs, was extremely communicative, sent lots of photo and message updates, was willing to let him sleep with her and and then was flexible when I needed to modify the reservation unexpectedly. I felt like my dog was in great hands with her. It was his first time staying away from home and I think that he felt very comfortable and happy in her care. I would highly recommend Hannah!

Rachel is a loving and caring animal lover. I left my dog and my daughter's dog with her for a week. They were well taken care of and enjoyed all the love they got from Rachel and her adult children. Both of her children were also very good with the dogs. Rachel sent me pictures often and kept me informed on how they were doing. The dogs looked like they were having a great time. I also loved that she took them for a walk at least 3 times a day and had a fenced yard. They got along well with Rachel's dogs. I will definitely use Rachel again. She took such wonderful care of our dogs.

Rachelle is awesome. She sent us pictures and my dogs looked comfortable staying with her. When we picked them up, they both looked happy and looked familiar with Rachelle so I think they were comfortable staying with her and liked her. They didn't forget letting Rachelle know they appreciated her by going back to her and let her pet them one more time before we left.

We can't say enough good things about Brent and David. This was the first time our two, 8 1/2 year old Boxers have been away from us for 8 days. We had left them a day or two with our daughter in the past and through that experience, we discovered they don't eat for a day or two over separation anxiety and basically mope. Not the case here! These pups didn't miss a beat! Healthy appetite every day, plenty of exercise with walks and outdoor playtime, sofa lounging, treats, love, pets, full - hands-on attention and just happy. Our guilt and worry disappeared pretty rapidly after seeing the daily photos and video we received. We could not have dreamed or asked for better care of our fur babies. We can now take trips without concern and will always use Brent and David! Our dogs were loved. Highly recommend, A+, Five Star #happyfurbabies #BrentandDavid #Rover

Michael did an amazing job boarding my dog for the week. He kept me updated, made sure my dog was well cared for, and treated her like family. I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in great hands. Highly recommend Michael to anyone needing reliable and caring pet boarding!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
