About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats my whole life. I’m a great balance between active and just keeping company - from puppies/kittens to senior pets I work weekday mornings but am free after 1pm daily and all day Wednesday and Sunday — plenty of time for walks, drop-ins, overnight care, or just hanging out with pets. I live in a pet-free apartment in a safe, walkable neighborhood with access to a nearby dog park. I share the space with a pet-loving roommate, and we both enjoy spending time with animals. Whether in my home or yours, I focus on keeping pets comfortable, relaxed, and cared for with lots of attention and companionship.
“Anna and Nick were WONDERFUL! We felt so at ease our entire trip and I never once had to ask for updates because Anna was on it - she sent me photos and videos everyday. Our dog had such a great time and loved playing with her new best friends Chewey and Libby. Will absolutely rebook in the future.”

“Lizzy is the best! She took wonderful care of Marley and I can’t thank her enough. She’s a loving, thoughtful sitter and I feel so at ease anytime my pup is with her 🐾❤️”

About: I grew up in a home full of animals and loved every second of it. At one point, we had five dogs and six puppies running around house. Being surrounded by dogs was such a special part of my childhood and helped shape my love for caring for them. Today, I have a 3 year old dachshund of my own who has been one of the biggest blessings in my life. As a pet parent, I understand how important it is to know your baby is in safe and loving hands when you’re away. That’s why, on my days off, I enjoy providing that same peace of mind to other pet owners. I treat every pet as if they were my own, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, walks, or simply keeping your pet company, I’ll make sure they receive the attention and care they deserve. As a full-time Nurse Practitioner student, my schedule can be busy, but spending time with dogs is one of my favorite ways to unwind and recharge. Caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life, and I genuinely enjoy incorporating pet care into my weekly routine. Whether it’s going for walks, playing, providing companionship, or simply giving them extra love and attention, I find so much joy in being around dogs. They bring a special kind of happiness and comfort, and I love having the opportunity to care for them when their owners need a helping hand. have a home with a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely play, explore, and get plenty of exercise throughout the day. Inside, pets are treated like part of the family and are welcome to relax, play, and roam comfortably in a safe, supervised environment. I make sure each pet receives plenty of attention, affection, potty breaks, playtime, and exercise based on their individual needs and routine. I understand that every dog is different, so I do my best to maintain the schedule and care they are accustomed to at home. Whether your pet loves playing outside, going for walks, cuddling on the couch, or simply having companionship, I will provide a loving and comfortable environment where they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.

“This was the first time we left our pup with a stranger so we were a little nervous. But Barbara was great about sending us pics and videos. And she has a great home and big fenced in backyard for your dog to play in. We highly recommend her and will be hiring her again for our dog sitting needs.”

“Hannah is so patient and kind. She made sure Ellie was happy and healthy during her stay, went above and beyond in her care, and was very communicative with me. I highly recommend her for any pup, especially if you need special accommodations for medical or behavioral issues.”

“Gloria and her kids are superb in taking care of my furbaby. She keeps me updated of whats going on with my furbaby. I know its not easy due to my furbaby needs to take some medications 2x a day. Inspite of that they did a great job. I thank them for taking care of hershey and for being patience with her❤️❤️❤️.”

About: I grew up with dogs, cats, horses, chickens, fish, you name it. I currently have two dogs and a cat, pet sit for neighbors, family, etc. I am a teacher, so currently off for the summer with a flexible schedule. I am a teacher, so I am home all summer and during the school year I am home by 2:30 on most days. I go in very early, so my husband does morning walk and breakfast with your dogs. If I am sitting it will be me doing all walks. We live in Atlantic Beach on a cul de sac, with a fenced back yard and lots of room. In the summer my day consists of yard work, gardening, and beach walks. Weekends are generally with my husband and friends. My dogs go for daily walks and pretty much follow me around all day! The cat either lays under the boat or on my daughter's bed depending on her nap schedule. Dogs get breakfast, a snack and dinner at 6:30 sharp and yak chews from the farmer's market as their treats. If house sitting I will do whatever the pet owners prefer.

“Such a great sitter for my dog! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! She took lots of pictures of my dog and he seemed very happy and well cared for. She took him of many walks and kept me updated on him.”

“Lisa and David were wonderful to my Rosie! From the moment I met them I knew they truly LOVED DOGS!! I loved her photos and updates of our girl! I highly recommend them!!”

“Wendy was superb. This was my first time boarding my 4 month old teething golden and was exactly what I was hoping for. I was out of town for 4 days, she was very flexible with my flight delay, sent updates and pictures daily and my boy was excited to see me but sad to leave Wendy cause she took such good care of him. I’m hesitant to trust strangers with my pup but will absolutely be using Wendy again.”

“Andrea and David were great! This was my first time using Rover and they gave me a great experience. They checked in daily with photos and gave me updates on how my dog was doing each day. They even gave me a keepsake from her stay there! They also made the accommodation to pick up and drop her off which was nice for me with having a 3 month old. I would definitely book with them again if I need someone to watch my girl and I think that you should too!”

Brooke and her sweet family took wonderful care of my boxer. I was worried my dog wouldn’t want to come home with me after all the love she was getting from Brooke and her family. Brooke kept me updated with daily texts and pictures. We will 100% be using Brooke in the future.
Susan was great to work with and made everything really easy from the start. Gwennie settled in right away, which is not something she does everywhere, so that meant a lot to me. It felt like she was genuinely cared for and comfortable the entire time. I really appreciated the attention and flexibility Susan showed throughout. I’d love for Gwennie to stay with her again and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can trust.

Our dog Thea had a great time with Ryan for a long weekend. Ryan took excellent care of her and I really appreciate the updates and pictures he sent. I would definitely trust Ryan to watch our dog again and I'm sure she would be excited to stay with him again. Could ask for a better dog sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
