About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have experience caring for just about every kind you can imagine. I grew up with dogs and cats and my family lives on a farm, so being around animals of all sizes and personalities has always been a normal part of my life. I’ve raised both puppies and kittens and have experience with many different dog breeds, including German Shepherds, Pit Bulls, Basset Hounds, Dachshunds, and more. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments and genuinely love getting to know each animal’s personality. I also have experience caring for pets at every stage of life, from young puppies to seniors. My Basset Hound is now 14 and I’ve cared for him since he was eight weeks old, and I’ve also had cats well into their senior years. I’m comfortable administering medications and giving older pets the extra patience, attention, and care they may need. In high school, I also volunteered at my local police station, where I helped care for the K9s during their off time. I currently have a cat of my own who I’ve raised since he was six weeks old, and he is truly my pride and joy. I also have volunteered at animal shelters several times. As a bonus I’m a runner so if your guy or girl has a lot of energy I’ll happily take them on a run! I know how important exercise is for dogs and want to make sure I keep your dog active while you’re away! I currently work full time as an intelligence analyst, but I am hybrid and live very close to my office so I would be able to come during lunch time to let your dog out or give your cat lunch!
