“Lindsay was great, followed all my directions 100%. Also, I was really glad to have her watching my cats when "they" (I know which one) broke a plate. She cleaned it up and put out another bowl. also, they went through the dry food I had -she bought more and saved the day! I'll definitely book again with her.”

About: I've grown up around animals. I was raised on a ranch around horses, cows, and dogs. I've had a cat as long as I can remember, too. My lifelong passion has been animal care. Recently, for the last 2 years, I've been a professional animal trainer, working with marine mammals and birds, with a foundation in operant conditioning and positive reinforcement. I work full-time as a marine mammal trainer, but I am available most evenings/nights, and my current weekends from my full time position are Sundays & Mondays. For house visits, I am more than willing to adapt to whatever is needed. I have animal training experience and can adapt to the individual needs of the animals and their owners. Outdoors, indoors, crating, etc. I am open and friendly, but know how to be firm.

About: I've been around dogs my entire life and currently have a cat of my own, so I understand the daily responsibility and care that pets need. I occasionally walk and help care for friends' dogs and have experience with feeding, exercise, playtime, and providing companionship. I genuinely love animals and enjoy getting to know each pet's unique personality. My goal is to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away, and I'll care for them as if they were my own. Pet care fits very easily into my daily routine. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. Whether it's walks, feeding, playtime, drop-in visits, or simply providing companionship, I can adjust my day to meet each pet's needs. I enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away. I always focus on keeping pets comfortable, safe, and following their normal routine as closely as possible. In a client's home, I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise and playtime, and receive lots of attention and affection. I also keep the home clean and tidy, including cleaning litter boxes or picking up after dogs during walks. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I provide updates and photos to help owners feel at ease while they're away. Every pet is different, and I take the time to learn their personality and specific needs to ensure they receive the best care possible.
“Olivia was very sweet and caring. She was on top of everything and took such great care of our 3 pups. We were a little nervous at first but after the first visit we felt at ease. She was in constant communication and took lots of photos.”

“Our little 7 month old kitten Wooly Bully loved Brittney. They played, romped and snuggled. Thank you so much for taking such good care of him. We look forward to knowing he's having fun when we are traveling in the future. I highly recommend Brittney for any pet parents going on a trip. We also appreciated your communication and cute photos. Thank YOU!”

“Having Michelle watch Minnie was awesome! Minnie is such a shy kitty, but warmed up to her immediately. Michelle sent detailed updates and photos — I never worried about Minnie while we were gone. We will definitely book with her again anytime we travel!”

“Very communicative which is great as a pet owner, reliable, and most importantly both cats were happy to get their bellies on display from the regular photo updates showing that they had great trust in Weronika”

“As always, Bianca is amazing! My husband and I went out for a wedding, and needed someone to let our dogs out and feed them. She did even better by taking them for a nice long walk and making sure they were fed and happy before leaving. She is always so attentive, and we literally cannot recommend her enough.”

“Nathalie did a fantastic job watching our 4 cats for 10 days. She truly went above and beyond with her daily visits, and it was so comforting knowing they were in such great hands. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring pet sitter!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Araquey. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
