Kelly is just great, simply put. Drop-ins, delivery, long-term pet care, she really does it all! She became a part of my dogs life, and he/we will surely miss her with her relocation. My wife and I operate on a varying schedule and Kelly was always there to accommodate our needs. Trust me, you’ve found a good one with her.

About: I've been around dogs my entire life and currently have a cat of my own, so I understand the daily responsibility and care that pets need. I occasionally walk and help care for friends' dogs and have experience with feeding, exercise, playtime, and providing companionship. I genuinely love animals and enjoy getting to know each pet's unique personality. My goal is to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away, and I'll care for them as if they were my own. Pet care fits very easily into my daily routine. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. Whether it's walks, feeding, playtime, drop-in visits, or simply providing companionship, I can adjust my day to meet each pet's needs. I enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away. I always focus on keeping pets comfortable, safe, and following their normal routine as closely as possible. In a client's home, I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise and playtime, and receive lots of attention and affection. I also keep the home clean and tidy, including cleaning litter boxes or picking up after dogs during walks. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I provide updates and photos to help owners feel at ease while they're away. Every pet is different, and I take the time to learn their personality and specific needs to ensure they receive the best care possible.

About: Hello! I'm Molly and I'd be honored to care for your four-legged family members! I've taken care of pets for 25+ years. Caring for dogs/cats of all sizes, breeds and behaviors is my true love and passion. I am a fun-loving, experienced professional, and will love your fur-children/family member as if they are my own. I provide service to St. Johns & Flagler county pet families 7 days a week. My schedule is flexible to accommodate and ensure your sweet baby receives the personal attention he/she deserves. I believe every individual pet is unique and special. I follow the lead of what each pet parent wants for their sweet fur-baby. Older or more seniors dogs may need some company, cuddles and a short walk. Young active pups may need long walks in their neighborhood or local park. I think what matters most is trust -and that your pet feels safe, happy, and loved until you get home.

About: Animals aren't just a hobby for me—they have been my entire life. I have been proudly caring for dogs and cats since I was a child, and for over twenty years, I have successfully raised and parented both on my own. Because of this lifelong devotion, I am deeply fluent in both "dog" and "cat," understanding their unique personalities, cues, and needs at a core level. When your fur baby stays with me, they aren't just being "watched"; they are being welcomed into a home backed by decades of hands-on expertise and a lifetime of genuine love. You can enjoy your time away with absolute peace of mind, knowing your best friend is in the hands of an experienced, dedicated, lifelong pet advocate. By day, I am a proud, full-time 12-month employee with the St. Johns County School District. Because of my weekday commitment to our schools, I dedicate my weekends entirely to your fur babies! I treat your home with the utmost respect and follow your exact instructions to the letter. During my visits, I don't just rush in and out; I make sure your pet gets quality one-on-one time. For dogs, that means brisk walks, fresh water, and active play. For cats, it means clean litter boxes, fresh food, and interactive play or gentle socialization depending on their mood.

Bonnie was great about feeding them around the same time each day to keep them on schedule. She also sent pics and let us know when one can was hiding all day. 10/10 would book again!!

Gayle was great! I found myself in a bind and she was able to show up on very short notice, without ever having met my dog. This left me somewhat uneasy and worried while I was at work but she showed up on time filled my instructions impeccably and lo and behold everything went smoothly and without a hitch. I’m so grateful for her services and would not hesitate to request her again the next time I need some help.

About: I'm a professional and responsible caretaker of 25 years now, of dogs, cats, children, the elderly and residential family homes as well as commercial properties, and I love it more with each passing year! I am a personable and energetic companion, with an infinite amount of love for all animals. There's nothing that I'm unable to do and no job too big or too small. I own my home and would be thrilled to board any number of pets for any amount of time. I value this opportunity to be your best friend's home away from home and give them all of the love that you would give to them, because they deserve it and so do you! It such a rewarding and touching experience to enjoy the same animals loving me more and more over time, and eventually just being affectionate as can be! I love knowing that I can send you pictures(as often as you'd like) of your fur baby, giving you relief and knowing that not only is your dog safe and nurtured, but happy and loved! I've always said that I just want to cuddle with dogs all day and still pay my bills haha. Although I was mostly joking, how amazing is it that I can actually make that dream a reality!!😻 Maybe mans' best friend but your dog is also my best friend too...if you could please just help to introduce us to each other. Thank you for your consideration Best Kelly I have a fairly flexible part time work schedule, of 20-25 hours per week, that I'm unavailable. But Saturday and Tuesday I have wide open full availability, so I am ready and willing to meet your needs all day & night (including overnights/boarding), on any Tuesday or Sunday! I am also available in the mornings until 10am , and 3pm or after every day of the week! I'm available early morning and late afternoon, evening and nights, all 7 days of the week! The only time that I am unavailable is from 9:30am-3pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, and 8:30am-3pm on Saturdays. So I am available from 6am-9:30am and after 3pm on Mon, Wed-Fri, from 6am-8:30am and after 3pm on Saturday, and all day & night long on Tuesdays& Sundays. Available at or after 3pm and for the rest of the day & night, all 7 days of the week! Can do overnights/ boarding as well😁 Thank you 🤙 I treat every animal as if they were my own child! It's hard enough to be away from their parents at all, so I am just as positive, affectionate, loving and comforting as I can possibly be, so your pets feel comfortable and at peace. I communicate with the pet and/ or homeowner to find out exactly what they expect from me, and always write down all of the specifics of animal care(food & water and frequency, medicines, restrictions, if they go outside or stay inside, things they like or find comfort in like their favorite toy or treat to ensure that feel as much at home as I can make them feel) so I don't forget anything important! I usually reread the list everyday that I'm there, just to be sure not to miss anything. Lastly I always spend the last hour or day cleaning up after myself & the pet, to leave things nicer than I found them. Whether it's taking their trashcan to the road and gathering their mail, along with washing their dishes and making sure the bathroom and kitchen are nice & clean for them to come home to. Or it could be giving the dog a bath if I'm not house sitting as well. Basically if you're going to pay me to do something, I'm going to make it worth your while and be as helpful, clean and efficient as possible! Just a basic rundown in addition to feeding and walking and picking up after said animal, I like to go above and beyond what is expected of me. I reach for the best customer service I can possibly provide, to hopefully create a very happy dog and parents, as well as a repeat customer! If you hire me, you will not regret it! I am happy to care for your pet in my own home, or to travel to your home. Whatever is preferred and easiest for you 😊 Thank you for your consideration -Kelly

About: Hi, I’m Catie! I work full-time from home and love spending my free time outdoors with animals whenever I can. My family and friends joke that I “disappear” in public because I’ll stop to greet every dog I see or, if I’m out on a run, I’ll randomly pause just to say hi to cats sitting outside along the way. Being active and around pets is a big part of my lifestyle, which makes pet care a natural fit for me. I take care instructions seriously and focus on making sure each pet feels comfortable, stays on their normal routine, and is happy and well cared for. I have experience with cats and dogs of all ages and temperaments, including senior pets, shy or anxious animals, and those with special health needs. I’m comfortable with senior care, special diets, and helping animals who need extra patience to warm up. I also have volunteer experience with a rescue organization, along with hands-on experience administering medications and managing special diets. Keeping litter boxes clean is second nature to me, and I understand how important cleanliness and consistency are for cats. Since I work from home, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to adjust my availability as needed. You’ll also get regular updates, photos, and clear communication. I’m basically that person who can’t resist taking pictures of photogenic pets, so expect a lot of cute photo spam too. Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine since I have pets of my own and am used to keeping up with schedules, routines, and all the day-to-day care that comes with them. Since I work from home, I also have the flexibility to fit visits into my day more easily than someone with a more structured work schedule. I’m very intuitive with animals and usually pick up quickly on their moods, comfort levels, and personalities. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping things as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow their usual routine as closely as I can, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, litter box care, and any other instructions. I also pay close attention to behavior and comfort to make sure they’re getting the care and attention they need while their favorite human is away.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
