“I was quite skeptical about hiring a pet sitter coming into my house while I’m on vacation. Normally my brother would come, but he wasn’t available. I came across the Rover app and decided to see what it was all about. I filled out what I needed for my pet and had responses in a short period of time. I set up a meet and greet with William and felt like he would work out. When he came for the meeting I seen the interaction he had and decided to book him. Still a bit hesitant I had no other choice and said either I would have to trust and feel comfortable with William or cancel my trip. I dropped off the keys to him the day before and went on my trip. About: Iv taken care of animals for four years. Iv done grooming, boarding, Walking, Pet sitting and use to work at a Vet hospital and doggy daycares. I am currently only working part time during the week so I am available Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. I can do mornings, afternoon walks and night walks. I am big at taking any notes when we first meet. I do like sending videos and photos of your animals when I walk them and give them lots of love when I finish their walks. I do make sure they always have water and food..

About: I have worked at a doggy boarding and daycare facility for eight years. I have been managing for three of those eight years. I have cared for numerous breeds and dogs of all ages. I do have a soft spot for elderly dogs, but do love walking and playing with younger, energetic dogs as well. As a result of my years of experience, I am capable of giving all forms of medication, making meals (dry, canned, homemade, raw, etc), and I have worked with dogs and cats of all temperaments. I have started this little business because I have seen how much happier pets are when they are cozy at home compared to a boarding facility, especially if they are prone to anxiety when they are away from home. I, myself, own a corgi named Clancy. He is a very happy little boy. I am off from my other job from Wednesday afternoon to Saturday. I have appointments every other Thursday from 11 to 1:30, but aside from that, I'm free. Walking and drop-ins work best for my schedule as they are the most flexible jobs offered here. I will walk your dogs wherever you feel comfortable. If they have a beloved route, I will keep them on it. During drop-ins, I will adhere to any instructions you have. At my place of work, I follow food and care instructions (that always vary) daily.

About: I’ve volunteered several summers in row washing kennels and food bowls playing with the kittens and post them on social media to help get them adopted. I have two dogs of my own and have taken care of multiple animals at once. I can and will gladly work any day and I will care for your furry family as if they are my own. Your furry friends are safe in my care! I take my dog for regular walks and to the groomers I brush him daily and make sure he is comfortable in his harness and leash. I am able to effectively use commands that your dog is used to. And can give tips are effective ways of to teach commands and keeping them safe and happy.

About: As a child/teen, I walked, fed, bathed and walked pets for my friends, family and neighbors. My family has always had multiple pets of all sorts. Animal loving runs in my blood! Although I work full time (M-F 8-5), my lunch breaks are flexible and I will work those around whatever is needed of me. I also do drop ins and walks after 5:00. Weekends are very open. I promise to follow any guidelines, restrictions, etc you have set for your pet. Pets are family. I have my own and treat them the same as my children & how I would want someone to take care of my family.

About: I've been an animal lover ever since I was a kid, so much so that I wanted to be a vet at the age of 5. I grew up with animals in the house (dogs, cats, and fish) and started taking care of them as soon as I was old enough. aside from nannying, my first job was dog walking/sitting and to this day it is still something I enjoy doing. I have 15+ years of experience in dog walking, feeding, safety, and administering medication (pills and topicals, not trained in injections). I love all breeds and am a highly active individual so I hope your furbaby is ready to play! My schedule is mostly open. I’m unavailable on weekdays from 9 am to 1 pm but could potentially squeeze in a quick visit from 8:30-9 if needed. My weekday afternoons and evenings are mostly open. Weekends are usually pretty open as well! I do travel about once a month, but I will be sure to reach out ahead of time and/or block it out in the app. Your pet's safety is my top priority while they’re in my care and I will treat them as if they are my own. that being said, they will have my full attention throughout our visit. in addition, I love taking pictures of the animals I care for so I will be sending updates!
