About: I’ve had a lifelong bond with my furbabies, and one of the most meaningful experiences I’ve had was caring for my sweet dog, Eva, whom I brought home when she was 4 weeks old. I was fortunate to have her by my side for nearly 16 years, caring for her through every stage of her life and especially during her final year. She passed away on July 11th, just a month and a half shy of her 16th birthday, and I was grateful to be there for her through her final moments and lay her to rest. Her final year taught me so much about the patience, comfort, compassion, and extra care that senior furbabies need. I also have a 14-year-old cat Evander, who grew up alongside Eva and is grieving her loss, which has given me an even deeper understanding of how strongly animals bond with one another.
