I have two 4 year old cats Chloe, and Oliver that have their own room and kept separate from other animals when needed. I work from home overnight and I home school my 7 year old daughter so I’m home majority of the time outside of running errands. Morning feeding happen between 6 and 8am followed by yard play and then nap time. Pm feeding are usually between 4:30 pm and 6:30 pm followed by a little time to burn off steam or a walk before bedtime. I do let pets out to use the bathroom every 2 to 4 hours. Bowls and crates are washed and kept clean daily along with vacuuming the floors. Loving and caring for your pet as if it’s my own, long walks, supervised play time, separate feedings, time to decompress, pets will always be leashed or in a secure enclosed area. Pets are allowed on furniture. I will keep pet owners updated with pictures and videos throughout visit. Calls and text anytime day or night are welcome.

About: Hi, My name is Maarten and twenty-nine years ago, I applied for an internship at Artis, a zoo in Amsterdam. As luck would have it, I didn't get the job and life took me in a different direction. Now I am 45 years old and fate has finally delivered me to a spot where I can get back to my childhood dream of working with animals. I grew up in a household filled with animals: dogs, cats, guinea pigs, fish, rats and parrots. This nurtured a wide knowledge of animal care. Over the years, we've had 9 dogs, all of which I trained myself. At the moment, I am raising a 1.5 year old German Shepherd and a 6 month old BullMastiff mix. I want to say that over the years, dogs have grown especially close to my heart. To be honest, they have completely taken over. At the moment, I work part-time as a kennel attendant for S.A.F.E. Pet Rescue. Although I consider it a dream job, my long-term goal is to open up my own doggy daycare. Approach to Dog Walking: I believe that every dog is unique and deserves the utmost care and respect. I approach dog walking with a big smile and a warm heart. My goal is to create a fun and lively experience for your dog, making each walk a joyful adventure. During our walks, I'll ensure your furry friend's safety and well-being, while also encouraging positive behavior. Wednesday and Thursday I work for S.A.F.E. Animal Shelter. About: Growing up we had 17 golden retrievers. 14 of them were puppies. I now have two of my own and love to be around them. My family has been involved in training. I also worked at 2 different animal hospitals where I was a kennel technician. I have 2 daughters . Currently I am going backed to school to become a dog trainer. I currently work two day a week on Wednesday or Thursday and am available all other days, though I may need some time set aside to care for my own pets. About: I've been an animal lover ever since I was a kid, so much so that I wanted to be a vet at the age of 5. I grew up with animals in the house (dogs, cats, and fish) and started taking care of them as soon as I was old enough. aside from nannying, my first job was dog walking/sitting and to this day it is still something I enjoy doing. I have 15+ years of experience in dog walking, feeding, safety, and administering medication (pills and topicals, not trained in injections). I love all breeds and am a highly active individual so I hope your furbaby is ready to play! My schedule is mostly open. I’m unavailable on weekdays from 9 am to 1 pm but could potentially squeeze in a quick visit from 8:30-9 if needed. My weekday afternoons and evenings are mostly open. Weekends are usually pretty open as well! I do travel about once a month, but I will be sure to reach out ahead of time and/or block it out in the app. Your pet's safety is my top priority while they’re in my care and I will treat them as if they are my own. that being said, they will have my full attention throughout our visit. in addition, I love taking pictures of the animals I care for so I will be sending updates!
About: I worked at an animal hospital for 9 months. I also went to school to be a zookeeper. I know how to give medications, clip nails, bathe, I will take your pets on walks and play, I will follow all requirements put into place by the owner! My schedule is Monday- Friday, I work 8:30-5:30. On Saturday/Sunday, I work 8-2. I can walk your animals 2x a day. I can check on your animals in the morning and evening if you want me to just visit and feed. I can stay the night as well but I will be gone from your house during those times. I love all animals and will do my best to take care of them while you are away and will always send pictures, every single visit. I follow care instructions to the letter and treat your animal as if it were my own. I medicate my own dog daily for skin allergies and perform nail trims weekly for not only my dog, but my 4 cats as well. I also care for my roommate’s parrot when she is away. I will make sure your animal receives the same love and care you give them while you’re away.
