About: Hi, My name is Maarten and twenty-nine years ago, I applied for an internship at Artis, a zoo in Amsterdam. As luck would have it, I didn't get the job and life took me in a different direction. Now I am 45 years old and fate has finally delivered me to a spot where I can get back to my childhood dream of working with animals. I grew up in a household filled with animals: dogs, cats, guinea pigs, fish, rats and parrots. This nurtured a wide knowledge of animal care. Over the years, we've had 9 dogs, all of which I trained myself. At the moment, I am raising a 1.5 year old German Shepherd and a 6 month old BullMastiff mix. I want to say that over the years, dogs have grown especially close to my heart. To be honest, they have completely taken over. At the moment, I work part-time as a kennel attendant for S.A.F.E. Pet Rescue. Although I consider it a dream job, my long-term goal is to open up my own doggy daycare. Approach to Dog Walking: I believe that every dog is unique and deserves the utmost care and respect. I approach dog walking with a big smile and a warm heart. My goal is to create a fun and lively experience for your dog, making each walk a joyful adventure. During our walks, I'll ensure your furry friend's safety and well-being, while also encouraging positive behavior. Wednesday and Thursday I work for S.A.F.E. Animal Shelter. The rest of the week I am available between 08:00 and 15:30. Evening visits can be planned by special request. The safety of your pets and property are my main focus. Before you take me on as your pet profesional we will go over your dog's/cat's strengths and weaknesses to ensure a healthy happy and safe experience.

About: I’ve always loved caring for animals, growing up I’ve had rescued and help rehome a few stray pups in need and it’s my joy to care for them. I own 2 senior toy poodles who are my world, they are very playful, social and love people, even though they have that small dog energy all the time. In my home, I make sure that my guests are comfortable, as if it’s their home and I will follow all instructions for care from the owner.

About: I think dog’s are awesome animals and they are so loyal. I love being around dogs and seeing their true personalities come out. One day I would live to have a dog, but I want to wait until I have a backyard to let them run. I work a 9-5, but I am remote. This gives me flexibility to tend to your animals needs. Animals are like toddlers and need a lot of care and attention. This is an important thing to remember for any animal owner. I will treat any animal as if they are my own. I can’t wait to meet your furry friend! i work at a grooming business in the mornings from 7-1 tuesday through saturday. so my schedule is pretty open a lot of the days. i stay in your home so your fur baby isn’t in a new and uncomfortable environment. I stay strictly to the schedule given to me by you. I stay with the dogs all day when i’m not at work.

About: I have always been around puppies and dogs of all ages all of my life. I currently volunteer at the humane society walking dogs. I rarely meet a dog that I do not like. I have two dogs at home that I take care of a 3 year old hound dog and a 12 year old rescue that I have had since she was a puppy. I am currently volunteering at the humane society. However, I am available to walk, play, and care for your pet Monday thru Saturday at anytime. I prefer to take care of your pet in your home or neighborhood so that way your pet is in a comfortable and familiar place.

About: Growing up my family always had cats and dogs, so I’ve been around them my whole life. Pets bring so much love and fun into your life, they are a part of the family and they are so important. I will care for your pet like they are my own. I have a 6 year old poodle named Lola who I love with my whole heart. My qualifications- I’ve taken care of older cats for a neighbor, I’ve housesat for friends and family who have pets, and I volunteered at an animal shelter for over a year, where I would clean kennels, take dogs on walks, play with cats, and organize and paint the shelter. In my home, my dog Lola has access to food and water 24/7, and I take her outside every 4 hours or so during the day. She lets me know when she needs to go outside. In your home, I can provide any feeding/walking schedule that your pet is used to. I’m very easy-going and adaptable to anything.

About: Ive had animals all my life. I also now have almost 2 years of vet med experience, both general practice and emergency. I was a vet assistant and now I am a vet tech, so I am pretty experienced with taking care of animals. If your pets needs to be medicated, I have that experience as well. Any size dog, big or small, I can handle. Animals are everything to me so much so that I plan to be a veterinarian one day. So your pets will be in the best hands. I’m currently working days 3-4 days a week. So I have time and availability for walks and drop ins any day. I can do boarding, home sitting, and doggy day care around my schedule. I crate my own dog when I’m gone, so I can crate yours too if needed and that’s what you prefer. I have other dogs that can keeps yours company if they do better not being alone. I also make sure there isn’t anything around or out that can cause harm to your fur babies
