About: Hi, My name is Maarten and twenty-nine years ago, I applied for an internship at Artis, a zoo in Amsterdam. As luck would have it, I didn't get the job and life took me in a different direction. Now I am 45 years old and fate has finally delivered me to a spot where I can get back to my childhood dream of working with animals. I grew up in a household filled with animals: dogs, cats, guinea pigs, fish, rats and parrots. This nurtured a wide knowledge of animal care. Over the years, we've had 9 dogs, all of which I trained myself. At the moment, I am raising a 1.5 year old German Shepherd and a 6 month old BullMastiff mix. I want to say that over the years, dogs have grown especially close to my heart. To be honest, they have completely taken over. At the moment, I work part-time as a kennel attendant for S.A.F.E. Pet Rescue. Although I consider it a dream job, my long-term goal is to open up my own doggy daycare. Approach to Dog Walking: I believe that every dog is unique and deserves the utmost care and respect. I approach dog walking with a big smile and a warm heart. My goal is to create a fun and lively experience for your dog, making each walk a joyful adventure. During our walks, I'll ensure your furry friend's safety and well-being, while also encouraging positive behavior. Wednesday and Thursday I work for S.A.F.E. Animal Shelter. The rest of the week I am available between 08:00 and 15:30. Evening visits can be planned by special request. The safety of your pets and property are my main focus. Before you take me on as your pet profesional we will go over your dog's/cat's strengths and weaknesses to ensure a healthy happy and safe experience.

About: Growing up my family always had cats and dogs, so I’ve been around them my whole life. Pets bring so much love and fun into your life, they are a part of the family and they are so important. I will care for your pet like they are my own. I have a 6 year old poodle named Lola who I love with my whole heart. About: I have owned dogs my entire life. I’m very attentive pet lover I enjoy spending time with animals, will play with, walk, feed, and care for your dog as if he or she is my own. I have dog sat for many friends and family members. Even got offered pets because of how well they seen me take care animals. I Have experience administering medicine, giving baths, nursing dogs back to health, training, and more. I’m very energetic and playful and will make sure your pet gets the proper exercise and burn off all that extra energy. I volunteer at the local animal shelter taking dogs on bow wow break out and fostering. I have 2 dogs stormy and koda. Stormy just turned a year old and koda is 6 months old very playful and loves other animals. We go on long walks in the park and on nearby trails. They love car rides and pup cups from Jermiah’s. I have two 4 year old cats Chloe, and Oliver that have their own room and kept separate from other animals when needed. I work from home overnight and I home school my 7 year old daughter so I’m home majority of the time outside of running errands. Morning feeding happen between 6 and 8am followed by yard play and then nap time. Pm feeding are usually between 4:30 pm and 6:30 pm followed by a little time to burn off steam or a walk before bedtime. I do let pets out to use the bathroom every 2 to 4 hours. Bowls and crates are washed and kept clean daily along with vacuuming the floors. Loving and caring for your pet as if it’s my own, long walks, supervised play time, separate feedings, time to decompress, pets will always be leashed or in a secure enclosed area. Pets are allowed on furniture. I will keep pet owners updated with pictures and videos throughout visit. Calls and text anytime day or night are welcome.
