About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life! I worked as a veterinary technician in high school for 2 years, gaining hands-on experience with pets of all sizes—from tiny kittens to large-breed dogs, and even exotic pets. I’ve personally cared for reptiles, senior pets, and energetic puppies, so I’m confident handling all ages and temperaments. Whether your pet needs meds, extra patience, or just tons of love—I’m here for it! What sets me apart is my vet tech background and my calm, confident approach with all kinds of animals. I’m not just here to “watch” your pet—I truly care about their comfort and happiness. I understand body language, medical needs, and how to keep pets safe and stress-free. You can relax knowing your fur (or scale!) baby is in experienced and loving hands. Pet care fits perfectly into my routine! I’m a nursing student and currently work PRN as an EMT after working full-time in EMS since 2021. My schedule is flexible, especially during weekdays and weekends, and I’m great at time management. Caring for animals is something I truly enjoy, and I love having pet visits or walks as part of my day—it’s a welcome break from the chaos of EMS life! Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. With my background as an EMT and former vet tech, I’m calm in emergencies, attentive to detail, and confident in administering medications or handling special needs. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or mine, I stick closely to their routine and make sure they feel secure and loved. I respect your space, keep things clean, and provide regular updates so you always know your pet is happy and safe. You can trust that they’ll be treated like family.

About: Hi, My name is Maarten and twenty-nine years ago, I applied for an internship at Artis, a zoo in Amsterdam. As luck would have it, I didn't get the job and life took me in a different direction. Now I am 45 years old and fate has finally delivered me to a spot where I can get back to my childhood dream of working with animals. I grew up in a household filled with animals: dogs, cats, guinea pigs, fish, rats and parrots. This nurtured a wide knowledge of animal care. Over the years, we've had 9 dogs, all of which I trained myself. At the moment, I am raising a 1.5 year old German Shepherd and a 6 month old BullMastiff mix. I want to say that over the years, dogs have grown especially close to my heart. To be honest, they have completely taken over. At the moment, I work part-time as a kennel attendant for S.A.F.E. Pet Rescue. Although I consider it a dream job, my long-term goal is to open up my own doggy daycare. Approach to Dog Walking: I believe that every dog is unique and deserves the utmost care and respect. I approach dog walking with a big smile and a warm heart. My goal is to create a fun and lively experience for your dog, making each walk a joyful adventure. During our walks, I'll ensure your furry friend's safety and well-being, while also encouraging positive behavior. Wednesday and Thursday I work for S.A.F.E. Animal Shelter. The rest of the week I am available between 08:00 and 15:30. Evening visits can be planned by special request. The safety of your pets and property are my main focus. Before you take me on as your pet profesional we will go over your dog's/cat's strengths and weaknesses to ensure a healthy happy and safe experience.

About: Growing up my family always had cats and dogs, so I’ve been around them my whole life. Pets bring so much love and fun into your life, they are a part of the family and they are so important. I will care for your pet like they are my own. I have a 5 year old poodle named Lola who I love with my whole heart. My qualifications- I’ve taken care of older cats for a neighbor, I’ve housesat for friends and family who have pets, and I volunteered at an animal shelter for over a year, where I would clean kennels, take dogs on walks, play with cats, and organize and paint the shelter. Thank you for considering me as your pet-sitter! ❤️ I have flexible hours, because I work as a door dasher, but pet-sitting/walking is my preferred job, so I can be available whenever I am needed. In my home, my dog Lola has access to food and water 24/7, and I take her outside every 4 hours or so during the day. She lets me know when she needs to go outside. In your home, I can provide any feeding/walking schedule that your pet is used to. I’m very easy-going and adaptable to anything.

About: Very patient and attentive with all my fur babies. Anyone who has ever owned a pet knows how much of a labor of love is required to be a pet parent. I’m always open to providing as much needed walks and belly rubs as possible so that your fur baby gets all the necessary attention. I have plenty of time to help with pet care. I try to make my schedule as flexible as possible, more or less depending on the pet owner needs. I usually make sure the environment is pet friendly and hide all small items that any pet could accidentally ingest, make sure that all of their toys are near, and medications that they need are nearby also. Sure that they have plenty of water and food for their liking or dependent on the specifications of the owner based up their pets needs. And try to make sure that they have something that smells like their owner near so they aren’t weary of their absence.

About: I have many years experience with dogs. I currently have a German Shepard pup who is like one of our children. I believe in healthy, homemade treats and lots of exercise! Walks are a favorite of ours as well as homemade ice cream treats in warmer months. In cooler months, we have a heated garage to play in and still do walks, just shorter. I have 2 small children who love animals and are respectful. I am a big fan that animals should be treated with love and respect. I look forward to caring for your animals and making them apart of our family! Just like people, animals need companionship. We will always strive to do our best to make your family to feel safe and comfortable at all times. I work overnights and from home so there will be lots of time for play and love in our daily routine. Walks are always fun and needed, so I plan on at least 2 a day depending on the age of dog. I do not have a fenced in yard but have walking leashes where they can safely roam our back yard. We love walks and use harnesses for safety. I also have a large crate if needed while your pup visits.

About: Years of experience taking care of dogs, both large and small! Additionally, I am the proud owner of an orange tabby cat, whom I adore endlessly. I understand and have experience with the high-energy "zoomies" and playful nature of both puppies and cats. What sets me apart from other sitters is my comprehensive experience with pets of all ages and sizes. Currently, I have a senior dog at home, so I am well-versed in providing specialized care, including administering medication, managing special dietary needs, and ensuring frequent bathroom breaks. Friends and family have relied on me to watch, walk, feed, and play with their pets. My love for animals drives my dedication to caring for your pets. I am committed to providing your pets with the same level of dedication and affection that I give to my own furry friends. As I transition back into work and prepare to return to school next year, I find that pet care fits seamlessly into my flexible schedule. Living at home allows me the freedom to manage my time efficiently, accommodating both my responsibilities and personal pursuits. My flexible hours enable me to adapt to the needs of pet owners, whether it's for daily walks, feeding schedules, or overnight stays. I prioritize my commitments, ensuring that I can dedicate ample time to providing quality care for pets while also pursuing my hobbies and professional goals. Incorporating pet care into my routine not only aligns with my current lifestyle but also enriches it, fostering a sense of responsibility, compassion, and companionship that I deeply value. When caring for pets in their own homes, I prioritize creating a comfortable and familiar environment for them. Here's how I typically approach pet care in clients' homes: Initial Assessment: Before starting any care routine, I conduct a thorough assessment of the pet's needs and the home environment. This helps me understand their routine, any medical requirements, and specific instructions from the pet owner. Establishing Routine: I strive to maintain consistency by following the pet's usual routine as closely as possible. This includes feeding times, bathroom breaks, exercise, and playtime, ensuring minimal disruption to their daily life. Environmental Enrichment: I create a stimulating environment for the pet by providing toys, interactive games, and enrichment activities tailored to their preferences. This helps prevent boredom and promotes mental stimulation and physical activity. Safety and Security: I prioritize the safety and well-being of the pet by ensuring that the home environment is secure and free from potential hazards. This includes securely closing doors and windows, removing toxic plants or substances, and safely storing any cleaning supplies or household items. Health Monitoring: Throughout my time with the pet, I keep a close eye on their health and behavior, noting any changes or concerns. This includes monitoring their appetite, hydration, bathroom habits, and overall demeanor. In case of any issues, I promptly communicate with the pet owner and seek veterinary assistance if necessary. Personalized Care: Every pet is unique, so I tailor my care approach to suit their individual needs and preferences. Whether it's administering medication, providing extra cuddles for comfort, or accommodating specific dietary requirements, I ensure that each pet receives personalized attention and care. By following these guidelines and maintaining open communication with pet owners, I strive to provide a reliable, compassionate, and professional pet care service that gives both pets and their owners peace of mind while they're away.

About: I have been a dog owner, professional dog care provider, and frequent volunteer at animal shelters for the last 3 years. Dogs provide me with endless joy and entertainment and I make it my mission to make them feel as comfortable, loved, and supported as possible when I'm with them. I live with my fiancé, who has been working professionally with dogs and numerous other animals for 8 years, so you can rest assured that your dogs will receive exceptional care during their time with us. I love going for walks (long or short, filled with sniffs and adventure or simple bathroom trips) and taking trips to nearby Lanier Dog Park, so your dog can get the right amount of exercise and outdoor time depending on its personality and the weather or season. I know that when you are away from your pet it can be quite anxiety inducing so I'm happy to provide frequent photo or video updates to keep you in the loop on all the fun we're having! I promise your dog will get tons of love and attention while in my care!! My wife and I both work from home doing pet care full time. Your pets will get 100% of the attention they need and deserve during a stay at our home. I have a small, fenced in yard for bathroom breaks in between longer walks. I’m able to crate your dog if needed but also fine allowing them to sleep on a sofa/dog bed/my bed if that’s what they’re used to.

About: Growing up we had 17 golden retrievers. 14 of them were puppies. I now have two of my own and love to be around them. My family has been involved in training. I also worked at 2 different animal hospitals where I was a kennel technician. I have 2 daughters . Currently I am going backed to school to become a dog trainer. I am always available and try to accommodate in any way I can. I appreciate hanging out with animals and doing everything I can for them. I am CPR certified for dogs. Me and my children enjoy animals so if we aren’t doing school work, or helping other animals I am outside training or practicing with my dogs. I have a fenced in yard so my dogs and I are always outside playing. They love to play with the toys and run. We practice training a lot of the time.
