About: I have owned cats and dogs all of my life. My last dog was 18 and 1/2 yrs old when I lost her. She was my best friend and I still miss her 9 yrs later. Animals give us unconditional love and they deserve the same in return. They communicate with us if we keep our minds open to it. I am semi retired, I work independently from home and have a lot of free time. I am looking for some fur babies to take care of so their guardians can feel comfortable leaving them. I will treat all dogs and cats like my own and I take their care very serious. If that means sending daily videos or pictures to their guardians to put them at ease, I am happy to do just that. My cats are on a timed feeding schedule of prescription cat food and 3 weekly feeding of fresh wet cat food with no by products, just protein, rice and broth. I check their weight weekly and they receive vet visits quarterly like clock work. I take their health as seriously as I take my own. I find no ask unreasonable and will check in with pet parents as often as requested.
About: I've taken care of dogs on and off my whole life. I love dogs and once had a beautiful Samoyed with one blue and brown eye. I'm currently working part - time so I'd have plenty of time for spending time with and taking care of animals. I'm pretty flexible and would enjoy it immensely. About: Hi, My name is Maarten and twenty-nine years ago, I applied for an internship at Artis, a zoo in Amsterdam. As luck would have it, I didn't get the job and life took me in a different direction. Now I am 45 years old and fate has finally delivered me to a spot where I can get back to my childhood dream of working with animals.
