I enjoy spending time with animals and treat every pet with patience, kindness, and care. I’m available every week and have a flexible schedule for pet care. I’m available to discuss the best days and times that work for you and your pet. I have experience caring for my own dog and cat, as well as family pets. I’ll follow your pet’s usual routine, provide plenty of attention and care, and make sure they have a safe and comfortable environment while they’re in my care.
About: Since middle school, I have grown up caring for many different animals. I was responsible for the care of my pets; including two rabbits, three guinea pigs, a leopard gecko, and four snakes. All of these pets lived a very lavish and spoiled life. During high school, I used my volunteer hours fostering dogs, rehabilitating them for their forever homes. The care for these dogs included feeding, walking/playing, training, and medical care. I started working in the veterinary medicine field almost two years ago. This field has given me the experience of providing compassionate medical care, no matter the patient. I am now a full time student studying for radiology. I am a full time student, in which I attend classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am free in the early mornings and late afternoons of those two days. The rest of the week is completely free besides the 2-3 hours I spend studying for school. I tend to be very watchful with pets and do not like to let animals out without some sort of lead unless your yard is fenced in. I will always prioritize safety over anything else to ensure a safe and positive experience for all parties involved. I also ask that I be either provided an emergency contact and/or a preferred veterinary caretaker in case (god forbid) an emergency does come up. I also ask that if a pet is receiving medications, there are clear directions with clear times to administer medications.

About: Hi there! My name is Elisabeth and I am a Florida-native looking for some dog, cat, and house sitting opportunities this summer. I am 26, love the Florida beach, and absolutely am obsessed with furry friends. I have 2 cats of my own, and I've lived with a dog before, so I have much experience in reading behaviors, moods, and emotions in animals. I work remote, and so I can be available to travel and do feedings, water breaks, or potty breaks pretty much anytime of the day. I offer safety and security. I am a college Instructor, with years in a professional job and teaching remotely, so I understand good communication, reliability, professionalism, and caring for others
About: Hi, My name is Maarten and twenty-nine years ago, I applied for an internship at Artis, a zoo in Amsterdam. As luck would have it, I didn't get the job and life took me in a different direction. Now I am 45 years old and fate has finally delivered me to a spot where I can get back to my childhood dream of working with animals. I grew up in a household filled with animals: dogs, cats, guinea pigs, fish, rats and parrots. This nurtured a wide knowledge of animal care. Over the years, we've had 9 dogs, all of which I trained myself. At the moment, I am raising a 1.5 year old German Shepherd and a 6 month old BullMastiff mix. I want to say that over the years, dogs have grown especially close to my heart. To be honest, they have completely taken over. At the moment, I work part-time as a kennel attendant for S.A.F.E. Pet Rescue. Although I consider it a dream job, my long-term goal is to open up my own doggy daycare. Approach to Dog Walking: I believe that every dog is unique and deserves the utmost care and respect. I approach dog walking with a big smile and a warm heart. My goal is to create a fun and lively experience for your dog, making each walk a joyful adventure. During our walks, I'll ensure your furry friend's safety and well-being, while also encouraging positive behavior. Wednesday and Thursday I work for S.A.F.E. Animal Shelter. The rest of the week I am available between 08:00 and 15:30. Evening visits can be planned by special request. The safety of your pets and property are my main focus. Before you take me on as your pet profesional we will go over your dog's/cat's strengths and weaknesses to ensure a healthy happy and safe experience.
About: Howdy! I’m a EMT student trying to incorporate my love for animals in with keeping in shape for my next career. I’ve lived and worked on farmland all my life — I’m not phased by aggressive *livestock*, much less a reactive dog! I spend a lot of my time currently training dogs for people in need, and working with shelters to help their nervous dogs develop some adoptable skills. I’ve also been volunteering with disabled animals (wildlife and domestic alike) since I was in middle school, in rehab facilities and as a home foster, and I’m very accustomed to delivering meds to all the most resistant patients. They’re a part of my daily function — they eat when I eat, I don’t go for runs without them, and if I’m going to any pet-friendly store they can behave in, they’re already in the car. My pets and any others in my care are not only my first priority in terms of safety, but in fun! My career and lifestyle has had me naturally trained in pet aggression and reactivity, including muzzles and muzzle training, crate training, heavy leash pulling etc.

About: I may be young but I grew up on a farm for most of my life. I love all animals. I have taken care of most animals that come to mind. I have been animal sitting in some shape of form since I was 8. Your pets are in good care and are loved. Please know that they are in great care. I have/had dog/s of my own and they are always happy and healthy. I can travel as well to you and your pet. I love puppies and kittens and have what is necessary to take care of them. I am very charismatic, sweet, and funny.
About: What sets me apart is the personal attention, patience, and genuine love I give every pet in my care. I understand that every dog and cat has their own personality, routine, and comfort level, so I take the time to learn what makes each pet feel safe and happy. I’m dependable, communicative, and treat your pets like they’re my own. Whether your pet needs extra playtime and exercise, a calm companion, puppy potty breaks and basic routine reinforcement, or gentle care for a senior pet, I’m happy to tailor my care to their individual needs. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your fur baby is happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. 🐾 Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m able to accommodate morning and evening walks, drop-in visits, feeding schedules, playtime, and overnight care depending on your pet’s needs. I enjoy getting outside for walks and spending time with animals, so pet sitting is something I genuinely look forward to—not just another job. I’m happy to work with your pet’s normal routine and provide consistent, dependable care while you’re away. Safety and trust are my top priorities. Whether I’m caring for a pet in my home or visiting a client’s home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and secure. I make sure pets have fresh water, appropriate meals, exercise, playtime, and plenty of affection. I’m also careful about doors, gates, leashes, medications, and anything else that could affect their safety. For senior pets, puppies, or pets with special routines, I’m happy to provide extra attention and follow detailed instructions. I treat every home with the same care and respect I would want for my own. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away.
About: I’m putting myself through college, so everything I make from Rover goes towards my tuition. I have had pets, especially dogs since I can remember as a kid. I’ve also worked for a pet sitting company for 2+ years. For a typical day, I’m highly adaptable to whatever schedule your pets are on. This tends to keep them more comfortable in their home and routine while you’re away! I typically leave in the morning time, then do a drop in visit in the afternoon for at least an hour. I come back at dinner time to spend the evening and night with your furbaby. However, that schedule can be changed to fit your pets specific needs. I’m well versed in many different animals, and am always willing to learn ones that I am not. I try to keep pets I sit as close to their typical routine as possible, and am constantly taking pictures to update their pawrents. Feel free to contact me and set up a meet & greet to see if I would be a good fit!
About: Raised in Oklahoma surrounded by horses, chickens, goats, and dogs, caring for animals has always been second nature to me. My six years as a postal letter carrier added another layer to that experience, giving me a strong, practical read on dog behavior and body language out on the daily route. Now living in The Villages, I bring that lifelong familiarity to every sit. I’m comfortable with the full spectrum of pets—from giant Mastiffs to tiny Maltese, alongside cats, birds, and farm livestock. Though new to the Rover platform, I am an experienced, full-time sitter with a proven track record of 28 five-star reviews from past clients on Trusted Housesitters. Working remotely full-time means I’m right there where your pets need me most. They get steady, around-the-clock companionship, regular outdoor breaks, and total consistency with their usual feeding and exercise schedules. Whether you have an energetic dog that needs active routine or a senior pet that prefers a calm, watchful presence, I offer dependable, level-headed care that keeps your animals safe and your property thoroughly respected. Because my wife and I both work remotely full-time, our schedule is extremely flexible. Someone is almost always present in the home, meaning your pets receive constant companionship, frequent pot-breaks, timely feedings, and zero disruption to their normal daily routine. We easily integrate walks, play sessions, and attention throughout the day while we work. We treat your home and pets with total respect, cleanliness, and security. During sits in your home, we follow all security protocols, maintain strict leash safety during outdoor walks, and adhere closely to your feeding, crate, or medication routines. We send regular updates and photos so you can travel with complete peace of mind, knowing your pets and property are in mature, experienced hands.
