About: I not only grew up around dogs, but I’ve worked in animal shelters and a pet resort, where I was responsible for the needs of dogs and cats. I earned 44 hours of volunteer work at the Humane Society in St. Thomas, U.S.V.I., where I gave tours to potential dog owners. I worked at Pet Suites and LifeLine, where I ensured all pets received their food and/or medicine in a timely manner. I have fostered dogs for Angels Among Us and found homes for all of them. I also take an interest in dog training. I’m not a licensed trainer, but I enjoy teaching dogs manners and tricks. I currently work part-time Tuesday through Thursday from 9 AM to 5 PM, which means I have open availability in the mornings, evenings, and full availability on Fridays through Mondays. I’m very organized and plan my schedule carefully to ensure every pet receives the time, care, and consistency they deserve. I live in a pet-friendly apartment with other dog neighbors. There’s a lot of grass surrounding the complex. While at work, I prefer letting dogs roam unless they need to be in a crate.

About: I have great experience with all dog sizes, but medium to small is the best for me. I have taken care of elderly dogs before, and I have a small elderly pomeranian at home, so i realize they require gentle care and attention. I have a dog park outside of my apartment that is mostly unused. It is perfect for giving your dog a potty/play break. The street i live on is slow with light traffic. I am able to care for pets 24/7. I am a part time student, mostly on line, so I am at home most of the day. I work in my bedroom or living room, and I have no trouble doing work on my computer with your pet. My apartment is not on a street, just a parking lot. There is a large yard and doggy play pen outside my home. I live with a Vet student, and I am better able to care for animals with her help. I have one roommate, and my apartment is very quiet and large. I am home all day, and i enjoy quiet studying while siting next to your pet. I get bored easily so I go for walks 4-5x a day, which I would love to do together with your pet! I have a lot of patience for animals since I grew up with them, but i prefer low-energy and calm animals because I get overwhelmed easily.

The first family who trusted me had quite the crew — two birds, a turtle, two senior cats, a dog, and even a couple of fish. At this time, boarding is available only to dogs who already have an established walking, drop-in, or daycare relationship with me. Dogs showing aggression, predatory behavior, severe resource guarding, or repeated unsafe behavior toward resident animals may not be eligible for boarding. If a boarding stay must be ended for safety reasons, care may be converted to drop-in visits at your home for feeding, potty breaks, and companionship whenever possible. 🚗 Premium pick-up and drop-off For added convenience, I offer pet transportation as an optional add-on. I can personally pick up or return your dog along my existing daily route, allowing you to leave your dog comfortably at home without coordinating an in-person handoff. This service is priced accordingly to reflect the additional time, travel, and personalized care involved. ⛔ Important booking policies * One complimentary meet and greet is included for new clients * Additional meetings should be booked as a walk or drop-in to cover time and travel * Every pet receiving care must be listed on the Rover booking * Bookings should be confirmed within 48 hours of the meet and greet or the requested time may be released * House-sitting and drop-in bookings follow a seven-day cancellation policy * Availability is not guaranteed until a booking has been formally confirmed by you. through Rover. My goal is to be both your pet’s advocate and your peace of mind while you’re away. 🚨 Safety and stress policy Safety is always my top priority, both for your pet and for me. If a pet displays aggression, extreme fear, severe anxiety, or behavior that makes a visit unsafe, I will still make every reasonable effort to ensure their essential needs are met, including food, water, medication when safely possible, and potty access. However, I may modify or shorten the visit if continuing would increase stress or create a risk of injury. This is never done as punishment. It is a safety decision intended to prevent escalation and protect everyone involved. Any significant concerns will be clearly documented and communicated to you. 🛏️ Crate or confinement requirement for boarding For boarding stays, dogs must be comfortable resting safely in a crate, exercise pen, gated room, or behind another secure household barrier. This is a firm boarding requirement. At night, during meals when separation is needed, and anytime dogs cannot be directly supervised, boarding guests will be safely confined. This gives every animal appropriate space to rest and ensures all pets remain secure while I am sleeping, showering, completing household tasks, or briefly away from home. Crates and gated spaces are always used as calm, neutral resting areas, never as punishment. If your dog normally uses a crate, pen, gated room, or another confinement routine at home, please share the details with me so I can keep their stay as familiar and low-stress as possible. Dogs do not need to love being crated, but they must be able to tolerate safe confinement without panicking, attempting to escape, or injuring themselves. If your dog is not currently comfortable with any form of secure separation, boarding may not be the right fit at this time. In that case, drop-in care in their own home may be a safer and more comfortable alternative. This is non-negotiable.
About: For my entire life my family has owned pets of all kinds, and I have several years of experience pet sitting for friends and family. I am a full time stay-at-home mom with the knowledge and confidence to fulfill all of your pets needs! Our family pet is a golden doodle. She is super sweet and has never had a conflict with another animal. If you have a hyper pup, she would love the company! Alternatively, if you have an older pup, she will respect their boundaries. I have cared for several older dogs, including those in need of daily shots or hourly bathroom breaks over night. I am no stranger to waking up at all hours of the night to meet the needs of your pet. I do have an infant in the house, so pets must not be aggressive, and pets will not be allowed in the bedroom or on the furniture. I am a full time stay-at-home mom to the sweetest baby girl. She is still young, so we rarely leave the house. We live close to a beautiful park and will be happy to enjoy the walk with your pets as frequently as requested. I have a fenced in yard, a beautiful park to which we can walk, and I can offer food/medicine/water on the schedule which your pet requires. If food aggression is a concern, I have a room dedicated to our dog which can be used to isolate her from your pet during feedings.
About: I have owned cats and dogs all of my life and can't imagine my home without them. Animals give us unconditional love, and they deserve the same in return. I have given IV treatments to ailing cats with kidney damage and experience with dispersing meds/pills by mouth. I will treat all your loved ones with the same care that I provide my own. I am retired; I work independently from home and have a lot of free time. I am looking for some fur babies to take care of so their guardians can feel comfortable leaving them. I will treat all dogs and cats like my own and I take their care very serious. If that means sending daily videos or pictures to their guardians to put them at ease, I am happy to do just that. I am happy to feed, water and clean pet areas as part of my home visits. I will scoop litter boxes as well. I take their health seriously and fresh water/food is a very important part of staying healthy. I find no ask unreasonable and will check in with pet parents as often as requested.

About: I have owned dogs my entire life. I’m very attentive pet lover I enjoy spending time with animals, will play with, walk, feed, and care for your dog as if he or she is my own. I have dog sat for many friends and family members. Even got offered pets because of how well they seen me take care animals. I Have experience administering medicine, giving baths, nursing dogs back to health, training, and more. I’m very energetic and playful and will make sure your pet gets the proper exercise and burn off all that extra energy. I volunteer at the local animal shelter taking dogs on bow wow break out and fostering. I have 2 dogs stormy and koda. Stormy just turned a year old and koda is 6 months old very playful and loves other animals. We go on long walks in the park and on nearby trails. They love car rides and pup cups from Jermiah’s. I have two 4 year old cats Chloe, and Oliver that have their own room and kept separate from other animals when needed. I work from home overnight and I home school my 7 year old daughter so I’m home majority of the time outside of running errands. Morning feeding happen between 6 and 8am followed by yard play and then nap time. Pm feeding are usually between 4:30 pm and 6:30 pm followed by a little time to burn off steam or a walk before bedtime. I do let pets out to use the bathroom every 2 to 4 hours. Bowls and crates are washed and kept clean daily along with vacuuming the floors. Loving and caring for your pet as if it’s my own, long walks, supervised play time, separate feedings, time to decompress, pets will always be leashed or in a secure enclosed area. Pets are allowed on furniture. I will keep pet owners updated with pictures and videos throughout visit. Calls and text anytime day or night are welcome.

A quick story from the pandemic: My parents have a Chihuahua-Pomeranian mix name Jacques. One night when it was just him and me, I noticed it looked like he was straining to eat his crunchy food. He was always picky, but that day I noticed him straining to chew like when we bite into a Gobstopper. I picked him up and drove him to PetSmart. We bought Bil~Jac, the softest, healthiest dog food available for a dog his size. “12 pounds of fresh chicken in a 15 pound bag,” it said. This is not an ad, I swear. I remember the first time he tried his new food. He looked at his bowl, looked at me, looked back at his bowl... then, jumped off the chair where he eats, ran and jumped onto my lap, excitedly licking my whole face! Jacques gained 3 pounds in the next month or so, and he was only 5 pounds before we switched food! I love seeing him healthy and happy. My goal is to treat everyone else’s pets like they are members of my family. Because it isn’t always easy to trust a stranger, I believe that it is more important than ever to be accountable and responsible for anyone under my roof. They all deserve my deepest level of care. I work from home as a full-time entrepreneur, and absolutely love animals! I set my own schedule, take good notes and photos, and am very detail oriented. About: I have many years experience with dogs. I currently have a German Shepard pup who is like one of our children. I believe in healthy, homemade treats and lots of exercise! Walks are a favorite of ours as well as homemade ice cream treats in warmer months. In cooler months, we have a heated garage to play in and still do walks, just shorter. About: I not only grew up around dogs, but I’ve worked in animal shelters and a pet resort, where I was responsible for the needs of dogs and cats. I earned 44 hours of volunteer work at the Humane Society in St. Thomas, U.S.V.I., where I gave tours to potential dog owners. I worked at Pet Suites and LifeLine, where I ensured all pets received their food and/or medicine in a timely manner. I have fostered dogs for Angels Among Us and found homes for all of them. She gets along with their Luna, which I know our puppy enjoyed a lot. There is no doubt that they treated her like their own. I trust them and will definitely use them again.”
About: I always had dogs growing up in my household and have so much love for them & all other animals. I do have a dog myself & have lots of experience with dog behaviors, medications, dog food, etc. I am a 4th year Animal Science student on a pre-veterinary track at UF & I’m a veterinary assistant at an amazing clinic. When I can, on my free time, I also take the time to volunteer at the Humane Society of North Central Florida. I’ve dogsitted many years for friends & family. I do know how expensive doggy daycares & boarding can be so I wanted to sign up and help pawrents that need a more affordable option. When I’m not working, I have lots & lots of time to hang around your pups, give them company, or just simply walk them! If you have any specific requests, I’m more than happy to accommodate however you’d like. I do live in an apartment so I don’t have a yard but I do walk my girl 3 times a day & she can help keep your baby company. I also have a dog crate and can use it for your pup if you’d like. On some days, I take my baby to the dog park for an hour and can have your pup tag along if you feel comfortable with that.
“Teagan was a wonderful host for my Five Year Old pups first time boarding. She helped me out in a last minute booking while we were at the hospital for a day. She went above and beyond for the care she gave my little one. I am very much thankful for Teagan, and if we have to ever again do an overnight stay or just a day visit to Shands again I will always seek Teagan out every time.”
