She stayed the nights at our house since thats when we worried the most about leaving them. She made sure to spend time getting to know them, they were buddies quickly. She left our house cleaned up the way she found it. She stayed in touch with me everyday and sent me some amazing pictures. We were super pleased and it was amazing to be able to go away and not worry. Thank you Alecia !!!”

About: I have always loved dogs and taken care of them since I was a kid.Since I’ve become an adult I do the same I have potty trained and crate trained every dog I’ve had myself, I work very few hours a week and I can work these hours around the times I have visiting pets. So I am available whenever I am needed. I have one dog in my home who will love to play with your fur babies! I have a big yard it’s not fenced in but I use a leash to take them out and make sure they get plenty of exercise!

About: I love spending time with the furry friends. I've had several dogs, all of which lived to be over 10. I've taken Veterinary classes in high school and am looking to become a veterinarian. All money will go towards cost of school. Very active, willing to not only walk dogs but run them as well. Willing to take dogs on hikes as well as swims. Willing to clean up after dogs they mess inside while family isn't there. Able to transport dogs of all sizes, take to groomers, and bathe them myself either inside or outside depending on families preference. Works with wet food and dry food. I work part time, so I am able to check/walk pets before work and when I get off work! And weekends are always available as well. I will always do clean up in the house where needed from pet activities. I can also vacuum and clean before the end of the visit so owners come home to a clean home!

“Hello my name is Ava! I have been Grace's best friend ever since we were in sixth grade. She carries so many admirable qualities such as responsibly, time management, and her love for cleaning. Ever since we were young Grace has had a noticeable love for animals. She has had two dogs throughout her whole life and has loved them with her whole heart. Additionally, she also has a cat for about five years! Last summer, I was going out of town and she watched my German Shepherd named Zuko! He is about 85-90 pounds so not everyone feels comfortable taking care of him, but I knew Grace would be a great option. She is always so easygoing and I asked her two days in advance and she dropped everything for me! Zuko has anxiety and does not feel comfortable with everyone and Grace made him feel just like we were there. I admire Grace's ability to take care of things and get them done in such an amazing way. She put such an immense amount of care into Zuko, and I do not doubt for even a moment that she would be an amazing, loving pet caregiver!”

About: I have taken care of all types of dogs, as well as birds, and have grown up with cats all my life. To name a few, I have taken care of and been responsible for pitbulls, standard poodles, lab/hound mixes, golden retrievers, chow mixes, chihuahuas, etc. I am currently working full-time as a teacher, but am available most days after 3:15 during the week, and also available during the weekend as long as I am given at least a 1-2 weeks in advance notice, so I may plan accordingly. I would prefer to fur-babysit at my client's home just because it is where they are most familiar, and I want them to be comfortable.

About: I have been a pet owner my whole life. Having had multiple large dogs including pit bulls and now smaller breeds and cats! I’m also able to care of farm and exotic animals! For Farm animals and exotic animal care I do that on a personal basis, not on rover as rover doenst have the options for pricing those animals needs. But please message me if you’d like those services! Rover does take 20% of my income so please consider tipping as it helps me out! I’m in the process of opening a salon in my local town but in the mean time my schedule is open for lots of fur baby care! Playing and walking your pup is always a good idea! Especially if they have high energy and love toys. Will walk your pup or even cat with provided leash and harness. Will follow your instructions on feeding time and will not feed them anything other than what you have stated. In the case of an emergency I do have a small first aid kit in my car and will take your pet to the vet should they need it.

About: Taken care of dogs of all breeds my whole life. I own 2 cocker spaniels, and a cat. We are hoping to get a golden retriever. My friends often turn to me for dog sitting when they travel and know I spoil their dogs like a fun aunt. I work from home full time so unless I have to run an errand to the store, I’m always home. I already care for my two dogs, and have pet sat for my friends. Working from home allows a lot of flexibility to be with the dogs all day and meet their needs. My large yard gives them a space to run and play. I have a fenced yard, an outdoor kennel if needed, 2 small and 2 large kennels for inside the house. Dogs are not left alone together unsupervised at any time. If I have to go to the store, then they are kenneled. If there are dog personalities that can’t get on well, I keep them separated using kennels and bedrooms and outside time.

About: I have been caring for animals since I was in high school. Friends, family, and strangers have relied on me to care for their cats, dogs, rodents, birds, and lizards for years. My animals are my babies and they are treated as such. I love spending time with other peoples' animals just about as much as I do my own. When your pets are in my care, they are given the highest quality of care. My clients become like family - I will check in with you to see how your fur babies are doing and if you need me for anything. I am a teacher in Micanopy. My work schedule is 7:00-3:30 Monday through Friday. I have the ability to do drop-ins before and after work (location dependant) as well as boarding/housesitting throughout the week. My house contains three pet-loving adults, so when a pet stays in my home they are never alone. I'm typically available every weekend, holiday break, and summer as well. At my home, I have a fenced-in backyard and cameras. I also have a spare room that allows for slow and controlled introductions between client pets and my own personal animals. While my pets are allowed in the fenced-in yard by themselves, I never leave client pets alone to ensure they don't dig out of the yard and get lost. When caring for pets in my clients' homes, I follow any and all instructions the client gives.
