About: I ran a pet nutritional building for two years, I also was in charge of feline foster care, as well as walking dogs in our neighborhood in Pennsylvania. I have a soft spot for animals of all kinds. Daytime hours are preferred, willing to do nights for comeback clients. I’m located in lancaster so depends on how far the drive. Whatever is most convenient for your needs. I do not normally do in-home pet care, I will sit during the day, but I will not do overnights in house unless special request. About: I began house sitting in high school for close family friends and neighbors. The first family who trusted me had quite the crew — two birds, a turtle, two senior cats, a dog, and even a couple of fish. Caring for their pets, especially the cats, taught me early on how important consistency and attention to routines can be. Since then, I’ve cared for and walked many dogs while babysitting and nannying, both for short visits and overnight stays. My own dog tore his ACL while I was in college, and for months I carried him up and down stairs while managing his recovery. He also had allergies that required daily medicated baths, a special diet, and multiple medications. He was clever enough to try to outsmart me when it came to pills, which taught me patience, creativity, and a sense of humor when caring for animals. I truly believe every pet has a unique personality. I approach pet care with attentiveness, patience, and playfulness so animals feel safe, understood, and well cared for. My goal is always happy pets and complete peace of mind for their owners. I work a full-time schedule during the week, but I’m happy to provide care before and after work and occasionally in the evenings depending on timing and location. With advance notice, I’m also happy to adjust my weekend schedule to fit your pet’s routine. I do my best to accommodate requests whenever possible. I treat my pets as family, and I have witnessed my family and friends care for pets as if they are a child. On days I couldn’t bring my dog along, I trusted the people watching him to do the same, and maybe even add a little extra love for missing his family.
