We had a delay due to this government shutdown with our flight and could not get home for an extra day, she was able to keep the dogs an extra day, no issues. She also sent tons of pictures over thier stay, saw that our 1 dog had a loose molar and informed us immediately, she is very observant and very caring to our dogs. If you ever need a sitter and she is available, hands down she is your sitter. I dread using another sitter if she is not ever available.”

“Warm and caring sitter; bright, welcoming, dog-friendly home with a neat fenced in yard in a quiet neighborhood. After the initial pet care plan for my St. Augustine vacation fell through, I found I needed to board my dogs for the very first time, very anxiety-provoking for both me and them. The initial kennel situation I found did not work for their sensitive cuddly little souls and I was scrambling to find a better option. I was incredibly lucky to find Leanna on Rover. She responded very promptly to my booking request and assured me she would give my little guys the attention, freedom, comfort and cuddles they craved. Right upon arriving, I could tell my dogs felt comfortable with Leanna and comfortable in her home. From the way she welcomed them and the patience and friendliness she showed as they got settled and acquainted with her dogs, I could tell that she was both very experienced and a true dog lover. Leanna kept me updated on how my guys were doing, with photos which I so appreciated. I could see that they were behaving like their typical selves, finding the same types of comfy spots they love at home, socializing with her dogs and curling up cozy with her. When I picked them up, they weren’t even in a hurry to leave and one of them who is typically quite anxious and slow to warm actually whimpered looking toward her house as if he didn’t want to leave! It’s almost like they had a vacation of their own in Leanna’s lovely home with her and her dogs. Amazingly, I actually got back dogs who were calmer and more confident than the ones I left! I am beyond grateful for Leanna’s loving care of my dogs for the week they were with her. I feel that she really treated them like her own. As a result, I was able to actually relax on vacation and not worry about them at all. If I ever come to St. Augustine with my dogs again I will be sure to contact Leanna. I cannot recommend her highly enough.”
