About: I have taken of cats dogs goats birds for most of my life and 4 legged critters are the love of my life . I enjoy I am retired and have lots of time for pet care. I can do overnites and drop ins for any pet needs. I love walking dogs. I would go pet owners home and provide feeding walking and companionship . I will always have pets on leash and constant supervision at all times .

I treat every animal as if they were my own child! It's hard enough to be away from their parents at all, so I am just as positive, affectionate, loving and comforting as I can possibly be, so your pets feel comfortable and at peace. I communicate with the pet and/ or homeowner to find out exactly what they expect from me, and always write down all of the specifics of animal care(food & water and frequency, medicines, restrictions, if they go outside or stay inside, things they like or find comfort in like their favorite toy or treat to ensure that feel as much at home as I can make them feel) so I don't forget anything important! I usually reread the list everyday that I'm there, just to be sure not to miss anything. Lastly I always spend the last hour or day cleaning up after myself & the pet, to leave things nicer than I found them. Whether it's taking their trashcan to the road and gathering their mail, along with washing their dishes and making sure the bathroom and kitchen are nice & clean for them to come home to. Or it could be giving the dog a bath if I'm not house sitting as well. Basically if you're going to pay me to do something, I'm going to make it worth your while and be as helpful, clean and efficient as possible! Just a basic rundown in addition to feeding and walking and picking up after said animal, I like to go above and beyond what is expected of me. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
