“Bridget was reliable and wonderful with our dog, Scout — he absolutely loved her. She was also incredibly helpful and kind with my elderly mother. We would definitely use her again!”

“Nelli took great care of Chloe and she is super flexible and understood our instructions well. Chloe likes to go out and walk with her. We will definitely require her services again. Thank you again!”

“Danielle does a great job with our little divas! She’s responsive and on time and we really trust her. Highly recommend. We also so appreciate her being flexible with our rotating schedule!”

“Mary is absolutely amazing! She took such wonderful care of our dog, Deak, while we were away for a few days. She sent daily photos and an itemized list of his "business", and went above and beyond by keeping up with his daily walking routine and even spent time letting the school kids pet him which he loves! It’s clear she genuinely loves animals and has a superior work ethic. We returned to a happy, relaxed dog. We will be booking her for our next trip and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a loving and reliable pet sitter!”

About: I've been surrounded by dogs my whole life. My grandma down in Georgia works at a grooming shop with her friends that I help out with the moment i get a chance. I am also currently a volunteer at the Adoption First Animal Rescue animal shelter off of Western. I plan on entrepreneuring my own dog grooming salon in the future because I'm passionate about pets getting the care they need while being in a safe and comforting environment. I have loved and adored animals, especially dogs and cats, my entire life and I plan to do whatever I can to make any clients' pets happy and loved for the time I am with them. I am currently a high school senior and I get out at 12:42pm, so I would say I'm available after 1pm. I do work part time at Dario's but I am MORE than willing to prioritize working with your pets. I would just need to know at least two days beforehand. When I am taking care of a pet, I am very focused on them, especially if they require specific amount/kind of attention. I am also very good at analyzing animal behavior/body language to know if the animal is in any sort of distress or if they are upset. Every pet is different, and I trust that clients know their pets the best. I take careful consideration of what my client will tell me about their pet and I will utilize that information to the best of my ability.
“Bianca did a great job with my senior cat. She provided photos and video, updates about him and even cleaned up after him. She was also kind enough to put out the litter on trash day. I would definitely recommend Bianca.”

“Autumn watched our Emmit while we were abroad getting married and honeymooning. To say we were nervous to leave him for 2 weeks is an understatement, but Autumn left continual comments and pictures of Emmit and made us feel so much better and confident in being away for so long. She even gave him toys on days we requested and sent photos to show us. Thanks again Autumn!”

About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for both dogs and cats of different sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities, including puppies and high-energy breeds. I'm patient, reliable, and understand that every pet has unique needs. I provide playtime, walks, feeding, fresh water, and plenty of attention and affection. I'm also comfortable following detailed care instructions, administering basic medications if needed, and keeping owners updated with photos and messages for peace of mind. My goal is to make your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved as if they were my own! I currently have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the week, allowing me to accommodate drop-in visits, walks, and pet care needs at various times of the day. During the summer, I have the time to provide attentive and reliable care for pets. I prioritize each pet's safety, comfort, and routine by following all care instructions carefully. I make sure pets have fresh water, are fed on schedule, get plenty of attention and exercise, and are always supervised as needed. In clients' homes, I respect their space, keep the environment clean and secure, and provide regular updates with photos and messages.
“We took an instant liking to Sydney, and so did our dog Brody. The meet n greet went fantastic and even tho we are going to be sad leaving him while we go on vacation I know he is going to get all the love he gets from us, while Sydney home sits with him.”

About: Hi there! I can’t wait to meet your furry family members! ❤️ Animals have been the center of my world for as long as I can remember. Growing up, our house was always beautifully chaotic and filled with love. At one point, we were managing three dogs all at once, including our sweet Westies, Mac and Emma, and our goofy 3-year-old Pitbull mix, Piper. Piper is actually our cherished "foster fail" from an entire litter my mom and I raised and bottle-fed back in 2022. Fostering that litter entirely captured my heart, and it is a huge reason why I love doing this today. I have been pet sitting since I was 14 years old, providing reliable, loving care for dogs of all sizes, as well as cats. Through those years of experience, volunteering with local humane societies, and opening our home to fosters, I’ve learned how to care for pets of all shapes, sizes, and life stages. I’m completely comfortable with advanced care, whether that means round-the-clock bottle-feeding for newborn puppies, staying on top of strict medication schedules, or just knowing how to give a high-energy pup the perfect playtime. I also pride myself on reading subtle animal body language so I can tell exactly when a pet needs a little extra comfort or space. Whether I'm keeping a sweet senior cozy like my gentle 10-year-old Westie, Emma, matching the energy of a big breed, or curling up with a kitty (I live with a cat during the school year, so I speak fluent feline!), I promise to pamper your babies just like my own. I know how hard it can be to leave your pets, so I'm here to bring lots of love, treats, tail wags, and total peace of mind while you're away! ✨🐾 Pet care fits beautifully into my week! I work part-time as a nanny with a split schedule, which gives me fantastic flexibility throughout the day. Because my routine has built-in breaks, I have plenty of open windows to drop in for midday potty breaks, lunchtime feedings, or energetic walks when your pets need them most. I am incredibly reliable and routine-oriented, so I love aligning my breaks with your pet's normal daily schedule to ensure they get plenty of focused love, attention, and exercise exactly when they need it! Safety and peace of mind are everything to me. When caring for your pets, I treat your home and your rules with the utmost respect. I always maintain a highly secure, clean, and calm environment. I am incredibly vigilant about double-checking gates, keeping harmful items out of reach, and following your exact instructions for feeding and care. I also love sending plenty of cute photo updates so you never have to wonder how your baby is doing. Your pet will always be supervised, safe, and deeply loved under my watch.
About: I got my own rabbit when i turned 7 and started pet sitting my neighbors pets at age 8! Since then i’ve pet sat ever animal you could imagine. I’m down for dog walking, pet sitting, or even just hanging with your pet. I go to UCF but I am home for the summer! I’m super flexible. I take mostly online classes and i don’t have another job! I’m willing to drive to your house. I’m free pretty much 24/7 At my house, i have 3 very different animals. So i keep them separated at all times. I feed them 2-3x a day. I used to walk my dog everyday but she is 13 now :( I am sure my rabbit gets plenty of exercise though. When taking care of other people’s pets, i just do exactly what the owner tells me
“Sam was amazing! There was a lot of confusion and mixed messages from me and my wife to her and she was completely understanding and helpful the whole time! I would definitely recommend! Raven always looked so happy in the pictures she sent :) If you're reading this, thank you Sam!”

“Giselle as always goes above and beyond to make sure the pets were taken care of. She has really great communication and always arrived on time. For the first time, I felt truly comfortable leaving my pets knowing they were being taken care of. She’s the best.”

“Martha saved our vacation!! We brought our dog on vacation for the first time snd didn’t think she’d bark so much when we tried to leave her in the hotel room alone. It was gorgeous sunny weather in Bonita Springs snd we weren’t able to use the pool! I frantiically messaged 9 different people last minute to see if anyone could help us out…Martha to the rescue!! She was great with our doggie Fema snd walked her and was a calming presence. We are planning on coming back next year snd want to have Martha watch our dog again!! Thank you!”

“Katelyn is amazing!! My cat is usually shy with strangers but he had no problem warming up to her. I am so glad I no longer have to worry about my cat when I go on vacation!”

Thank you Bridget and Allan for taking care of Bernie and the other aloof fur creatures in our home while we were on vacation. You did all that was asked and maybe made a new friend too, if that is possible with a cat :) Did a great job making sure medication was given even though it is not a favored activity. Will use you again in the future!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Whites Ford. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
