About: I’ve always loved dogs and would genuinely enjoy spending my time caring for them! I’m responsible, attentive, and dependable, and I’ll make sure your pets feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I have been caring for dogs all my life, whether it is my own or my family and friends. I’ll take the time to learn their routine and personality so they get the personalized care they deserve. 🥰 I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages and energy levels and will always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. My goal is to keep your pets happy, comfortable, and stress-free while you’re away. I’ll follow their normal routines, give them plenty of attention, and keep you updated with regular photos and messages. My schedule is very flexible and I am willing to accommodate to suit your needs! I typically work Monday- Thursday but have breaks every 3-4 hours! I can care for your pets in the comfort of their own home or welcome them into mine for boarding. I live near beautiful Roser Park, which is perfect for walks and outdoor time. I’m happy to take your pup on as many walks as they’d like and will make sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and love!
“Happy to recommend Yessica & Raymond. They sent us amazing photos of our pup throughout the day and kept us updated. They were very communicative about drop off and pick up and they were very easy to book with. Zelda can't wait to visit again!”

About: When you board with us, your pet gets more than a place to stay, your pet gets a family to be a part of. We are a family of 6 humans, 1 dog, and 5 chickens and 2 ducks. Your pet will have plenty of playmates! I am a single mother who works from home. I drop off and pick up my kids from school, and run the occasional errand, but usually I am home. I enjoy an evening walk with my chocolate lab and would love your pet to join us. I have a fully fenced, large backyard. I also have two extra crates if your dog is crate-trained and feels more comfortable sleeping in a crate. Pets being on furniture is discouraged, but rarely enforced. I have an SUV and am willing to transport pets if needed.
About: I have had dogs all through out my life for the past 20 years going from puppies to adult and I have learned to appreciate the way they communicate I am currently working full time from home and caring for additional dogs besides my own is not an issue at all. The more the merrier. I have a fenced in back yard where the doggies can roam free safely and can explore as much of the outside as they want.
About: My wife Kim and I currently own a medium 25 lb goldendoodle, Zoë, who is five years old. We previously owned two standard sized goldendoodles before Zoe. We’ve cared for our dogs from when they were puppies through their whole life, so we’ve experienced all the challenges different stages a dog’s life might throw at the owner. Either my wife Kim or I are home throughout the day. Your dog will have regular opportunities to go outside and play in our fenced in back yard as well as daily walks. We have a fenced in yard for visiting dogs to use as needed during the day. There is plenty of room to play and Zoe gets along well with other dogs.
“My dog felt happy and safe during his visit today, Definitely plan extra time for pickup & drop off since it’s an apartment complex and it takes time for them to walk to the entrance parking lot. I know he was walked because he had a couple of burrs in his fur, his fur is a magnet I swear. I would use Igrid & Brian again if I was in the area again. Thanks!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since childhood, starting with helping family and neighbors whenever they went on vacation. I handled feeding, check‑ins, walks, and playtime, and I’ve continued caring for dogs ever since. With a lifetime of dog ownership, I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities and needs. One of my dogs is currently 17 years old. I am currently a stay at home Softball Mom. Along with my dogs, my other obligation includes taking care of my 12 year old daughter. I take her to practices and games and whatever else comes up. My dogs are fed twice a day and I take them out into our yard several times during the day. I have a fenced-in yard with a lot of room where your pet can safely play and exercise, and three friendly dogs to keep your pup company while it is away from home.
“Millie did great with my little one! He was immediately comfortable with her. This was my first time using Rover so I was very nervous leaving him with a complete stranger. She provided me pictures of him enjoying his stay. When I return to this area I will definitely bring my Fudge to Millie instead of boarding him at home now that I know he has a safe, clean and comfortable home to stay in. I recommend Millie 100%!”

“Fantastic experience! Great communication, wonderful care, and my puppy had an awesome time. He came home happy, tired, and clearly cared for. Highly recommend and will book again.”

“I cannot express in words properly how absolutely wonderful Natalie was with our big goofy hound. Natalie put all of our anxieties at ease with her gentle nature and patience. Our pup seemed to look forward to his second day with her and had zero separation anxiety!!! Thank you Natalie for taking such great care of our fur baby!!!!!!!!”

“Christina was amazing with Max! He was so happy, relaxed, and felt completely at home with her. It’s clear she truly cares for the fur babies she looks after, and Max was comfortable from the very start. I’d highly recommend Christina to anyone looking for someone caring and trustworthy.”

“Second time I’ve used Katharine while visiting from out of state. Absolutely love her and the care and attention she gives my dog! I will definitely use her services again on my next visit to the area. I can’t recommend her enough!”

“Jennifer was wonderful! She took the time to ask thoughtful questions and really understand my dog’s habits to make sure he was well cared for. My pup struggles with separation anxiety, so I was nervous about leaving him with someone new, but Jennifer quickly put me at ease. She sent me frequent updates and photos, which helped so much. When I went to pick him up, he seemed relaxed and comfortable — a true sign that he was in good hands. I highly recommend Jennifer!”

About: Kelli and I both grew up caring for our family dogs and when we got married (over 30 years ago), we of course had to find our Lucy. We found Lucy at the local shelter and she changed our lives. We loved her for 13 years and when she passed, she left a gigantic hole in our hearts. We are not ready to have another dog of our own but love to care for others. We travel quite a bit and don't want to board a fuzzy baby in a kennel. About 2 years after losing our Lucy, we started pet sitting for our friends and neighbors and it has been a blessing. It's like having grand kids. We have the joy of a pet for short periods of time and then they go home! We care for pets for overnights, up to 5 -7 nights if needed. We love and care for them like they are our own. Our home is very dog friendly, with mostly tile floors and furniture they can sit/nap on. Your pet will be spoiled while visiting with us. We own a small business and Kelli works from home 5 days a week. Joe works from home 2-3 days a week. The pets get spoiled with love and attention. We have a large fenced backyard and a great neighborhood to walk in. We will walk your pet several times per day and they will have unlimited in/out privileges.
About: I have been caring for dogs for about 16 years now. I got my first dog, Sammy, in 2009 and I got my second dog, Penny, in 2017. My dogs were my best friends growing up. They both sadly passed away in 2023 and I miss them everyday. I have pet sat for multiple people around our community for both dogs and cats. I have done several volunteer experiences throughout the years with animals, including equine therapy and fostering a dog in college. During my breaks home from college, I worked in boarding at a local veterinary clinic. I gained valuable experience in grooming and administering medications with pets of various ages, sizes, and temperaments. I am currently completing graduate school at University of North Florida. I have classes from 11 AM-6:30 PM on Tuesdays, and internship at varied times on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I am available most mornings and evenings. On Friday through Sunday, I have full availability for any pet care needs. I have full availability on university breaks as well. Feel free to message me with any questions about specific dates. For boarding, I am currently living at home with family in JCP. This summer, I will be spending a lot of time at home. We have a spacious fenced in yard. There is no smokers, children, or other pets in the house. For drop ins, I have a car to get to any place needed. Safety is absolutely my number one priority for your pets. Feel free to reach out with any questions!
About: Life-long dog lovers, my wife and I have each had dogs throughout our lives, and caring for them has always been a big part of who we are. We recently said goodbye to our beloved dog after 14 wonderful years, and while we're not quite ready to add another permanent member to our family with two young children, we have plenty of love, attention, and belly rubs to share with yours! Our home is a safe, family-friendly environment where your dog will be treated like one of our own. Whether we're providing overnight boarding, doggy daycare, drop-in visits, or walks, we'll make sure your pup feels comfortable, loved, and well cared for. We understand that every dog has their own personality and routine, so we'll take the time to learn what makes them happiest—from energetic play sessions to leisurely walks or simply relaxing. As pet owners ourselves, we know how important it is to find someone you can trust. We'll keep you updated with photos and messages throughout your dog's stay so you can relax knowing they're in good hands. Our goal is simple: to give your dog a fun, safe, and loving experience while giving you complete peace of mind. My wife and I have flexible schedules, and at least one of us works from home each day, so your dog will have plenty of company and won't be left alone for long periods. This allows us to provide frequent potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and lots of attention throughout the day. We understand how important consistency is, so we'll do our best to follow your dog's normal routine for feeding, walks, naps, medications, and bedtime. Whether your dog is energetic and loves to play or prefers a slower pace with plenty of cuddles, we'll make sure they receive the individualized care and attention they deserve. Our goal is for your dog to feel safe, comfortable, and right at home from the moment they arrive until it's time to reunite with you. Your dog's safety, comfort, and happiness are our top priorities. We understand that leaving your pet with someone else is a big decision, and we'll treat them with the same love and care we'd want for our own. Our home provides a safe, clean, and welcoming environment where dogs are part of the family. We closely supervise all pets while they're in our care and follow their normal routines as much as possible to help them feel comfortable and reduce stress. We also provide regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, fresh water, and plenty of affection. Because we have two young children, we carefully screen each booking to ensure it's a good fit for everyone. We only accept dogs that are comfortable around children and have friendly, non-aggressive temperaments. All interactions are supervised to ensure a safe and positive experience for both your dog and our family. We'll also keep you updated throughout your dog's stay with photos and messages, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pup is in loving, capable hands.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
